Blue Royalty: New Blood

Did anyone in their right mind ever expect Enrique Montoya to be wearing a suit… or even have a date during prom? No… it was likely the last thing anyone would have ever expected Rick. But… well what could he say? Maybe there was a time where he’d be sleeping with a random girl right before a dance in his car… side note, that time was quite literally last year when he slept with Cindy Links before she met up with her prom date… but… okay it was hard to imagine doing that this year. Right now, there was oddly only one girl on his mind… and that girl was looking… really fcking gorgeous right now. Ricky took a moment to appreciate the girl sitting next to him as he waited at a red light - allowing his eyes to shift down her body with a stupid smile on his lips until she told him The light’s green… or at least it was some variation of those words with her calling him an idiot.

Part of Ricky knew that Annie was still dealing with her own sh!t… well, in retrospect, so was he. But he couldn’t help his mind as it roamed back to a few weeks prior - a drunken dance, leading to a drunken kiss, leading to a drunken… well… you get the picture and if you don’t, you’re not old enough to get the picture. As the two arrived at the venue, watching hundreds of couples dressed up walking towards the entrance - Ricky parked and simply looked at her for a second - a smirk playing on his lips as he appreciated her. “You know, we could always skip and do something… I personally consider far more exciting and fun.” With those words, Ricky gently took her hand and kissed it before letting his lips trail up her arm and navigate to her neck where he gently pecked and nipped at her skin. His other hand went to her leg, gently moving up her thigh - though he wasn’t moving further until she made the decision to take it farther. Look, Ricky may be an assh0le sometimes, but… well… 1. there was something special about this girl, and 2. he would never force someone to do something they were uncomfortable with - with any girl. Any person who did… any man who did that wasn’t a fcking man.

“Have I told you that you look fcking amazing, Annie?” he whispered, moving his head away gently as he looked into her eyes. “Hey… how are you. I know things at home aren’t… great… and your dad wasn’t able to really… take photos and stuff that other dads do on prom day… god I’m bad at this… do you want to talk?”

It was after a few minutes that Ricky found himself walking to the venue with Annie. And no, nothing happened… well… besides a slight makeout session but that was none of anybody’s business. Right now, Ricky just had to avoid… a handful of people while trying to enjoy himself. One of those people… he immediately saw while making an entrance - Diego Montoya. No seriously, boy wouldn’t leave him alone. “I’ll be back in a few minutes,” Ricky whispered in Annie’s ear, pointing towards the bathroom - but really, Rick wanted a moment to avoid getting spotted by his brother.

He.

Really.

Wanted.

to

Avoid.

That.

Navigating towards the other side of the dance, Ricky attempted to avoid eye contact with his brother at all costs… a failed attempt because at the last moment, he found that idiot’s SOUL bearing into his for a split moment before he ducked into the bathroom… well…without really paying attention. Do you want to know how Ricky immediately knew he hadn’t been paying attention? Well, the familiar voice that met his ears telling him that the bathroom he was in wasn’t exactly for men.

Turning towards the voice, Ricky found Veronica Charlotte washing her hands, not even looking in his direction as she fixed her lipgloss saying something demeaning. Or at least he believed it was demeaning, to be honest, he hadn’t been paying attention since he was in the FCKING GIRLS BATHROOM. Great. And no, not Fcking in the girls bathroom trust him, those are two different sentences and at the current moment, Ricky’s done both in the past.

“Fcking sht.” Ricky sighed, but he had no inclination to go outside and possibly face his brother so he did the next thing possible.

“Hey go outside and tell me if Diego’s out there, thanks.” It wasn’t a question… no at the very least she owed him right? Elevator be dammed, that conversation didn’t fix everything that had happened between them and he still harbored… a sense of annoyance with her regarding the subject.

@CerealKiller - Veronica Charlotte in the girls bathroom

@novella - I’ll just… assume you’re not coming back this timeskip :frowning:
