~Ethan’s Train of Thoughts~
Hello you! Yes, you reading this. Hi! I’m Ethan. Obviously the cute one in the family, but if you couldn’t tell which one that was, I’m the one on the right. Wait… left… no right. Okay… I haven’t learned my right from my left yet so don’t judge me. I’m the one FRONT AND CENTER. You see me? Yeah youuuu see mee. I’m a cutie. Anyways, I have so much more to offer than knowing my lefts and my rights… like being the cute twin. I mean LOOK at me. I am ADORABLE. Don’t listen to Grayson when he makes his little mumbles and smiles and bounces when mom and dad come around. He’s cute, don’t get me wrong - but I’m cuter. Obviously.
Anyhowwwww, life as a 8 month old is pretty sweet. My hobbies include sleeping, drinking milk - sooooo goood by the way, and obviously being cute. I mean… did you read the first part? I obviously like being cute. Everyone comes around me and kisses me and it’s honestly a great life. Everyone does everything for you - can this just like, be forever? It was a sweeeeet life. Like, take today. Besides the itchy suit and bowtie he was wearing, Ethan loooooveeeed the attention. His servant… nanny? whatever was holding him and everyyone was coming up to him and calling him cute. Okay them cute because Grayson was with him. Stop hogging the spotlight Grayson. That’s actually exactly what he told his brother in baby language, though you would probably just hear:
“baaa baadmebaameahh”
It’s okay. Ethan understood - baby language was hard to understand for big people. It’s fine. Maybe one day, these big people would be as smart as him.
“nnmmmmbah bahh”
Which basically translated to No you Rude. See - clearly the better twin right here - on the right… or was it left? Whatever, It’s fineee, his brother was pretty cool usually. They had good conversations most of the time, it’s just when they were in a room full of people, they both wanted a lil attention. That’s EXACTLY why when his mom came and Grayson was a lil distracted, Ethan cried putting his hands out. Two birds with one stone, you know? 1. Food and 2. love from mama. Gray was too slow for him because his mom immediately picked him up instead of Grayson. Ha Gray, take that. But while mama was distracted, his siblings were clearrllyyy being sneaky. He saw Shay and Aidan take off in one direction and Zoe take off in another. “Sababaeisi mafepjgpe fe apfeap” Ethan told his mom, trying to point at his siblings. But noooo she wouldn’t listen to him. It was fine though, they’d be okay right? Hopefully.
Either way, within a few seconds he was tooooo distracted drinking milk. Ahh, life was good. BUT THEN SHE LEFT HIM WITH DAN. He was fine in general, but did he haveeee to be so mean to his dad? rude. And he was holding him veeryyyyy uncomfortably. But after a while, he finally held him tighter and Ethan sighed with relief. “fabbbabaeed” he told his cousin, basically translating to DON"T DROP ME. Though he wasn’t listening to him as he talked to someone to get some juice. How come Ethan didn’t get juice in that round holding thingy? It looked cool, but when he told his cousin he wanted some he was ONCE AGAIN ignored. Instead his cousin ran around getting different things from people. But finalllyyyyy, he was back in another room and his dad was there. HEY DAD. A bright smile met his lips as he bounced in his father’s arms. His dad was actually paying attention to him. It was great.
“Was your mean uncle meaner than usual?”
“afaaahhbb coo addweded” he responded, telling his father how Dan was Okkkkayyy but he didn’t pay ANY attention to him. SOooo roodeeee. Clearly his dad had learned how to speak baby because he was responding to him.
“I thought so… I’m so sorry, buddy.”
“sseeebbb deeebbbdede” in other words, shucks dad, it’s okay.
That conversation continued with boooothhhh Ethan and dad trashing danny - honestly it was realllllllly funny. But then dad said a really interesting word. Fck… he had never heard that one before. Hmm. Ethan found his lips trying to say it with his father. “F…fck,” Oh he did it. Okay that wasn’t so hard. See. He could speak adult too. Look at how smart he was. He could speak baby and adult and his parents couldn’t. His dad was saying something to him but he was tooooo excited to say the new word again. His cousin started saying something, but saying this word took connnnncentration and so Ethan stoped paying attention to anything but saying the word. Over and over again. Look dad, I CAN SPEAK ADULT. LOVE ME MORE. CAN GRAYSON SPEAK ADULT? Nope. And clearly, since his dad started giving him more attention after he said the word, he was on the right track. So he did it again, and again, and again. His dad was joking around with him, telling him how funny he was and then trying to get him to say another word. Buuuut his word was more fun. “Fck,” he repeated.
He found his dad walking outside of the room - byeeeee dannnnn - and then they started going back to the nannies. BUT WAIT DON’T LEAVE ME THERE AGAIN. I LIKE IT WITH YOU. He tried to say, but the good thing was that his dad was distracted because his siblings left. “japbabpapcaedm” He was explaining to his father how he tried to tell mom earlier, but she wasn’t listeninnnnggggg, but then they left again. BYEEE GRAYSONNN Ha, I WIN AGAIN.
And then his mom was there again and he laughed with her hi, responding to her and telling her everyyyything that happened when he was gone but then she started talking to dad. sigh will no one ever listen to him? Oh well - tis was the life of a 8th month old. Some good things - likkekeeeeee you know, being cute and all. But also, no one listens. If only people will learn baby. It’s fine, Ethan was smart, he’d just learn adult instead One “Fck,” at a time.
