“Ight, you gon help pay the bills then cuh?” Silas had teased when Isla said that this house was like a second home to her, knowing damn well that even if Isla wanted to pay any bills in here, Silas would never let her. Isla was welcomed anytime she wanted, and she was indeed right in saying this was like a second house to her. Ever since Silas bought this house, a year ago, Isla when she was not busy being a bodyguard and Silas were practically glued to the couch together, eating whatever meal Courtney cooked. Joking about if anything happens to Isla how she would move in here and steal her house and Silas telling her she would snatch her house right back from her.
“Are you calling me big backed?” Silas pretended to be shock, as she turned around to face Isla, feigning anger as she placed a hand on her chest. “I’ll have you know,” Silas faked a tear, “I haven’t eaten in 100 years, I’m a poor child from the victorian era and this is my first meal,” She laughed before she had asked Silas if she wanted anything to eat, though the food was definitely not going to be Gordon Ramsey. Silas could cook… well, she could mix ingredients and put them in a fire without it burning and smelling like shxt, which was essentially the same thing as cooking no? Close enough, but hey-- it wasn’t her fault that she didn’t know how to cook that much, after all, she never met her mother and was used to eating takeout food as a child.
“Anything specific you want on the sandwich?” Silas asked as she looked through the cupboard, getting the bread and other ingredient down. There were a lot of things Silas could do well, and making sandwiches was one of them. When it comes to sandwiches, even the best of chefs fear her, no one makes a sandwich like Silas. “Working on a new mixtape,” Silas answered. “The fans been flooding my comments wanting new music, and Ion feeling like dropping an album, like I got the songs for it-” Silas halted as she asked instead, “Toasted or not toasted?” Then she continued: “But i want to arrange them in a specific order, and I need more songs, if you know what I mean. What bout you? What’s been going on in that life of yours?”
