Lysander usually wouldn’t know what to say if he’s ever asked what the stupidest thing he heard somebody say is. Probably because most stupid remarks he ever heard were stupid on a similar level so it wasn’t immediately discernible to him which is more stupid than the others. That was the case until now … Now he was in America and people say a lot of stupid sh*t. Just like Gargle here after he made up a proverb to justify believing Greek Mythology is real. Lysander usually wouldn’t engage with people who say such nonesense, but Lysander was interested. He wanted to know what other crazy ideas this nutcase has in his head. Especially when he’s talking about Greek Mythology, literally his neighboring country for most of his life. He speaks Greek and when he was a child he’d be told stories about mythology. To truly enjoy this man’s idiotically funny remarks, he responded in a sarcastic way, hoping the man will just assume he’s being serious and taking interest in what he’s saying. “You know what … You might have something there. Now that I think about it … It’s perfectly plausible that Gorgons existed. Women who have snakes instead of hair who petrify anybody who dares look at them into stone statues isn’t far fetched … It’s completely normal for people to turn to stone. Did you know there was a famous story from the Balkans about people turning to stone? If it’s mentioned in multiple locations it must be true, right?” It took everything to stop Lysander from cracking a snicker or a smile while he was saying this, but something allowed him to keep it together.
