He was shocked that he actually told her he loved her. Not that it was a lie, he just imagine saying those words under a different circumstances. Blood was rushing to his head, causing his face to turn red. Panic started to set in from the fear of being rejected that he continued on talking.
"I still cannot give you the world, but my world has always been yours. he had turned a deep shade of red from embarrassment. “I’ve always been in love with you since we were kids.” Feeling like he was seeing stars dancing around his head, he still rambled on. "when our parents took us all to acting class, that was when I knew. No one but you held my heart! I wanted to be on stage with you but saw the way others had looked at you. I knew I could not complete with some but I could at least be by your side no matter what would happen.
He finally took a deep breath of air, that he had neglected while rambling one. Once he was able to get his breathing under control, he looked at her, all serious.
"Pixie, you are my world, you are the light in the darkness. The flowers that stimulate the nose. he took a moment to caress her cheek with his thumb. I love you. You and you alone are the one I hold dear to my heart."
Lucy had turned around to look at Josie for an answer and realized she had left the three in the living room. Lucy looked to the two girls and smiled big. “Okay, so we will play two truths and a lie.” She said as she thought about what to say for this game. She sat down and had a drink in her hand. She thought for a few moments. “I will start.” She said then took a sip of her drink. She looked back at the ladies. “Okay, so… let’s see. Sorry, I haven’t played this game in a long time.” She giggled as she thought for another minute. Then she had her ideas. “I have four kids, I hate bananas, I’m allergic to peanuts.” She smiled at them and waited.
As she waited for them to say which they thought was the lie, she decided to check her phone. She couldn’t help but smile as she saw a message from Blake. Her smile grew bigger as she read his message. She thought of what she could possibly say back to him.
Well it’s girl’s night out. So, I’m sure it will be fun… I know however it would be more fun with you sexy. I’m sure you look handsome as per usually. You have fun as well.
She hit send before she could change her mind. Tonight was definitely about having fun and letting loose. She wondered if she should send him one of the other pics she had taken earlier in the night. She decided to send him one more.
Savannah said to Josie “Hey maybe I can help get you into acting. I mean I am an actress and acted my whole life almost so maybe I can help. Also you should reach out to Tommy he can also help with that as well, plus I think he is looking for new clients anyways.” She finished her sentence and then Josie ended up walking away and going to talk to Helen. But before Helen left she did advise Lucy, Rayla and her that they can play two truths and a lie. As Helen walked away Savannah sat down and started to eat a little of the Chacuterie board and Lucy started the game. She then listed the options of the two truths and a lie stating “I have four kids, I hate bananas, I’m allergic to peanuts."
Savannah thinks for a moment o what she thought could be a lie. It’s possible that she could have 4 kids but she also looks super young so she would be a young mom. The hate bananas could be true as well as the allergy. “I am going to say that the four kids is a lie. I don’t know why, I just can’t picture you with four kids right now.”
Isabella watched Davit with a curiosity on her face that would kill a cat. She watched him nervously as his face started turning red. She wasn’t sure why she was so nervous. She waited for this her whole life. She always wanted him to say the words he was saying right now. She could see the panic in his eyes. Then he started rambling more.
This made her smile and blush as he spoke. She gently reached up to touch his face. She giggled a little when he turned deep red. She sat there listening to him. She watched him take a deep breath of air and tried to hide the tears in her eyes from the happiness she felt in this moment.
Then Davit looked at her with a look in his eyes that melted her heart. She blushed hard and acted a little shy as he caressed her cheek with his thumb. She looked over to him slowly. She locked eyes with him before speaking so he knew how serious she was as well.
“Well, Pookie… I must say… This… Well, this makes me the happiest girl in the world to hear you say. I have a confession to make.” She said as she paused for a moment trying to think if she was really ready to do this. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. She had to prepare herself for what she was about to say. She took one more deep breath in through her nose and out of her mouth before she opened her eyes again to look at his handsome face. “Davit Blackwell… I have loved you for a long time too. I was actually going to tell you. However, when I woke up that morning you were gone.” She said as a tear fell from her eyes. As she thought about how bad it broke her.
“It almost broke me when you left without a word. I didn’t eat for days. All I did was cry. I was so depressed.” She said as she remembered what it was like those first few weeks without him by her side. She looked deep into his eyes as she spoke again “Honestly though even though you left without a word… I couldn’t stay mad at you. Maybe you are the reason I could never love someone. I even tried to date this girl… It ended kind of badly. Now, I think I know why I never loved her, because I was in love with you. Because you had my heart. Since my heart was with you… How could I possibly have loved another.”
She slowly leaned in a little closer to him. All she wanted in this moment was to feel his warmth against her. She really wanted to feel his lips on hers. She hadn’t felt that in twenty years. She slowly lifted one hand and placed it on his chest. She could feel his heart beating. The other hand reached up and gently touched his face. “You will always be my everything. Even if there was an ocean between us… I would find a way to make things work.” She said as she looked into his eyes with her hands steady where they were. The ball was in his court.
Lucy was still looking at her phone from sending the message and picture to Blake. When the ladies said their opinions. This made Lucy giggle. “Actually both of you are wrong. I’m allergic to peanuts was the lie. I do have four kids, two girls and twin boys. My oldest daughter is 14, my baby girl is 7 and my twin boys are 12. I was 22 when I had my oldest.” She giggles as she spoke again “I really do hate bananas. My mom used to make this banana homemade medicine stuff and it was so nasty. It always made me gag; So, as soon as I could I stopped eating bananas and I’ve heated them ever sense. Who wants to go next?” she asked with a smile then realized she still didn’t know their names. “Oh… I’m so rude. I didn’t catch your names. I’m so sorry. I’m Lucy by the way if y’all didn’t know.”
She heard Rayla answer and just looked at Lucy waiting for her to answer. She then told us we were both wrong and the allergies to Peanuts was the lie. She also said “Actually both of you are wrong. I’m allergic to peanuts was the lie. I do have four kids, two girls and twin boys. My oldest daughter is 14, my baby girl is 7 and my twin boys are 12. I was 22 when I had my oldest.” Savannah had a hocked look on her face she seemed so young. “No way! You look so young and amazing, like shit. I honestly have no idea how you can handle 4 kids especially teenagers these days.” She chuckles a little bit. “I guess I will go next, I am married, I am the oldest in my family, I am more known for acting than singing”
She had accepted him long before he had even realized it. This had made him extremely happy. He wondered if this was what they meant by being on cloud 9. He leaned his forehead in and gently had his against her forehead.
“I promise I will never leave you again like back then.” he meant it, for he planned to never leave her behind. When he had left before, it broke him but he managed to survive with the pure hope of returning to her.
He couldn’t deny it any longer, and gave into his urge of kissing her. He tried his best to hold himself back and to be gentle in the kiss. The sweet flavor brought him back to their first kiss, it was the same back than as it was now.
His phone started to go off just as the kiss was about to deepen. Groaning internally, did he pull away and pulled out his phone. It was a text from his neighbor. He opened it up without much thought.

She was surprised as it was revealed they were both wrong. Being allergic to anything was quite depressing especially since a food item was involved. But it mattered not, learning about these women would be essential if they were to be friends.
“where is my manners! I’m Rayla Ryder. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Lucy!”
She looks over at the other gal as she listened off her two truths and a lie. She pondered on the things she said. Marriage, oldest, or acting?
Taking a deep breath, she replied hesitantly “I’m going to go with acting as the lie. Sorry I don’t really watch a lot of movies.”
Lucy smiled at the girls as they talked. The girl who thought she couldn’t have four kids went next. However, Lucy had to answer her compliment as well. “Aww, thanks hun. I’m not that young though. I’m 36.” She giggled then listened to what she said. * “I guess I will go next, I am married, I am the oldest in my family, I am more known for acting than singing”* Lucy thought for a moment while the other girl spoke. She didn’t want to speak out of turn. The girl answered so now it was Lucy’s turn. She looked at the girl and didn’t notice a ring on her finger. So, she replied “I’m gonna say being married is a lie… Since I don’t see a ring on your finger or a tan line from one.” She smiled at them both. “Nice to meet you Rayla… Wait Ryder… As in Tommy Ruder?” She asked as she smiled sweetly at her. She really hoped she was doing this girl thing right.
She listened as Lucy answered abd how she went in depth about the reasoning behind her answer and she was right. “technically not everyone wears a ring even if they are married but you are correct im not married but there is someone I’m interested in.” she smiles at the girls.
“Also sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Savannah Healy or some people know me as Blair London.” Rayla also introduced herself to Lucy and said Rayla Ryder was her name and it sounded familiar the last name at least and Lucy then mentioned Tommy’s name and now thinking about it his last name is Ryder. She waited for Rayla to respond before she says anything.
She nodded a little, “why, Tommy is my big brother!” her voice was filled with excitement as her eyes twinkled at the mention of her brother. Than glanced back over to Savannah, a bit surprised. “How could someone so gorgeous not be married?” She thought to herself
“I am surprised you are not married. But I get it.” she giggles a little. “I suppose that would make it my turn? Let me see…” She thought for a moment before finding the perfect truths and lie. “Okay, here we go… I’ve came close to death 4 times, never been to Disney world, and I hate the tastes of oranges.” she wasn’t sure if it was easy to tell which was a lie. It felt obvious
Isabella was in her own world when he said “I promise I will never leave you again like back then.” This made Isabella smile big time. “I really hope not Davit. I don’t know if I could live through that again.” She admitted as she sat there looking deep into his eyes. Isabella smiled as he leaned his forehead against hers. This brought her back to their first kiss as teenagers. She could feel it was about to happen, and she was so excited, nervous and happy.
Isabella felt the sparks flying between the two of them as their lips slowly met. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach as well. Oh… How long I have waited for this She thought as the kissed. It felt like no time had passed at all. It felt like they were teenagers again. She wrapped her arms around his neck about to deepen the kiss when his phone started going off. She was shocked when he pulled away and pulled out his phone to look at it.
Isabella and Davit were so close that she couldn’t help but see the message. She cringed at the thought that he had someone missing him from where he had been living. What made her cringe the most was the context of the text. She looked back up to his eyes from his phone. She looked at him with anger filled eyes. She tried so hard ot keep her composure. However, there was no hope.
How could he tell me all that if he has a girlfriend? How could he lie to me and hurt me like this? Why would he do this to me? I don’t deserve this! What the F^^K! She thought before speaking which only had her words be harsher than she intended. She did take a deep breath before speaking to him. She jumped off the couch. “Davit! WHAT THE F^^K!” She yelled as she started pacing in front the couch.
“I mean like how can you sit there and tell me all those things… Then get a message like that from another girl.” While she took a quick breath and decided to mock the text. She didn’t leave him time to speak. “Hey Hon! I was wondering when you plan on returning. It’s lonely on this farm without your company I miss your D” She rolled her eyes. “Like are you f^^king serious right now Davit… You tell me you love me and always have. Then you kiss me just to have your girlfriend text you. Like what kind of man would do that?” She scoffed.
She was still pacing back and forth. Her heart was breaking all over again. How could he possibly do this. what was he thinking. Her mind was racing and the rage and anger inside her was boiling over like a pot on the stove left unattended. “You know what Davit. GET OUT! JUST GO! I DON’T WANT YOU HERE RIGHT NOW! I DON’T WANT YOU TO SAY A WORD!” She said as she went and opened the front door for him to leave.

Lucy smiled. “You are right not everyone wears a ring. It was just a feeling I guess.” She giggled and smiled at Savannah who had just introduced herself. “Nice to meet you” She smiled at her. Then Rayla talked again. She listened carefully. “Oh, that is cool he is your big brother” Lucy smiled at her then listened to what she said for the truths and lie. “Okay, here we go… I’ve came close to death 4 times, never been to Disney world, and I hate the tastes of oranges.” Lucy thought for a minute before speaking again. “Never been to Disneyworld is the lie?” She asked more than said. She wasn’t sure with this one.
His face dropped as Isa got off the couch and was pacing about frantically. He hadn’t realized that his neighbor had added the r right behind the “you” in the text. He realized this was a HUGE misunderstanding that he needed to clean up. Trying to find a way to speak up in-between Isa rage. Though he was to be blamed as well. His neighbor was always trying to hit on him and even misspell certain words intentionally, but he would always ignore them and be professional in every interaction with her, via through text or in person. He just never thought she would actually text him at the worst time possible.
“Isa. I can-” he was interrupted by Isabella. "Hey Hon! I was wondering when you plan on returning. It’s lonely on this farm without your company I miss your D! Like are you f^^king serious right now Davit… You tell me you love me and always have. Then you kiss me just to have your girlfriend text you. Like what kind of man would do that?”
He finally gets up on his feet but by now she was opening up the door and screaming at him to leave. “You know what Davit. GET OUT! JUST GO! I DON’T WANT YOU HERE RIGHT NOW! I DON’T WANT YOU TO SAY A WORD!” . This shattered his heart. This was the girl of his dreams, he had finally opened up to her and yet…he was stupid enough to ruin it by checking his phone. He walked over to the front door. He didn’t want to make her anger towards him worsen but he needed to at least say something. His mind raced as he inched closer to the outside world of the door. Finally he found the words.
He looks at Isa before stepping outside, “It’s not what it looks like Pixie. She is just my neighbor who has a crush on me, nothing more, I swear! I meant every word I said today! You are the only one in my heart!” He was panicking but managed to stay calm while he spoke. But it seemed to have fallen on deaths ears. The door was slammed in his face before he could even utter another word. Frustrated, he scratched the back of his head and looked up at the sky for a solid minute before submitting to defeat. He sighed and walked over to his car, getting in and driving off.
He didn’t know what to do to clear this up, but he figured after a day or two, he’d attempt to clear up the misunderstanding.
Savannah nodded at what Lucy said in regard to the ring. Then Rayla said that Tommy was her brother which Savannah did not know that and Tommy was her manager. “Oh that’s cool that he’s your brother. Surprisingly I did not know that Tommy had a sibling and Tommy is my manager.” . Rayla then told us her two truths and a lie and Lucy answered first thinking the lie was never gone to Disney World. “yeah I agree I think the never gone to Disney is the lie.”
“you both are wrong. The lie is not liking the taste of oranges. I actually quit love them. And never going to Disney world is actually a self choice. Their standards have changed so much that I have lost the appeal of ever going. They are just money hungry.”
She sighed after speaking. At one point in her life, she had always dreamed of going but that dream was long dead to her.
Ezra strolled through the gym, his usual confident grin spreading across his face as he spotted an open bench press. “Finally, the universe is smiling down on me,” he said, flexing his arms playfully. He admired his reflection in the mirror—a little fluff on his hair, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a casual ruffle.
He turned on his heel, scanning the room for a spotter. “Hey, anyone willing to help a guy out?” he called, winking at a couple of gym-goers who chuckled back. Their camaraderie fueled his spirit as he weaved through the weight machines, finally locking eyes with a regular he recognized by face alone.
“Hey you,” Ezra said, stopping in front of them, a little too playfully for just asking for a spotter. “Could you do me a solid, and spot me?” He asked, tipping his head back in the general direction of the bar press.
They walked back together, Ezra’s energy buzzing, already picturing himself under the bar, pushing through reps like a beast. But as they approached the bench, Ezra’s smile faltered at the sight of someone else taking his spot—some guy, already settling in with a set.
“Are you kidding me?” Ezra shook his head with a cheeky grin, arms crossed, a mock pout dancing across his lips. He stood back, knowing he hated when people interrupted his set, so he stood and watched, throwing a glance back at his spotter to see if they were willing to wait too.
Avery Hudson definitely wasn’t the most muscular person, in fact, they were rather on the skinny side, but that didn’t mean they didn’t like going to the gym. They had been running on the treadmill for about thirty minutes, when they decided to take a break. Slowing down the machine, they slowed to a stop, unclipping the safety. Hopping off the machine, Avery caught their breath, brushing sweat soaked bangs off their forehead. They were headed to get a much needed drink when a man walked up to them. ”Sure. Is that just to make sure you don’t drop a fifty pound dumbbell on yourself? I can do that.” He smiled. ”I’m just going to get a smoothie real quick. Lucy was shocked Savannah agreed with her. Lucy smiled and sipped her drink. She glanced at her phone and noticed nothing from Blake yet. She pouted a little then put her phone back beside her. She looked back up at the girls. Just in time for Rayla to talk. She smiled “Well, that’s good to know.” I smile at her. Lucy knew it was her turn, and she wasn’t sure what to say in the moment. She thought for a moment. Then Lucy had the perfect idea. She smiled at the girls as she spoke “I have had three miscarriages, I had an abortion at 18, I can’t stand people who eat onions” She sat and waited.
Since Savannah was busy with her girl’s night out or whatever. Cole decided he would go to the gym. He had some frustrations to workout. Since he was feeling Savannah so much, he hadn’t slept with any of his normally ladies. So, a good workout was going to be great for him. He got dressed in his gym clothes and jogged over to the gym. Once he for there he walked in. He glanced around and smiled as he saw some familiar faces. He then saw a bench press was opened. He couldn’t believe how packed the gym was. So, he walked over to the empty spot. He set up his weights on the bar. Then he sat down and leaned back. He put his hands in place and started doing some reps. The he heard “Are you kidding me?” Cole looked up puzzled and confused. “Is there a problem bro?” Cole asked as he set the bar down and sat up. When Cole sat up, he noticed the scrawny looking dude next to the other guy. He just smiled at them. He tried not to laugh at the scrawny dude being here. Hey everyone needs to workout sometimes. He thought to himself.
She thought about what Lucy just said. Part of her hoped it wasn’t the miscarriage and if it was… She shook her head, not wanting to even think about it. It wasn’t something to even lie about.
“I think I’m going to have to go with…” she was puzzled. They all seemed plausible. “I’m honestly not sure, but I’ll say the 2nd one is the lie.”
