Josie stood in the mirror curling her last few strands of hair into loose waves. When she was done, she grabbed the can of hairspray on the dresser and sprayed her hair all around. Usually, Francisco her assistant would be helping her with these kinds of things but after the Doug situation…she fired him. There was no way she would keep an assistant who slept with her baby daddy while they were still dating! Tonight was a night for new beginnings and fun, and what better way for that to happen than with a girls night out? Josie didn’t have many true friends, just people to gossip with. Due to getting a bit lonely, she decided to try look around Beverly Shores and find some genuine friends for once; To turn over a new leaf if you will. No more eating Cheetos and watching reruns of Maury, tonight was a time to get to know her new friends!
Lucy Smith was the friend she knew longer than the others, even though their friendship was still new. So she figured that Lucy would be somewhat like a cohost. Everyone would get to know each other if they haven’t had the chance to meet yet. She knew Hellen through Tommy, who is her friend, Rayla seemed like a good person to have fun with and Savannah seemed like a sweetheart.
Josie smoothed down her pink sparkly dress and put on some lipstick. Her bump was getting bigger which made her reminisce on the days when she could wear smaller sizes and get away with it. She had sent out invitations to the ladies forgetting Beck…Oh, Beck wasn’t her friend anymore, so she “forgot” on purpose. What a bummer. Well, Beck had stopped producing music for her and now they didn’t talk anymore. As far as she knew, she was in New York anyways.
Josie walked downstairs and began setting up a Charcuterie board. The ladies would be able to nibble on something before going to the club with her.
