Blue Royalty: New Blood

Not many people understood how it felt to simply be… destined for greatness. However, Emily wasn’t one of those losers. Trust her, she knew that she was meant to… be someone or… at the very least, she knew she was going to be someone very soon. Call it the law of attraction or whatever, but everything she had ever wanted simply came to her.

  • Head Cheerleader: Check
  • Hottest Boyfriend: Check
  • A sh!t ton of followers on Instagram: Check
  • Likely the hottest dress at Prom: Checkity fcking Check

In other words: it was a good life to be her - and those were exactly the thoughts running through her mind as she walked into the party of a lifetime: otherwise known as her senior prom. Dax had his arm wrapped around her waist as the two of them smiled pretty for the camera up in the front to document the night. Now… here’s something everyone should know about Dax. He was hot, but really fcking stupid. Okay correction. Not “Mateo” stupid, but, still. Emily knew this thing with the man wouldn’t last past graduation - after all - once graduation came, Emily had to set her eyes on a hot college guy that had the potential of future fame as much as she did and while Dax had power at this school, he wouldn’t forever.

“Dax, go get me a drink,” Emily stated as they walked further into the venue, a few cheerleaders following behind with their own dates. “Em you won’t believe who’s chaperoning this event,”

“Unless it’s someone I’m following on social media, I don’t give a fck about who’s dad is her…”

“It’s Dorian DeLoughrey, the soccer player… you know, the Taylor-D Twin’s Uncle.”

Okay… now that was… damn. Dorian was hot - trust Em, she had seen enough photos of him in magazines to know… it may also be pertaining to mention that Dorian was her crush growing up (you know, posters in the bedroom kind of deal), but Emily played the news off fairly cool. “Find out where Makenzie. I think him and I should talk,”

Here’s the benefit of being someone in power. Her girls knew within two minutes exactly where Dorian was, and within three minutes, Emily was already walking over to him with an idea in mind. “Woah,” Em muttered, pretending like her heel caught in something and she just happened to use him as support - meaning her hands faltered to his chest as she lifted her foot. “Fck… I’m so sorry,” Em sighed, lifting her leg almost as if she had hurt it as she moved her hands to his shoulder to keep her balance. Emily had to admit, the man was hotter in person.

Before he could even ask if she was okay, Em carefully put her foot down though kept her hand remained on him. “I hope you don’t mind, I think I need to just let it rest for a second so I’m just going to keep a little pressure on your shoulder,” she muttered. Acting as if the whole accident was… well… just that… an accident… Emily finally looked into his eyes “Oh… oh god I’m so embarrassed you’re Dorian DeLoughrey aren’t you? I promised myself if I ever met you, I’d say that the loss in New Orleans a couple of months back was completely bogus. That ref had it against you or something because that other team kept making so many damn fouls… god look at me… I’m blushing… hey… do you mind if we got out of here… Oh… I just mean do you mind helping me getting to somewhere I can sit and maybe helping me with some ice…and maybe we can finish this conversation?”
