Daddy’s Always Right - 2025
“NOOOOO” the squeal of the little girl met Dan’s ears as she bounced on his chest. Let’s just say… the two were simply having a little… disagreement… for the last hour and a half. What do you want? The kid just didn’t understand that Dan was right and maybe Dan was too stubborn to let her win… even if she was his daughter.
“Yeeeess, darling” Dan stated knowingly. I mean, obviously - dan was the all-knowing god. In this case, all-knowing dad. Obviously, all-knowing - I mean, he was bloody DANIEL PARKER.
“Noo daddy no” she stated with a huff and dan simply rolled his eyes as she frowned with determination. Relentless, who’s kid was she even? Oh yeah. His. Sigh.
“Yes baby”, you’re wronggggg” Dan noted in a song song voice.
“No youuuu, daddy”
“Nuh uh, you are” Dan countered IMMEDIATELY. Someone needed to put this kid in her place.
“No”
“Yes”
“NO”
“YES”
“Mmmmammmma”
A laugh met his lips as his 3-year-old clearly had his stubbornness. “You know what, sure let’s call mama. MAAMA COME IN HERE PLEASE.” Daniel smiled as his beautiful wife walked into the room a few minutes later, her hair still wet from the shower he would have loved to join her in. But alas, this child wouldn’t relent.
“What are my two favorite people up to?”
“Mama mama mama I’m a better dan…dancer than daddy. Tell daddy.”
A pout met Dan’s lips. “And tell HER SHEs WRONG”
Val looked at the two, eyebrow raised. “Dan…”
“I’m pretty bloody good come on”
A laugh met Val’s lips… you know… one of those… I have a plan laughs and Dan watched as she went and picked up their little girl. “You know what, I say it’s time for a dance-off.” A laugh met VCs lips as Val started tickling her. “Alexa, play umbrella by Rihanna”
“ YAYYYYY” the scream left his daughter’s lips and Dan’s confidence faltered.
“Wait wait wait that’s not fai-“
