Standing in front of her bathroom mirror, she wondered if she should go. The last time she drank, she couldn’t remember the night, but she recalled the morning after. Tommy had reprimanded her about drinking in public and needing to maintain her image. The event was still fresh on her mind.

The sound of running water could be heard in the background, she ignored the source of it as she ran her fingers through her hair. Deep down she wanted to be away from here, yet she always kept coming back. She hated the feeling this place gave off, but she just couldn’t seem to peel herself away. It had reminded her of her childhood homes.

She put on just the bare minimum of makeup, not wanting to over due it. And quickly finished getting herself dolled up before leaving. She sighed as she got into the taxi outside. She wished she had brought her car, but she had left it the night before at her brother’s place. This was probably a better choice for her, at this rate, no one would follow her or know where she was at except her brother. She was glad to be leaving her temporarily boyfriends place.

She felt eager to make new friends. It had been awhile since she had hung out with other females and just enjoyed herself. The best part was not really knowing anyone well enough to know her, so expectations weren’t held so high. She squirmed with excitement in her seat.

It didn’t take long before the taxi rolled up to the address. She got out, adjusted her dress and walked up to the door. She hesitated before ringing the doorbell. Sweat built up on her palms as she tried to calm down. She turned a little, to face the background behind her. It was beautiful. The scene behind her helped calm her nerves.

She turned herself back towards the door when she heard it open. Filled with nervousness and excitement, she smiled as if seeing colors for the first time. The lady before her was dressed beautifully. She felt like she may have over dressed herself a little, but there was no going back.

“Wow! You look absolutely stunning!” she blurted out. “This woman could turn any woman into a lesbian if she had wanted to.” She thought to herself.
