Things were going great. Great. Going in the right direction… literally. Leading Nora to “another exit”, Finley was happy to see she had no problem holding this pointless, fake little conversation he did not care about. What he cared about was that dinner he hoped Nora would say yes to. The only problem is he didn’t want to be anywhere near his father but that’s a problem for some other time. Another thing Finley cared about was where they end up now. Maybe he didn’t have a goal when he first approached her, but now? Just wait.

So he quickly entered it himself and started talking about the first thing that caught his eye and that would hopefully get her interested enough to follow him. Too bad that was some lame huge painting he thought was horrendous. Why did someone paint that, and why did someone put it here?
