We weren’t at the same point in our lives. He liked kids, and wanted to have a family, but he wasn’t ready to settle down and focus on a family yet. I have Laurel and I have my career, and a life here. I know what I want, and the path ahead, but he was still figuring his life out, and making a path for himself.
