When Mateo realized it was Laurel there to rescue him, there was no way to ignore his smile and excitement. The boy was practically bouncing off the walls as he leaped out of his chair and ran over to not only hug her, but spin her around as well. Though, beyond that was where it went too far, with his proposal. Mateo was always someone to take a moment, even when you’re feeling down, and find a way to bring a smile to your face.
