Cole couldn’t help but smile as they waked around hand in hand. He listened to her talk. He was excited to be here with her. He was wondering what this trip might have in store for them. He looked around as they walked. “It is a very beautiful treehouse.” He said with a smile. Then he thought about the next part of what she said. She had asked him about his childhood. “Well, do you want the true story or the happy go lucky one my parents portrayed?” He asked as they slowly walked hand in hand. He didn’t want to give her the details if she didn’t really want them. However, he did want to give her a little while he was talking.
“I will tell you this much though. I was a spoiled kid. My parents gave me everything I wanted to substitute for their absence in my life.” Cole was close with his mom though. Even though she wasn’t there really until he was 15 and he left for the Army at 18. Then while he was in the Army his mom had passed away while he was doing a tour overseas. That was a breaking point for Cole. That is the reason he moved to California in the first place.

Jorge got out the car. He walked up to Isabella’s door. “Well, here we go.” Jorge said as they walked into the house. He was so focused on the road that he didn’t notice that Davit had fallen asleep or jumped awake. Jorge was nervous going into the house. He knew he needed to clean it for Isabella. He didn’t want her to come home to a messy house. He walked in the door. “Come on in!” He said to Davit has he waited just inside the door.

Tommy couldn’t help but chuckle a little when Helen snatched up his bag. “Well Thank you Helen.” He said as he laughed. Then she said they were going to his room first. “Yes ma’am, whatever you want.” He said with a smile as they headed up to their treehouse.
As Tommy stood at his door fiddling with the key to get the door opened, he could feel Helen behind him. As Tommy unlocked the door, he wondered what would be happening on this trip. It was a sweet, nice silence. The silence between them was not awkward. Tommy took a deep breath as he opened the door.
Tommy had actually almost stumbled in the room as he almost tripped over bags. However, he caught himself and hoped Helen didn’t notice. He was partially nervous and partially excited. He looked around the room as he set the bags close to the door for now. It had modern decor and a neatly made bed. Then he noticed a small sitting area that looked inviting and like the perfect place to hang out.
Tommy heard the door shut. His back was turned but he knew Helen had closed the door because of the clicking sound it made. Part of him wondered if she left and shut it or stayed and shut them into the room together. They had been in private settings before, but this one felt different. This one felt more… It felt more intimate to him then their previous private moments.
Tommy took a deep breath before turning around. Half scared to turn around and not see Helen and the other half scared she was still in fact there. There was excitement and fear both running through not just his mind but his body. Tommy slowly turned around. When he saw Helen, he couldn’t help but give her his charming smile that seemed to make people weak in the knees.
She said nice place. Tommy chuckled “It is a nice place. I’m sure yours is lovely too.” He said to her as she leaned against the door. Tommy walked closer almost pinning her in place. Part of Tommy wanted her to stay here with him instead of going to her room. “I’m glad you are here with me though Helen. I really do enjoy time with you.” For Tommy it just felt… it felt right, and it was just so easy with Helen.
Skip to the Dave stuff
Tommy couldn’t help but stare at Helen as the breeze of the night ruffled her hair. For Tommy, that was the perfect picture like moment. He smiled over at her as they stood on the balcony. Tommy felt something when she grinned at him. However, he knew it was a grin about their game they were going to play.
Tommy chuckled as he grabbed a beanbag too. She had said she would destroy him in this game. “Oh, is that so? You really think you will destroy me? I’m the UNO master.” He chuckled as they sat down. Tommy was shuffling and dealing the cards, so he was concentrating. It wasn’t until Helen said “Stay Put” Tommy could tell she was heated about something. So, Tommy looked up and saw she was at the railing looking at something.
So, Tommy quietly walked over to the railing too. So, he could see what she was seeing. Tommy couldn’t believe his eyes. Dave with some girl looking cozy and closely. He wasn’t happy about the public display he was putting on with someone who wasn’t his “girlfriend”. This wouldn’t be good for his or Helen’s image. Tommy got mad as well. Partly because he could tell this was upsetting Helen and partly because he knew if this got out it wouldn’t be good.
Tommy walked closer to Helen. Lightly placing his hand on her shoulder. “I know this can’t be easy to see Helen, but at least the relationship isn’t real with y’all.” He offered hoping this would help. However, at the same time her seeming upset. jealous and hurt… Well, that made Tommy feel maybe she had real feelings for Dave. Maybe just maybe it wasn’t pretend on her part. That had Tommy wonder if he was just imaging all the moments, he thought he and Helen were having over these past few months. Thoughts started racing in his head.
He wanted to be there to comfort Helen. However, at the same time he was suddenly confused and unsure of what to do or how to feel. “I’m always here for you Helen.” Part of Tommy wanted to go down and confront Dave. However, the other part of him just wanted to wrap Helen in a hug and hold her close. Tommy knew she deserved so much better than Dave’s sorry a$$. Then Tommy finally said “Do you want to go down there and confront him? I’ll come with you if so… or we could stay up here and have a few drinks of the alcohol I brought with me.” He just wanted to support her no matter what she decided to do.
