When Jorge made those phone calls he made sure to act as if he needed a hug form him. Rowan hugged him, even though it filled him with dread to hug his sister’s attacker, only to get to his phone. While embraced he made sure to take his phone form his pocket suptly enough for Jorge not to notice it missing. He then excused himself to the bathroom. Inside he made crying noises while he was in fact just copying Jorge’s call history to his own phone. When finished, he exited the bahtroom, gave Jorge a quick hug which might be interpreted as a ‘Thank you for your help and goodybe’ hug and he used it to slip his phone back into his pocket. Rowan then left with the excuse that since he called the police, he should be the one found at the scene of the crime.
TIMESKIP
Rowan woke up to a silent house again, the only difference from all the other mornings is the fact there was a set of packed luggage in the foot of his bed, starring at him. He realized what today was and remebered how fast he packed last night. He would never go on a trip or an event without Isabella, but he knew everybody Isabella interacted with on Thanksgiving would be on that trip and since the same people were there Rowan would be able to interrogate them. He was stuck like glue to his bed for a while, and now he had to shower and get ready.
It felt amazing to finally get back to his old routine and as he both washed off the dirt and the sorrow from his body, he realized this feeling was familliar. He sighed and got ready, putting on comfortable clothing and a squirtz of perfume.
After a while he arrived at his location. By this point the fresh bounce his hair haid and the perfume lost their magic. He decided to go to the nest first and then sneak into the crown later to interrogate people. Before he could start his interrogation he took a morning cup of joe.
Enjoying his cup and waking up at the same time, destiny chose to come to him. Instead of him having to find his interrogation subjects, the one he felt he should question first decided to come straight to him. It’s no surprise since Isla hates him as much as he hates her, so as much as she is a suspect to him, he is a suspect to her. “Hello Isla. I’m glad you joined me. I know you don’t like me. And I don’t like you … But we both like Isabella, so we have to work together to find out what happened. I was told when I called the cops and went over to her brother’s house that you came over and also called the cops.”
