Lucy was caught up in her conversation with Levi. They had been talking for a while now. They hd order their food not long ago. So it should be coming out soon. They hadn’t gotten into anything too deep. Just the formalities of how have you been? Along with how is the family. It was a simple conversation that she wanted to finish. This public place wasn’t the right spot for the conversation they needed to have. However she knew that conversation would be for another time when they were alone and nobody was around them. Lucy wondered why Levi stopped talking to her when she got pregnant with the twins. It cut her deeper than she thought it would. She couldn’t believe how fast all the feelings for Levi came flooding back when she saw him at the Thanksgiving Yacht Party. It had been twelve years since they ended their affair.
How could she love her high school boyfriend still. When she was married and she loves Steven. She loved them both but it was different kinda of love. Levi was her first ever love. They say you never forget your first love. She has always been told you have three loves in your life other than your kids. Your first love, the wrong love and the perfect love. It wasn’t that Steven was the wrong love. However she didn’t feel he was the perfect love either. So maybe what she has been told her whole life… maybe it was a lie.
As she sat there talking to Levi she saw Blake walk in. She couldn’t help but smile. Remembering how they were on their way out of the Yacht Party when she noticed Steven. Blake walked to the counter and got some food. She watched him quietly while still paying attention to Levi of course. Then Blake came over. “Hey Lucy” He said as she smiled. She looked to him. “Well hello there handsome.” She said as she reached and gently touched his arm. She knew that even though Levi was there it was not going to stop the electricity and passion her and Blake had for one another. He then said “Whats up, How your day.” She couldn’t help but smile even more. She had two ways to answer this question.
She thought hard for a moment before saying it. “Well, my day has been okay. However, I think it just got a lot better since you arrived.” She giggled and winked at him. Hoping this would strike some jealousy out of Levi. She didn’t care if she seemed to be laying it on thick. She loved the chemistry between herself and Blake. Plus, if she could make Levi jealous it was a bonus of course. “How’s was your day? I’m still shocked we haven’t seen each other or spoken since that night at the Thanksgiving Yacht Party. Sorry that night got so awkward for us.” She smiled sweetly at Blake then looked to Levi for his response to her last statement before Blake walked over plus his reaction to Blake.
