Jorge stood there looking around. Suddenly his phone went off. It was an email from Isla. Who was Isabella’s ex girlfriend. Jorge read the contents and then he forwarded the email to the only person he could think of that could possibly get to the bottom of what was going on. He sent the email to Gurgen. Then decided to text him as well. The email from Isla said Rowan (Isabella’s agent/manager) was acting suspicious.

hey bro, I sent you an email. Check it ASAP!!!

Jorge sighed as he placed his phone back in his pocket. He looked around at the scene in front of him. It wasn’t cleaned yet. It was still just like the day Isabella disappeared. He still couldn’t believe his baby sister is gone now. What was he suppose to do? Him and Davit both were looking around for any kind of a clue.

Feeling pretty proud of the kiss she just planted on Shaun, she walked with a pep in her step, the passions she had still bubbling in her chest. Now all she wanted to do was down a drink so that she could distract herself from her love life and what Josie and Shaun could be talking about. After changing into a long, flowy orange dress she headed downstairs.

Opening the sliding glass door, she stepped out into the humid air, letting the wind flow through her hair. A smile curled her lips amd she let out a deep breath. It was as if she were in a movie…that was until she turned the corner and bumped into someone hard.

It was none other than Ravi, an old friend she hadn’t even seen for so long. She didn’t know she was going to be on this glamping trip and it was like seeing a ghost. “Ravi? Oh my god i’m so sorry.” She noticed that she looked as if she had been crying and her hair was slightly wet.

Instinctively she put a hand on her shoulder. “What happened? Are you okay?” memories of their friendship flickered through the back of her mind like pages flipping in a book. She missed her.

Ravneet

Ravi blinked, momentarily startled as Beck’s voice pulled her from the fog of emotions swirling in her chest. It had been so long since they’d last seen each other that, for a split second, it almost felt unreal. The warmth of Beck’s hand on her shoulder broke through her daze, anchoring her in the moment.

“Ravi? Oh my God, I’m so sorry - are you okay?” Beck’s voice was gentle but laced with concern as she scanned Ravi’s tear-streaked face and noticed her damp hair.

Ravi took a deep breath, straightening her posture slightly. She wasn’t one to spill her heart easily, but something about Beck’s presence, the familiar comfort, made it hard to keep everything bottled up. “Beck… it’s been a while,” she said softly, her voice carrying a weight she hadn’t fully processed.

Her lips pressed into a tight line before she spoke again. “My marriage… it’s over. It’s been falling apart for months now, and I kept hoping we’d find our way back. But the truth is… he wasn’t there. Not really.” Her voice steadied, though her eyes shimmered with unshed tears. “I’ve been alone for so long, even when he was right there.”

She glanced away for a moment, the enormity of the situation weighing on her shoulders. But then she looked back at Beck, her expression shifting, more vulnerable yet firm. “And it’s not just him, Beck. I’m not innocent in this.” She paused, her jaw tightening briefly before she let the words slip. “Tonight, I kissed someone else.”

There was no regret in her voice, only a quiet resolve. “It wasn’t impulsive or reckless. It felt… right. More right than anything has felt in a long time. Like I could finally breathe again.” She let out a shaky exhale, her hand lifting to brush a stray lock of hair from her face.

“I don’t regret it. Not for a second. But that doesn’t change the fact that I crossed a line. And maybe that’s what scares me the most - that I’m willing to cross lines now. But I’ve been disconnected for so long, Beck, and with him… it felt like something I lost a long time ago.” Her eyes searched Beck’s, not for judgment but for understanding.

“It’s complicated. Messy. But for the first time in forever, I felt like me again.” Ravi let out a deep breath she didn’t realise she’d been holding, signaling that she’s finally allowing herself to feel lighter, more at peace with her emotions. A small, almost nostalgic smile to touched her lips, showing that while the situation is complicated, there was genuine joy in finding herself again, even if just for a fleeting moment.

Davit stayed close to Jorge, not sure what could be used as a clue. He scanned the walls. He felt surprisingly calm about this, despite the fact that someone he cared for was missing, and possibly hurt…seeing the blood marks on the walls made him sure she was indeed hurt…
He stretched out his arm to place his hand over the blood print, but stopped himself from actually touching it. He didn’t want to ruin any evidence. His mind raced with images of the event that had taken place here. Without much realization, he groaned, angered by the thoughts that seemed to be working against him. “Hey Jorge. I just had a thought…” he paused as he crouched down to look at a torn piece of paper that wasn’t relevant. “how come Isabella’s kidnapping haven’t been all over the news?” .

Beck looked at Ravi as she talked, her eyes darting back and forth between Ravi’s while her eyebrows were pulled into a frown. “Wait wait wait, slow down.” She grabbed her other shoulder and continued to look in Ravi’s eyes. Her eyes were filled with worry and it pained Beck to see her that way. “So you’re saying that you’re married and you kissed someone?”

Beck didn’t enjoy seeing that the Ravneet who was confident and fun to talk to was standing in front of her with sad eyes and wet hair. She missed the Ravneet who’s eyes lit up when talking about her travels and fashion. It made Beck slightly angry and she wanted to know who this husband was that broke her heart, to the point that she had to kiss some random guy.

“I didn’t even know you were married.” Beck said. She blinked and looked at the ground, still holding her shoulders strongly. “Who was the guy you kissed? I want to give your husband a piece of my mind for making you be in so much pain.” Adrenaline coursed through her body as she looked around the pool above Ravi’s head.

Beck was the kind of person who enjoyed gossip but when it came to any friends she had, old or new, the protective instinct always kicked in. It was something she always prided herself in. Being a good friend…well at least most times. “Let’s go sit down and talk about this.” She grabbed her wrist, not bothering to wait for an answer. Then she slid the glass door to the left and stepped in. Orange couches filled the room which added to the tropical environment. There was also a tv in front of the couches and a bar area, but thankfully the bartender wasn’t there to hear their conversation. “I’m so sorry you’re feeling this horrible in Brazil of all places!” Beck said after sitting down. She patted the other couch cushion, gesturing for Ravi to sit down.

Going towards bar | Alone

Dave didn’t want to be the third wheel in a fight with two strangers, so he backed away from Ravi and Ezra. He didn’t know why he even said anything, he could’ve just dissapeared, but being in the situation, he felt nervous and guilty and he wanted to do anything so he wouldn’t have to see pain on Ravi’s face anymore. But what came to his mouth was a wor vomit that was completely the opposite of what he feels, and he had no idea why when he opened his mouth, that was what came out. He knew a milisecond before he said it but when it was already to late to stop talking, that he would regret saying that. He regretted it as soon as he said it and saw their facial expressions.
As he backed away, he felt something close to heartbreak but a much, much milder version. There stood a married woman who awoke somethign in him, a passion that was slowly dissepating since Evie and him ended things, and now he had to leave her to go back to her husband.
As he was leaving he heard her say “He’s wrong” and when he heard that he took his time leaving so he could hear the rest. “That kiss… it wasn’t just fear or relief. It was real, Ezra. And I don’t know what that means …” Was all that he managed to hear as he was leaving, but he could get the sentiment of the rest of the sentence he didn’t catch. With her words his regret for saying anything in the first place doubled.

When he reached the bar he didn’t wait a second to take out his phone to search for Ravi’s name in order to find some contact. He didn’t know what he was doing just that he wanted to have a way of talking to her and he knew he wanted to stay in contact with her. What he didn’t realize was that his phone was completely drenched in water for a very long time. The phone was dripping with water and it was completely shut off. He felt dred wash over him as he realized that Helen or Tommy could’ve tried reaching him while his phone was full of water, and not answering back could make them both angry with him. But then he realized they didn’t respond to him first and him not answering for a legitimate reason once when they didn’t respond several times should make him angry with them.
Just in order to know if he was in trouble, he turned his phone on and hope he could see from the open screen if there was any notification from either a text or a call from either Helen or Tommy.
When the phone opened, it displayed the screen which showed there was no new notifications, and to Dave’s surprise it lasted long enough for him to unlock his phone. When he did that just, out of curiosity, it opened on the text app in the gorup chat where he previously tried to reach Helen and Tommy.

Then the phone crashed, obviously, due to the water damage. He wasn’t able to do anything on that phone, but the screen was on long enough for him to notice something. All of the messages he sent … were left on READ.
He put his phone away, not knowing how to fix it, but leaving it to be fixed. He turned to the bartender and said “If Helen Bannarasee looks for me, tell her my phone got destroyed and that I’ll talk to her in OUR room.” And left for his suite.

@eunoia
@ChayChay05

TLDR: His phone got destroyed due to water damage but he did manage to see you guys read ALL of his messages and ignored him. His phone was already shut down as Helen tried to call him so he won’t be able to get that phone call, he’s heading to his suite when she calls him (it’s up to you if Helen wants a public shout out, in this case she’ll reach him before he goes to the bedroom, or if she wants this to be private and finds out the info where he is from the bartender and to discuss stuff there … I’m fine with them having a dramatic public argument if you like, and I’m also fine with them keeping their integrity by making this argument be private)

Just like it’s getting harder to see you and Dave together even though I know it isn’t real.” Tommy huffed out. Helen honestly felt embarrassed, even if what Dave and herself did was purely part of her job. “These feelings… well honestly, I’ve had them for some time now.” Helen tilted her head, genuinely curious. “How long?” She asked, words gentle.

He had kissed her cheek. Helen’s heart fluttered like a butterfly in spring, her cheeks blooming a rosy pink as she took in the moment. There they were, inches apart, the world around them fading into a soft blur of colors and sounds. Could it be? The thrill of his touch lingered like magic in the air, and she felt that familiar rush of exhilaration in the pit of her stomach. There was something undeniably electric about Tommy’s gaze, something both playful and serious that set her heart dancing.

She couldn’t help but smirk a little. Who knew the ‘bossy’ manager had a shy streak? But that was Tommy for you—always the one with that gentle restraint, that careful consideration, like he was afraid she might break. But oh, how she wanted to stir the pot just once…. Just a little bit.

With a playful glint in her eye, she steadied herself, taking a deep, courageous breath as she dared to punctuate the air between them with her boldness. Why keep it at a cheek kiss? Determined to embrace this delightful chaos, Helen leaned in just slightly, allowing all her emotions to soar free. She brushed her lips against his, drawing nearer until—the world melted into a sugary whirl of passion.

As their lips met, she felt fireworks explode in the depths of her heart—a sweet, whimsical rush filled with wild possibilities. “What took you so long?” she teased, her voice breathy and infused with that signature cheekiness that always had him wrapped around her little finger.

His nervousness seemed to melt away like ice in the sun, replaced by the intoxicating thrill of their shared secret. Helen could feel her pulse racing. The entire room hummed with unspoken promises. She pulled him in closer, wrapping her arms around his neck, her spirit soaring as she shattered the barriers he’d hesitated to cross. She kissed him again, only this time, it was deeper, passionate, and oh-so-knowing.

Helen marched with purpose, three inch heels clicking against the polished wood like a staccato beat to her frustration. Her long, sleek hair bounced with each determined stride, framing a face that radiated confidence despite the storm brewing inside.

This whole fake dating arrangement was supposed to be simple—easy publicity for their upcoming movie, a chance to show the world they were the “It” couple. But clearly, someone didn’t get the memo.

With her phone clutched tightly in her hand, she tried Dave’s number, but it rang out, just like her patience for his antics. “Great. Just great,” she muttered under her breath, brushing aside a few stray hairs as she navigated through the once upon a time charming treehouse—pasting on an unbothered expression that hardly masked the storm brewing inside her.

Tommy had really thrown a wrench in things earlier that day when they confessed their mutual feelings in a secret, electrifying moment. She should have let that thought carry her, but any romantic daydreams shattered as images of Dave and that mysterious girl replayed in her mind. She couldn’t focus on what might be blossoming with Tommy when Dave was out here ruining her image for some cheap clout.

As she approached the pool area, she noticed something unsettling—the vibrant atmosphere that had filled the air just moments ago was eerily quiet. Her heart raced as she stepped closer, searching for any sign of him. The sun glared down, highlighting the empty chairs scattered around the pool, and there were no lingering people, just the remnants of laughter that seemed to mock her.

Helen threw her hands up, turning back to Tommy with a huff. “I guess let’s start inside?” She suggested, already heading in.

Hey, are you… Ms. banna—ba—ar,”Helen didn’t have time for him to stumble out her name “Helen Bannarasee? Yes, I am.” Her voice was clipped, not usually how she would generally talk to someone who recognized her. “A Dave De Haas said his phone was destroyed. He’s going to your guys’ room, ma’am.” He said, pointing to the exiting figure of Dave. Helen’s eyes shone with something like—reprisal. She smiled at the bartender, offering a “thank you so much,” jogging over to him.

“Dave! Dave, hey!” She called after him, praying he would stop and turn around.

Jorge and Davit searched the house. They started in the living room or course. Jorge was almost in tears at the sight of everything. He couldn’t believe his baby sister, hell his only sister was still missing after two weeks. He tried to think what possibly could have happened to her. He knew the outcome might not be good since it had been two weeks. He was in his own thoughts when he heard Davit speak snapping him back to reality. “What’s that Davit?” Jorge asked at Davit’s thought. Jorge watched Davit crouch down. It was a question a lot of people had asked. The article was supposed to be coming out today. “Well, we paid to keep it out the media. However, now that it has been two weeks… Well, the article should be in the paper today.” Jorge’s eyes filled with tears as he spoke.

Lucy and Steven were having a shockingly good time. Lucy had decided to try and go to the sauna. She told Steven to get them another round of drinks while she went to go see if the room was empty. Lucy walked with a drink in her hand determined to get some steamy alone time with her husband. She smirked at herself as she walked with confidence. She reached the sauna and knocked. She didn’t want to just walk in. What if people were in there or worse. What if people we were doing things in there other than relaxing. She definitely didn’t want to walk in on someone in a moment like that.

Tommy felt the sparks flying between him and Helen as they stood there confessing their feelings for each other. He still couldn’t believe Helen actually had the feelings too. Helen actually liked him. Not just has her manager, and friend, but something more. Shockingly Quincy was far from his mind in this moment. He had been dying to have a moment like this for some time now. He smiled the two inches down at her as he replied to her question. “Honestly… Well, I would have to say for at least two or three months now. I’ve been trying to not act on them. However, they just keep growing stronger… no matter what I do.” He said being totally transparent.

He smiled big as her cheeks went to a rosy pink after he kissed her cheek. Oh, how he wanted more than that with her. He knew though that in the eyes of media she had a boyfriend. So, he had to refrain himself. As they stood there lost in time. Tommy wanted to take her hand in his and just run away together, or even just beg her to stay here with him instead of staying with Dave.

Tommy felt the electricity between them. If it was this electric just standing closely and kissing her on the cheek… How electric would it be if they actually kissed. He got a little nervous as he saw her take a deep breath. He then saw her lean forward. Their lips crashing together gently. As their lips touched boy did, he feel not only the sparks flying but the electricity between them. He never knew something could feel this great.

Her words after they backed away slowly from each other made him focus again at where they were and what they were doing. “What took you so long?” she teased him. “Well, if I’m being honest… I’ve been wanting to do that for months. However, it just didn’t seem right given the whole PR thing going on.” He finished talking right as she made their lips meet again.

This time the kiss was deeper and more passionate. He decided to wrap his arms around her. He gently picked her up off the floor slightly as they kissed. It was like they were the only two people in the whole world. He propped her up against the door as they kissed. He could tell they both wanted more. However, now was not the time nor the place for this. So, as bad as he wanted to continue this romantic moment with what seemed like the perfect woman. He knew it had to stop before they got carried away. So, he pulled away and gently set her down. Then pecked her lips on last time before they went to the balcony to play a game of UNO.

Tommy marched right beside Helen. Not only because he knew Helen needed someone to save her from the embarrassment coming, but to be there for her when everything came crashing down. Once they got to the pool area nobody was there anymore. Tommy figured he had gone to the bar anyways. However, Helen was faster than he could be. “I guess let’s start inside?”

Helen said that has she headed into the treehouse. “Yes ma’am.” He called out to her as she headed in before he could really say anything. Tommy probably looked like a lost puppy following her at the heels. As they approached the bar. The bartender started to speak. Helen cut him off from saying her last name. Tommy just stood there watching and listening.

He had spotted Dave walking out as the bartender spoke. Helen jogged over to Dave. Tommy was not going to be jogging with her. So, instead he walked over slowly to give them at least a moment to speak. He knew it wasn’t a far walk from the bar to the space Dave was at. However, he didn’t want to look a certain way to everyone here. Plus, Tommy knew he should probably hang back a little because he didn’t want Dave to sense the awkwardness that was there on his part since his and Helen’s kiss early.

He clung to the corner piece of the paper as he stood up and continued to follow closely to Jorge. The piece of paper had no value in his eye, but he just needed something to hold onto. “Well, we paid to keep it out the media. However, now that it has been two weeks… Well, the article should be in the paper today.”

After a minute had passed, Davit handed the corner piece of paper over to Jorge. “wouldn’t it had benefited you if you had reached out sooner? I mean I’m pretty sure kidnapping has like…two outcomes… They’re held for ransom and returned safely, or…” . He trailed off. He couldn’t bring himself to finish it but had hoped Jorge would have picked up on it… “I’m going to send a text out to Gurgen…” .

He stepped off to the side, pulled out his phone and hesitated for a couple of minutes. Many emotions swirled inside of him, worried, scared, excitement, anxious. This would be his first time reaching out to his brother in what felt like a lifetime ago. Part of him worried Gurgen turned out like their father, while the other part of him hoped he had gotten out of that toxicness and improved himself like he had. But he knew all to well that hopefulness never turned out the way he wished it.

Looking back, he could see Jorge was struggling with his sister’s kidnapping. He had recalled in his childhood memory that Jorge had always been strong, it seemed impossible to break him. Davit may not have been close with Jorge but even he knew, this was his hell. He wanted to reach out and help lessen Jorge’s burden, but he held himself back. Not entirely sure how to help him. He sighed and hang his head down. “such is life I suppose” he mumbled to himself as he turned his attention back to his phone. Tapped a few buttons and sends it off to Gurgen. He wished it was under better circumstances that he was reaching out, but as he said, such is life.

After hitting send, he turns around and makes his way back over to Jorge. Seeing Jorge’s serious face, he wanted to lighten the mood, “Do you remember that time when Isabella had gotten stuck in that tree behind the house?”

Blake stood in front of the sauna door with his arms crossed over his robe. On one hand, he wanted to ignore whoever was at the door and continue to indulge in his escapade with Marco, but on the other hand the moment they were in was already interrupted. With a sigh, he opened the door. The hot mist of the sauna room escaped through the door crack, enveloping the person standing there…who happened to be Lucy. Her piercing blue eyes met his which caused him to blink in shock. Then his eyes started watering. "Lucy?"He instinctively looked over his shoulder to where Marco was and saw that he was in full view of the door crack. He was barely covered up, just now starting to put his robe back on. He looked at Lucy again and sighed, running his hand through his hair which he usually did when he was nervous or f#cked something up.

His mind was so fogged with lust for Marco and the sauna mist that he didn’t prepare for this to happen. Even though Lucy didn’t belong to him, he still felt as if he was caught. He wondered if Steven was right around the corner somewhere. “You wanted to see if the sauna was open? I scheduled it so it must be a mixup.” He wanted to smile at least a little to pretend everything was fine but he couldn’t. His eyes just wandered down to Lucy’s shoes and he noticed that she looked amazing in that cowgirl outfit, but that was besides the point.

Natalie nodded. [color=violet]”Yeah, I can see that. It’s just a letter off. I’m pretty sure there have been people with the last name Champion. I think there was a Jane Champion somewhere…”[\color] Nat started googling again, before shaking her head. ”Wait, nope. Same spelling as you. She’s a film maker from New Zealand.” Typing again, she hummed. ”Though, I have found at least five celebrities with the last name Champion. Interesting.” Nat shrugged. ”I mean, it’s possible. Personally, I’m a realist, and it’s possible that someone was jealous of you and set you up. I don’t mean to scare you, I’m sorry. I’m just trying to think of every option that could’ve happened. A they were waling and drinking and she asked about his family or childhood, she took another sip waiting. He then answered with “It is a very beautiful treehouse.” and “Well, do you want the true story or the happy go lucky one my parents portrayed?” but before he could answer her question he said “I will tell you this much though. I was a spoiled kid. My parents gave me everything I wanted to substitute for their absence in my life.”

His answers helped her a little. She was not sure if he answered her the way he did because that is what he is most comfortable divulging or if he was just going to quickly answer her question. “Well I was going to say the true story, but that works to a little base level for now. But you came from money then? And I am sorry that they were absent from your life, but sometimes not having parents in your life can be a good thing as well. But as a kid I bet it wasn’t going to be good either way. Still sorry you had to go through that though.”

Savannah then took another sip of her drink and to think if he wanted to know more about her life or family what she would tell him. She isn’t sure if she would tell him some basic quick information or just delve in and tell him she doesn’t talk to her parents and she cut them out of her life.

“I mean, it’s possible. Personally, I’m a realist, and it’s possible that someone was jealous of you and set you up. I don’t mean to scare you, I’m sorry. I’m just trying to think of every option that could’ve happened.” Faust would usually hate being reminded of the incident, but today was somewhat different. “Oh that’s all right.” He responded. “Somehow the way you talk about the incident is different. If I didn’t already feel bad enough about it before, people would always bring me even further down with their sympathies and their pity. I know they’re sincerely sorry and they all mean it in a nice way, I just always felt that being pitied, even for something that isn’t your fault, always made you feel worse. You sort of let me know how sorry you were about the incident, not coming of unfeeling, but doing so in a way that didn’t make me feel any worse.” When shee said she was trying to think of every option that could’ve happened, he gave her one of those smile you give when you find something funny or ironic, but not enough for an actual laugh or a full on smile. He backed that short smile with the words “Trust me, Natalie. I’ve been thinking of who could’ve done it for months now and didn’t come to any conclusions yet. I’ve stopped because it made me obsessed with it in a bad way and made me feel even more anxious.” She leaned across the table to pat him on the shoulder, which felt a bit awkward. He liked the sentiment of her triyng to comfort him, but he didn’t know how to respond to that. He was about to say an awkard thank you, which would’ve been horrible to say, but she saved him by saying “Disney musical? Sure, I can totally help with that, no problem. Do you want my number?” Faust was about to respond by saying yes, but he realized they were still talking to each turning around on their chairs from their own tables. “Of course I would love to work with you, but … If we’re going to talk business, how about you join my table so we can talk face to face? Have a drink on my account, I hate drinking alone.” He invited her to join his table, having liked her so far, and wanting to keep the conversation going. He did want her number, but he felt as if him talking so much about this he sort of pushed her into a corner where she would have to say yes or sure to him to get him of her back. That’s why he’d rather give her his number so that she can decide if she wants to help him or not. That way he’ll be sure she wants this and not because he pushed her into this. Anyways, he’d rather get her number for social and not business reason, and that way he’ll know she gave her number becuase she wanted to be more than business colleagues … Such as friends or more if it gets to it. “I think I’d preffer if I gave you my number, so that you can call me when you’re free and willing and then we can set something up.”

“What were you going to say?” The question honestly caught Danny off guard. His team always did there very best to hear him out, and he truly appreciated it, but his parents seemed to consider his answer a one and done type of thing. Spit it out or suck it up. But in the kindest way.

“Oh! Uh…” He shrugged, struggling for words. “Can I just… blurt it out? I—I’m not sure how to say it,” he said sheepishly, his eyes crinkling in pre-embarrassment. “Is… is it okay to joke that you’re deaf? I didn’t want to laugh—because I hadn’t found it funny—but should I have? Is it like… a coping thing? Oh my gosh, not that you have to cope because you’re deaf!” His cheeks blazed red. He squeezed his eyes shut. “I can’t believe I just said that out loud,” Danny admitted, looking at Kavi through one opened eye.

*”Watching you write would be amazing.” Danny couldn’t help but smile wider, tiny sparks of joy dancing in his chest. “Maybe I’ll record you writing. I brought my 16mm camera. We wouldn’t be able to see it until we get back and I can develop it but it’s my favourite way to film in terms of aesthetics. Perfect for a process film.” He imagined the two of them sitting together while the sun dipped low on the horizon, casting warm golden rays over Kavi’s focused face. “I’d love that. I have to admit I don’t know what a process film is, though.”

“We should definitely try some food together.” Danny nodded along, pulling his phone out. “Oh my gosh, yes! Absolutely!” he came to stand side by side with Kavi, opening his notes app. There were many—okay, thousands—of notes, sparsely labeled. Mostly half lyrics and rhymes, lists and locked secrets. But as if already knowing exactly where the specific information he needed was, Danny open an unlabeled note and scrolled out in one quick swipe. It was the quickest. He scrolled up a little, before a section named “Brazil :brazil: Food” where names and pictures were stacked on top of each other.

Danny finally looked over at Kavi. “I mostly just googled common foods, but these four we have to try before we leave.” he said, scrolling through the pictures, names, and short descriptions he had pasted from the internet.

An image of them sharing a plate overflowing with colorful Brazilian dishes danced through his mind, vibrant and lively just like the music he loved. He hoped it would be one of those moments that felt like a secret between just the two of them, wrapped in the golden glow of the sun setting over the beach.

Danny’s gaze drifted over to a nearby corner of the treehouse, where a colorful set of beanbags rested, vibrant against the sleek wood. An idea sparked in his mind, warm and inviting like the afternoon sun. “Kavi, look over there,” he said, pointing with an exaggerated excitement. “I think they’re calling our names—like they want a showdown or something?” he waggled his eyebrows at Kavi.

As they walked over to the game, Danny tossed a curious glance at Kavi. “Just a heads up—you might want to practice your victory dance. Or at least give me a few practice rounds.” Danny couldn’t help but chuckle, delight bubbling within him.

Jorge knew Davit probably saw him struggling. However, Jorge in this moment didn’t care. He just really missed Isabella and didn’t understand who could have taken her or why. He racked his brain trying to think of what could have happened and who could have taken her. Jorge was stuck in his own world till Davit’s words pulled him back to the reality. “Do you remember that time when Isabella had gotten stuck in that tree behind the house?”

Jorge couldn’t help but chuckle as Davit said this. Jorge replied “She was so scared” He then got pulled into the memory of this incident.
Jorge was ten, Davit and Gurgen were nine and Isabella was eight. Gurgen and Jorge dared Isabella to climb the tree. They were teasing her saying she couldn’t do it. Well, little Isabella wouldn’t take that lightly. She proved them wrong and climbed up the tree. However, once she got up in the tree she looked down and was too scared to come down. She felt it was so far off the ground. She was up pretty far in the tree though. Almost as high as the roof was.

Jorge chuckled as he spoke "She was so scared. I mean she couldn’t have been more than what? Eight years old? She was like five feet in the air and refused to climb back down. she held the tree trunk till the firemen got there. That was a good memory.

Lucy stood there for what felt like forever waiting on to see if it was occupied. To her surprise it was Blake Palamo who opened the door. “Hey you.” She said before he said her name. When he said her name, it was like he was shocked and surprised that she was here while he was here or something. Her eyes were glued on Blake looking sexy in his robe. It wasn’t until he looked over his shoulder that she noticed he in fact wasn’t alone. The man sitting on the bench in the sauna was barely covered up.

Lucy stood there in shock. She didn’t know how to respond to this or what to say or do. However, she stood there with a good ole smile on her face like nothing was wrong. She almost forgot that the guy was in the sauna when Blake ran his hand though his hair. He looked so sexy and welcoming to her. All she wanted to do in this moment was kiss him. However, she knew he had been busy with whatever the guy’s name was.

Lucy was lost in her own thoughts. Then Blake spoke “You wanted to see if the sauna was open? I scheduled it so it must be a mixup.” Lucy shook the thoughts of her and Blake out her head. She then responded “Yeah, well on the books it didn’t say it was booked. So, I came to knock to see if anyone was in here. I’m sorry for the interruption. I’ll let you get back to whatever or whoever you were doing.” She said with a confidence like whatever what happening in that room didn’t bother her at all. She smiled at him but couldn’t move her feet. Part of her wanted him to shut the door in her face.

Cole smiled at her. “I could still tell you the true story. I just wanted to answer a little bit before knowing if you wanted the true story or the one my parents showed.” He chuckled. He looked into her eyes. “Well, everyone goes through things in their life. I’m sure you have some stories too. I mean them being gone a lot did have its advantages, but it was kind of sucky at the same time.” He then took a sip of his drink.

Cole wanted to know more about Savannah. He looked to her “I would like to know more about your family. Well, whatever you are willing to tell me.” He said with a smile on his face.

“As for my family… My father was a CEO of a company or something. I mean he is retired now. My mom was lawyer. I started staying at home alone at ten years old. To everyone we looked like the picture-perfect family. However, behind closed doors it was a different story. My mom would work let so she wasn’t home till like nine at night or later. My dad usually was home shortly after dinner. I remember when I was fifteen. I was about to join a gang. My dad found out and he beat me. He said that it would have been worse than that if I had joined a gang. I guess he wanted to teach me a lesson. After that is when I joined ROTC at school. I mean until I was ten it was good. After that it went downhill. I only stayed there for my mom after that incident.” He couldn’t believe he just blurted all that out. he really hoped nobody else overheard him though.

Rayla has purposely told her brother, Tommy, that she had no plans to go on the clamping trip. But little did he know, she had her bag packed and hidden away. Just waiting for the perfect time. A couple of hours had passed by since he left. She was laying on the couch getting lost on the Facy-Yook. So many faces she knew and didn’t care for lit her screen with personal life quotas and pictures. Turning off her screen, she sighed. Resting her arms on her forehead.

Glancing at the time, she decided it had been long enough of a wait. She practically flow to her room for her bags and put the door without any hesitation. Got in her car, instructed the driver to take her to the airport post hast. And they were off.

-TIME SKIP-

The whole trip she was on and off her phone, debating on seeing how her brother was, but she never did sent out the text. Because of her indecisive decision, it helped the time fly by. While she was relaxing in the car, she wondered about her brother, would he be surprised by her suddenly changing her mind? Would they be able to create fun memories?

Sighing, she glanced out the window. Trees and bushes passed by. They were clearly near by. She could see it in the close distance. She glanced down, forgetting what outfit she had put on this morning. The plaid shirt she wore was opened to reveal the white shirt underneath it. Her leggings and Her boots . She felt that her outfit had really shown off her figure, quickly she buttoned up the plaid shirt to be more modest.

She grabbed her bag and got out of the car. She wasn’t entirely sure the difference between the two building, nor did she knew which building her brother was in. “inni mini miny moe” she went on, this was her way to help her decide which one she’d go in. Her finger moved from building to building as she went on. After she finished, her finger was pointing at the Crown. Smiling, she picked up her bag and headed into the Crown. Feeling ready to surprise her big brother. It took her a couple of minutes to locate him. She placed her bag by the door of the entrance and slowly walked up behind him. Watching her every step on the way over. As she inched closer to him, she slowed her breathing. Keeping an eye on her shadow to make sure NOTHING gave her away. But as luck would have it, just as she was only a few steps away, she trips, landing hard on the ground followed by an “oof!” . Her attempt to scare her brother ended in vain. Her pride was hurt and she couldn’t help but sniffle at this.

He laughs, he wasn’t there when the dare was made, but he managed to arrive shortly after Isabella had gone up it. At the time he had left her alone to go fetch some nail polish from her house. When he arrived he saw his brother and Jorge looking up the tree. He slowly looked over at what they were looking at in horror. Isabella was in the tree and had looked terrified. He had rushed over to get under her in case she fell, he’d catch her. . The worries back than seemed so minuscule now. He smiled a bit, happy they could both share this moment. He looks at Jorge, fully serious. “we will find her.” . This was a promise to not only to himself, but to the world. They would be the ones to find her and bring her back safely.

Heading towards the general direction of his suite, just seconds after leaving instructions with the bartender, he heard his name being called over with a harsh tone. He recognized the voice as Helen’s by the spiking of his arm hair into goosebumps. He turned around to face her, knowing she was approaching.
He saw her running to catch up to where he was, following the wet trail of pool water he was leaving behind as Tommy slowly followed her. Dave didn’t know she saw him, but the angry determined face led him to believe she knew. He panicked and immediately found a way to fix it because she drew attention to herself by almost running to him. He figured if he hugged her immediately as she reached him it would look like she ran to him because she was excited to see him and he reciprocated and people wouldn’t assume anything was wrong. But he didn’t want to do that, especially not if Ravi would be able to see him and assume he really meant that he kiss meant nothing. So he just stood there and waited for her to reach him, knowing full well people will more likely catch on they are fighting.
He knew he messed up, but he also had a reason to be angry with Helen and Tommy. He furrowed his brows a little to show he’s also displeased with them he teased with his next sentence. “Long time no see.”

“Long time no see.” Long time… no see? Long time no see! Helen took a deep breath, squeezing her eyes shut for a moment. Once she opened them, she plastered a smile on her face. She realized just then how patient Luna really was.

“Long time no see, huh? That’s rich coming from you,” Helen said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She stepped closer, her heels clicking sharply against the slick floor, the sound echoing like a warning bell. She knew she should have just kept walking, telling him they were having a meeting in their room.

“You don’t get to look annoyed at me for being upset when you’re the one making out with random girls at a pool while I’m supposed to be your date. Do I look like I was born yesterday? This isn’t a game for me, Dave.” She said, tone low as to not grab anyone’s attention. Helen took a step back, crossing her arms as she surveyed him, wet hair clinging to his forehead.

Helen scoffed lightly, rolling her eyes as she flicked a stray strand of hair over her shoulder. “You know what? If you wanted to be free to do whatever you wanted, you could have just told me. I can handle the truth. But this?” She gestured between them with a wave of her hand “This is just pathetic, especially if the public sees,” She knew she was speaking from the place of red hot anger. She wasn’t being professional, not holding herself how she wanted to perceived. Helen took a deep breath, steadied her voice, and commanded focus. “You know what, I didn’t mean to say this here. We’re going to the room for a meeting,” She looked over her shoulder at Tommy.

Lysander

Gurgen kept on talking, and Lysander was trying to hold in his laughter as Gugen got excited someboy believed in aliens alongside him. Gurgen must not have even realized Lysander was actually mocking him the entire conversation. When Gurgen said “I believe they are hiding something below pyramids, like a device or a ship or something.” Lysander bit his cheek to stop him from bursting out laughing. It was going well for him until Gurgen said “Hell you or I could even be an alien.” which broke Lysander’s resolve and left him bursting out laughing. He wanted to say ‘I’m sorry it’s just too funny’ to Gurgen, but he didn’t have anything to apologize for because he didn’t think it was his fault Gurgen was embarrased by the stupid things he says, and if he is, it’s his own fault for it. “From all the things you said to me tonight, I can only get behind one idea of yourse and that’s the fact you think you could be an alien. I believe you could be one too considering you don’t follow the rules of common sense or logic.” Lysander thought for a split second. "You even don’t follow the very rule you yourself set a few minutes earlier. Let me explain … You were just laughing at the idea of people being named after fictional characters, but when it was revealed you were named after Gorgons, which are mostl believed to never have existed and being entierly ficticious, you said that … and I quote ‘Stories are bits of truth that have been twisted as time went by.’ And by that logic, stories such as ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Lord of the Rings’ or ‘Pride and Prejudice’ are all truth enough to be considered as real as Greek Mythology. By that logic, fictional names don’t exist and being named Aragorn is the same as being named Gurgen or a plain name such as Marc." Lysander smiled at Gurgen while insulting him with this next sentence. “I don’t know if you’re a really odd guy, or if you’re just too stupid not to contradict everythign you say or stand for, but despite it all this conversation is the funniest thing ever and I’ve never laughed this much since joining the army. And I’ve met some cooks in the army, let me tell you … Oh but you outdo all of them easily.” Lysander knew the difference between idiots in America and everywhere else is that idiots in America aren’t shamed for their stupid ideas and he hated when stupid people were confident in their idiotic ideas thinking they were smart. He hated morons in charge and he loved taking confident morons down a peg to realize they weren’t the brightest. Even though he laughed quite hard, his favorite part of the interaction was insulting him. No matter what Gurgen did or said or how he responded would make Lysander regret his decision to insult him like this. He looked at the bartender to order a drink, hoping that ignoring Gurgen and not giving him a chance to respond back with something stupid would let him enjoy it longer, but something else caught his attention. At the other end of the bar there was what looked to be a broken man. Lysander didn’t know what happened to him, nor did he see his face, but the way he hung his head low and had slightly disheveled hair told him he was in distress, but not drunk. Lysander could tell the difference as he saw both states in himself. He was always bothered by people’s sadness and sorrow and whenever he saw somebody broken, he would always have the strongest desire to help them, and it was the same in this situation.
