So is toby the first baby you’ve taken care of fully? Like yes your siblings and then you have your wife’s “kids” (because yes we know about the affair) but how has that been? You know - being there every day for a kid and watching him grow? You weren’t really there for Zach…

Malachi:
Yes, Toby is. It’s been crazy, but I’m so glad to see everything with him, especially this little.
And Zach… I wasn’t there for him, not like I should have been… and nothing can truly make up for that. The best I can do is to just be better…

How is your relationship with Zach now?

Malachi:
Its getting better. It’s still not what I wish it was, how I would’ve done things differently if I could go back in time, but I’m doing my best to be something good in his life. That kid deserves the world, and I haven’t been much of a good father for him, but I’ll always work to be what I should have.

Raph loves him, and so does Akielah. And Ria, I don’t know really. She’s only seen him over a video call once, and even just a handful of times with Aria.

No. Something would have to really change for us to ever be friends. I tolerate him for Jess, but that’s it, and he would still do nearly anything to get me out of Jess’s life completely.
