Isla felt shaken while hearing Isabella sobbing on the other line. Something must have been seriously wrong if she was crying like this. She listened as Isabella mentioned finding out who had posted articles about her and Isla wondered who could have possibly been behind it. “Wait wait okay okay I’ll come over. Just calm down.” Going against her hesitation, she hung up the phone and started walking into the living room. She quickly started putting on her sweater that was laying on the couch. “Sorry Silas but I have to go. I’ll probably come back, I don’t know.” Then she quickly walked out of her friends mansion, got into her car, and drove off.
It had been a while since she had been to Isabella’s house and it felt strange but if she really needed her this badly, then she would be there. As she was driving she was starting to have a bad gut feeling that something was wrong, but she put it out of her mind.
When she got to the house she knocked on the door. “Isabella!? Are you in there?” She kept knocking on the door until she decided to try the nob. That was when she realized that it was unlocked. “What the f…” She whispered. She slowly went into the house, looking around. As she looked, she noticed that everything was a complete mess. The table was turned upside down along with the bookshelves with paper strewn everywhere. One of the couches was flipped upside down as well. There was broken glass underneath Isla’s shoes that crunched with every small step. “Isabella! Are you in here?!” Isla yelled. She quickly walked throughout the house noticing that a lot of things were messed up, but one thing she noticed the most was that Isabella was no where to be found. Isla started breathing hard, her body filled with adrenaline. Someone must have kidnapped her. “Oh my god…” Isla could feel some tears welling up in her eyes. She decided to call Isabella’s number one more time, but there was no answer.
So the next best thing was to call the police. She quickly dialed 911 and talked to them about what was happening.“… The house is a complete mess…” When she got off the phone she started frantically looking around until she went closer to one of the couches. That was when she spotted what looked like blood on the couch seat. Isla covered her mouth while tears welled up in her eyes. She slowly stepped back. It was very possible that she could be dead and isla was in shock to say the least. She wondered if the person who could have kidnapped her was the person who wrote those articles.
