Daniel gently put his hand on her cheek after pulling away from the kiss, his watching ringing with a slight indication that someone had messaged him. Moving his eyes away from his wife, Dan turned his attention to the message from Jess - though a sigh left his mouth when seeing it.

I THINK CURSE WORDS WERE ON MY LIST. I WIN. FCK YEAH.
What the bloody hell was wrong with her? Dorian DeLoughrey had clearly brought her bloody IQ level down, for fcks sake. “Hmm?” Daniel asked at her words about hitting on her. “I thought we were past the point of hitting on each other, but if you want to call it that, sure Love.” Daniel added, finally looking back at her with a soft smile. It was only with her next words that his smile disappeared. Was she pretending not to know him… god damn it… what did he do this time? “Did I forget an anniversary? I don’t think I forgot an anniversary… the anniversary of when we met… no that doesn’t make sense we met on the first day of school… the anniversary of when you stole my pudding? I don’t honestly think that needs to be celebrated love… whatever I forgot… I’m sorry,” Dan sighed, “My head’s been all over the place with this wedding,” Dan continued, but before he went to hug her again, Dan stopped for a second time - this time his mind registering something. “Where’s your wedding ring?” Since Daniel and Val had come a few days ahead of time, most of the mornings were busy with them not seeing each other with today being one of those days. But what he did know was that there was a wedding ring clearly missing from her hand, and immediately he could feel his heart drop at the possibilities of what she could say next. Please… please don’t say she was going to ask for a divorce. What… what did he do?
