Danny’s heart soared at Kavi’s words, the way they hung in the air between them like a shared secret. He couldn’t help but beam, a teen spirit giddy and in awe taking over. Danny wished he had something quick, meaningful, to say back. Instead, he fumbled with his words. “Thanks,” Some musician I am. “I must be doing something right,” he added, warmth flooding his chest.
“I slept through most of it, honestly. “I’m glad to hear that. To be honest , I’m not completely sure how I’m functioning right now,” he joked. “I can’t say I slept too much. Oh! I don’t mean to pull you away from your friend if you had plans to hang out…?” He let it hang in the air, brows slightly raised.
“Is there anything in particular that you’re excited about?” Danny nodded, looked out at the view, then back to Kavi. “To be honest, I’m hoping this switches up my thinking. I’m hoping to find some inspiration for my upcoming album. It’s been moving…. slower, than I’d like. Than I’m used too. But, I feel like I have the perfect inspiration right now, though.” Danny said, forcing a casualness to his tone. Too casual. “Anyways,” his eyes shifted, almost uncomfortably, before coming back. “How about you? Anything you’ve been dying to do or see in Brazil?”
