When Josie looked into Shaun’s eyes a flashback crossed her mind.
She woke up in a random bed. The sunlight shined through the window bathing the room in a bright yellow, caused her to rub her eyes. Blurriness and strain was what she felt. A headache throbbed her head, beating every second. Her mouth was dry. She definitely drank a lot last night. A memory popped into her mind and she instinctively looked to her left where she saw someone laying on the other side. It was clear that she had probably slept with this person but didn’t know who it could be until she looked closer. It was Shaun Cohen. Her world crashed at that very moment. “oh…god…”
She said while holding her head in agony. She immediately got out of the bed and started getting dressed while a few explicatives flew from her mouth. She saw Shaun stir and knew that she needed to get the hell out of dodge.
Josie snapped back to reality and focused on the absurd scene in front of her.
Beck noticed that Shaun was doing everything possible to make her feel “better” and she couldn’t help but feel that it was adorable…that was until he said something that made her stop in her tracks.
“Shouldn’t Josie sit here?”
Those words ripped through her mind like a hot knife. She imagined herself standing up and yelling at him. How dare he ask me that!? “What?” She asked. Her voice was close to a yell. The woman isn’t even months into her pregnancy yet…She can stand up just fine. Those thoughts filled her mind.
She looked back and forth between Shaun and Josie in deep contemplation, then she sighed dramatically. Even through her act she was fuming with anger. She did not want to talk to him right now. If he wanted to speak to Josie, then so be it. Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind, one that was dangerous yet satisfying. “Fine…but first….” Beck dramatically stood up with another sigh and went in front of Shaun. Then she grabbed his chin and pulled him into a passionate kiss. Her mouth enveloped his, including her tongue that slipped into his mouth. After a few seconds of her passion exploding she pulled away. “Have your talk.” She said while walking out of the room.
Josie looked back and forth between her “friend” who was walking away and then back to Shaun. There was an awkward silence in the room.
She really wanted to get the hell out of here now. “Okay what do you want to talk about Shaun. Yes I’m pregnant but I don’t need to sit down. I’m not that fat yet.”
