Isabella started talking and Rowan realized he can’t have her help unless she trusted him a bit more. It was obvious to him that she didn’t trust him. It wasn’t until she said “You said that she called me around the same time you were at her house talking to her about her brother…” To which he started shaking his head. He didn’t want to start talking until she finished before saying. “No, Isla. You got it wrong. I wasn’t in the house when she called you. I guess I should’ve been clearer. Okay so I was in her house talking to her about her brother. Then I left to find evidence, which I still have if you want to look.” He stopped to not continue too fast. He realized maybe talking a lot and fast like that is what made her mistake his words in the first place. He continued after a short break. I was gone for a while, a couple of hours. It was just when I was coming back that she called you. I was there a few minutes after she made that call. When I found her missing and the house in a complete mess I remembered she could’ve gone to Jorge’s house to ask him if he really did that. Seeing the scene I didn’t want to think Isabella was kidnappped or dead or hurt … So I went over to her brother’s house to see if Isabella was there, telling myself the mess as the house was a robbery." He shuddered. He knew where Isabella was and he knew she was safe, but he knows what it’s like to have a person you love dissapear and the horrible thoughts that fill your brain with all the possibilities that could’ve happened to the person in question. And that shudder was due to being reminded of that feeling. He continued. “It was only when I got to Jorge’s place that I realized Isabella was truly … missing. My life is so empty withouth her … I miss her and I’ll do everything in my power to get her back. I just hope it isn’t too late.”
