Blue Royalty: New Blood

You should have just walked away, Kaspian Ishida. Should have just fcking walked away. Instead, do you know what he was doing? He was… what was he doing? Looking after a girl he didn’t even care about? Honestly, besides knowing Katherine Burton’s first and last name, and the fact that she can’t ride a dirtbike and lied about it, Kaspian had no idea who the hell this girl was. What if she got high on purpose? What if that dude was her boyfriend? Who the hell knew? Why the actual hell had Kaspian decided to get involved in the happenings of a high school girl?

Nevertheless, Katherine Ishida stood in the middle of sweat and hormone-induced teenagers, with his hand out waiting for her to grab it. Did he really want to dance with her? Well… technically… Kaspian wasn’t opposed but the real reason for him dancing was simply to gage her sanctity. Easy as that - was Katherine Burton sober enough to make whatever decision he wanted to? Currently, that answer was no.

“He’ll come back… probably,” Kaspian responded, with a nonchalant shrug - noting that Katherine… a drunk or high Katherine had apparently been practically grinding on someone she didn’t know. That doesn’t exactly put a mark in the sober enough to leave alone category. Perhaps he would have responded that it was bad if she gave him a chance. Honestly, for a girl who previously seemed so afraid of getting… well you know… by him in an alleyway, she was underestimating the individuals who commit such an act the most: the people around you that you think you know. Just because she’s a trustworthy high school girl, did not mean the boys around her followed the same sentiment. Men were disgusting, Kaspian would be the first to agree with that sentiment… so honestly, yes Katherine, it was bad. Though again, he didn’t really get the chance to explain that little tidbit as she continued - noting that he should bow.

Bow?

Like a dog?

Really?

Walk away, Kaspian. Run away. A soft sigh left his mouth as he reminded himself that she wasn’t in his right mind… though, that didn’t mean he was going to bow. Instead, Kaspian, stepped forward for the second time, closing the distance. With that, he grabbed her hand, spun her around so her back was against his - with his mouth near her ear. “How about if it’s a good enough dance, I’ll bow after,” He whispered, before turning her back around.

With that, he gently moved her hand to his shoulders and moved his to her waist. While he wasn’t forcing her, he also was leading the movements so they were dancing. “So, Katherine. Tell me. Did you… drink… or eat anything… unusual…?”
