“I don’t know if I like the sound of that…”
She frowned lightly. “Me either… but they physically assaulted me. That’s where I draw the line…” She explained, crossing her arms as she pinched the seams of her sleeves.
“As much as I would love to for once , see you kick some butts, please don’t do anything you might regret.”
Ezekiel was great at calming Vic down and changing her very stubborn mind. Not a lot of people could do that. She even thought about it for a moment, trying to decide if it was worth it. And it wasn’t. But in order to succeed and stand up for herself? Oh, she had to.
“I have to kick some butts. You can’t succeed in life if the people around you are continuously taking shots. If you don’t show where you stand, who will? We need to start taking up for ourselves — just this once, c’mon” She stated, pouting in an almost pleading way.
“I won’t force you to participate,” She told him, leaning her head on his shoulder with a soft gaze. “–but it’d be really nice if you were with me for some moral support.” Adding this with a sweet, convincing smile. Little did he realize, she was great at convincing people too. Stubborn – like an ox. A very annoying trait, but she’d never admit it.
”You’d be a hero. Don’t you want that, huh? Huh“
She thought about his words, knowing he was right. A lot of girls looked up to Victoria. She couldn’t deny that… “Dmn it, you’re good at this,” She muttered, playfully shoving him with a roll of her eyes. “I wont change my mind, though. The only people who will know who did this is you and me, so I’ll take my chances for now.” She told him, smiling softly with a hint of unease. Victoria hadn’t done a thing like this in all of her life. Even being surrounded by it in the industry didn’t make her falter. But she was pssed. She shouldn’t have to be the better person every time someone targets her.
As she sat on the desk, she looked towards the intercom thingy. He asked why they were there, pure anxiousness written all over his body language. His hands were placed on the table on either side of Victoria, making her brow shoot up while a smirk was displayed among her lips. “Well, what do you think? I’m going to raise h*ll,” She told him, placing her hands onto her lap, softly rubbing her legs as if it would help her anxiety.
”What’s the plan, miss I’m full of vengeance ?“ Zek carefully placed a finger on the button of the intercom, a playful smile appearing on his lips. “Harmless rumor,” She told him with a shrug. This was the last thing Victoria wanted to be doing right now, but she had to.
“Are you sure about it?”
She gave him a small smile before feeling a knot form into her chest. She was about to do this. “I’m ready to take up for myself,” She told him, talking herself into this. She’s never done anything like this before. Stupid Blue Royalty. She quickly thought of a rumor that wasn’t completely catty, and placed her finger gently on top of Zek’s — finally pushing in the button. Victoria cleared her throat and feigned a British accent, a surprisingly good one too. She was pretty talented in the accents department, considering she had one of her own. This was so that they wouldn’t fully know who it was. Hopefully Victoria’s plan is good enough.
“Charlotte and Hera! Your cars are being towed due to the fact that the police found heavy dr*gs hidden inside of your vehicles. Please exit voluntarily or you will be forcefully extracted by the police, thank you.”
She pulled her finger away from the death machine and let out a heavy breath. “Oh my lanta,” She muttered. “What did I just do?” She started, freaking out a bit. Victoria then smiled, amazed that she even did that and bursted out laughing. “Never ask me why I don’t come to these things in the future.” She teased, shaking her head and holding her head in her hands.
