Mason:

Have you ever dealt with an unhappy girlfriend after spending most of the summer at a football camp? No? Well, let Mason Mitchell tell you - it’s not fun. It wouldn’t be a lie to say that Sienna Esposito was no fan of football and after hearing that he would be gone for vacation, her love of the sport lowered tenfold. From text messages to face time calls - one thing was clear, Mason was on a bit of a short leash when returning. Though despite any issues in the dating department, Mason and Sienna had… well… a good reunion filled with various… activities to make up for lost time. What these activities were well… take a gander - it’s probably not far off the mark from what many people thought they were doing.

In any case, school once again begin and he was back in the routine of:

  • 6 AM - 8 AM: Morning Football Drills
  • 8 AM - 3 PM: Class
  • 3 PM - 5 PM: Practice
  • 5 PM - Rest of the Night: Either taking his girl out, spending time with the boys, or going home to his family/getting ready for the next day of school.

Currently, he was just finishing up part 1 of his schedule. Taking a shower in the lockers, rolling his eyes at the fcked up “list” in the locker room - like actually, who the hell had time to do this? And walking in the hallway for a quick break before homeroom.

“Yo Mitchell, go long. Let’s see what that camp taught you,”

Mason laughed at his friend, and without hesitating, ran towards the end of the hallway. The man had always had a keen eye, so once his friend threw the ball, Mason knew exactly where it would land and found himself running backwards until the ball met his hand with force.
“Not half bad, Renolds” Mason shouted back before throwing the ball back towards the man, smiling as the man fumbled in catching it.

Mason was about to head back and tease the hell out of his friend when he found someone walking in front of him, her eyes meeting his own. There was something in the way the girl was speaking - a simple question of if she knew him. But looking at the girl, Mason didn’t hesitate in simply shaking his head - a casual expression on his face as he answered her. “I don’t think so, though I have been told I have one of those faces,” Mason smiled. Perhaps she had seen him at a game? Though he wasn’t exactly sure if she was a new student or simply someone he had never run into within the large school - which was fairly possible. The man heard his name once again, finding the Veronica Charlotte nearby. Specifying the simply because since the moment two met, there had always been a slight competitive nature between the two - both being close in academic ranking. So close, in fact, that VC was currently headed for Valedictorian, and Mason had found himself right behind her - meaning competition was always afoot between the two of them. "Ah Veronica, I hope you don’t think you can distract me from doing well on that English test today? he joked slightly before moving his attention back to the blonde. “Anyways, as this one just said - most people call me Mason, VC usually calls me ‘second place’ even though she’ll soon be in that spot. And what can I call you, Miss. Do-I-Know-You?”
