Yeah, it was. Loved it.
Applied. Did a three-week TESOL course that would have been about US$1000 and then they found me a job and sorted my way to Korea about a month after that.

Honestly, do if your cool with it. You honestly don’t need to speak the language, they don’t like native English teachers speaking it in the classroom anyway. The only thing that good is learning the basics to get around normal life while living there. But my Korean and Russian aren’t crap, honestly.

my Japanese prof told my class about this program for teaching English in Japan so I might do that after I graduate (you need an undergrad degree for this program)
