You really don’t think there could have ever been something more that went on? A reason she didn’t tell you. Don’t you think you know her well enough to know that she must have had a reason for not telling you? Maybe she didn’t tell you because she didn’t want to hurt you. What if she had gotten an abortion because her mother forced her to and didn’t know how to tell you? Or if there was some medical complication that would have been too much for her or the baby?
How can you be so sure that the situation didn’t break her heart, or that telling you wouldn’t make it worse on her?

Yeah, he knew about Bree then. She’s always been Sadie’s niece, and his niece when he married Sadie (don’t know for sure when he married sadie actually).
Just in 2029 it was before her dad (one of Sadie’s older brothers) went missing/died, and before she lost her leg.
