Hyun-Ae got out of her car, grabbing her backpack and slinging it over her shoulder. She locked her car door, putting her keys in her pocket and heading into the school. First day at a new school. At the start of Senior year, no less. Yay. She made her way through the crowded halls, trying to get to her locker without dying. She had just made it to her locker, when she tripped over a foot, faceplanting into her locker. Damn it. What was with her and tripping over people?! “I am ok.” She muttered, face smushed against the cold metal of the locker.

Ever since the Cerulean high party, her parents’ distrust in her had thickened because of the tasks, and Destiny could tell, even though they weren’t really showing it. When the topic of school would come up at the breakfast table, her eyebrows would curl up into a worried expression. She envied her younger sister for always seeming to be trusted in doing everything and now she had to worry even more about what her parents thought of her. Well, it was the first day of senior year and she wanted to experiment with her style more this year, but of course cover up so her parents wouldn’t say anything. After choosing the outfit she bought a few days before, she left the house with a pack of gum in her hand and an oversized coat. The thought of cheerleading again and seeing her friends on a daily basis excited her. Before coming to Cerulean High, she didn’t think she could ever like school, and here she was gloomy that it was her last year there. One of her friends being Embry, who she texted at 12 pm last night as a joke.

Aren’t you just excited to sit at a desk again? I know I am.

The thought of her reading that in the morning made her laugh. Destiny took off her coat and left it in the passenger seat and parked her car. That was when she saw Embry getting out of a vehicle on the other side of the parking lot. She skipped up to her saying the words hey girlie and wrapped her arm around her shoulder, a bit roughly albeit "Summer is officially over, we’ve entered the Cerulean high zone. How do you feel about that? She used her fist as a microphone, and pointed it to her.

Another morning, another day where Veronica and Olivia found themselves in the car on the way to another day of a school. Not that she was complaining, in a way, Veronica liked school. In made her feel good with herself, because she was always hanging there at the top of her class without even trying just made feel… accomplished. But that’s a story for another time no let’s focus on today. Veronica and Olivia made their way into the school after parking the car outside. walking down the hall, familiar faces, new faces, all kinds of faces walking around school talking, thinking, gossiping, doing stuff nobody really cares about. All was good until out of nowhere Olivia just stop walking and stared into the void, or… at someone. Veronica Turned her gaze to see what the girl was looking at, what just happened that made her look like he just saw a ghost. And frankly, she had no idea, all she saw was Mason.

”Liv?”

For Olivia, the past few weeks as a new kid at cerulean high passed quite normally. nothing crazy, nothing that worried her more than usual in the new area she was living in. That… until the 28th of September. As she walks through the school halls one morning, and for once, what she saw in front of her eyes made her unsure whether she was seeing what she saw or if she started imagining things. after all… it couldn’t be. It wasn’t him for sure. It made no sense.

But he looked just like him and as the girl saw the boy catching a football thrown at him in the middle of the hall, she felt a tug in her heart as she thought of the boy whe hasn’t seen in all these years. Her first love, the one that even after all this time, a part of her never got over. ”W-” she mumbled, not noticing the fact that she just froze in the middle of the hall, not noticing her cousin who was really confused by her reaction.

”Liv?” the girl refocused partly as she noticed her cousin was calling her, noticing she was staring too. Olivia stopped in front of the boy, her eyes still confused and somewhat broken at the thought of the man she once loved, ”i- do I know you?” she asked unsure, a glimmer in her eyes as she didn’t take her eyes off this stranger’s eyes.

”Mason?” Veronica asked with a confusion in her tone on the fact that mason was the reason for the girl’s weird behavior. It was just Mason

Tyler Campbell exited the passenger seat of his sister’s car, as she got out next to him. Both grabbed their backpacks and headed into school together. “You ready for this?” Mia asked, bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet in excitement. “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Tyler said, smiling at his twin’s excitement. They entered the school, walking down the hallway. Tyler spotted a familiar face just as Mia did. Unfortunately, both had different plans when it came to assessing the situation. “Xavier! Over here!” Mia chirped, Tyler wanting to murder her. “Mia! Whyyyy?!” He whisper yelled, and she smirked. “Payback.” Ok, he deserved that for spraying her with Silly String. “Hey Xavier.” Tyler said softly as the boy approached, Mia squeezing his shoulder reassuringly. She had his back.

Have you ever dealt with an unhappy girlfriend after spending most of the summer at a football camp? No? Well, let Mason Mitchell tell you - it’s not fun. It wouldn’t be a lie to say that Sienna Esposito was no fan of football and after hearing that he would be gone for vacation, her love of the sport lowered tenfold. From text messages to face time calls - one thing was clear, Mason was on a bit of a short leash when returning. Though despite any issues in the dating department, Mason and Sienna had… well… a good reunion filled with various… activities to make up for lost time. What these activities were well… take a gander - it’s probably not far off the mark from what many people thought they were doing.

In any case, school once again begin and he was back in the routine of:

  • 6 AM - 8 AM: Morning Football Drills
  • 8 AM - 3 PM: Class
  • 3 PM - 5 PM: Practice
  • 5 PM - Rest of the Night: Either taking his girl out, spending time with the boys, or going home to his family/getting ready for the next day of school.

Currently, he was just finishing up part 1 of his schedule. Taking a shower in the lockers, rolling his eyes at the fcked up “list” in the locker room - like actually, who the hell had time to do this? And walking in the hallway for a quick break before homeroom.

“Yo Mitchell, go long. Let’s see what that camp taught you,”

Mason laughed at his friend, and without hesitating, ran towards the end of the hallway. The man had always had a keen eye, so once his friend threw the ball, Mason knew exactly where it would land and found himself running backwards until the ball met his hand with force.
“Not half bad, Renolds” Mason shouted back before throwing the ball back towards the man, smiling as the man fumbled in catching it.

Mason was about to head back and tease the hell out of his friend when he found someone walking in front of him, her eyes meeting his own. There was something in the way the girl was speaking - a simple question of if she knew him. But looking at the girl, Mason didn’t hesitate in simply shaking his head - a casual expression on his face as he answered her. “I don’t think so, though I have been told I have one of those faces,” Mason smiled. Perhaps she had seen him at a game? Though he wasn’t exactly sure if she was a new student or simply someone he had never run into within the large school - which was fairly possible. The man heard his name once again, finding the Veronica Charlotte nearby. Specifying the simply because since the moment two met, there had always been a slight competitive nature between the two - both being close in academic ranking. So close, in fact, that VC was currently headed for Valedictorian, and Mason had found himself right behind her - meaning competition was always afoot between the two of them. "Ah Veronica, I hope you don’t think you can distract me from doing well on that English test today? he joked slightly before moving his attention back to the blonde. “Anyways, as this one just said - most people call me Mason, VC usually calls me ‘second place’ even though she’ll soon be in that spot. And what can I call you, Miss. Do-I-Know-You?”

Embry walked down the hall of her house as she pulled her hair into a half-up bun hairstyle. “Demi, I’m leaving now. If you want me to drive you to school, this is your last chance.” She called out to her sister as she reached the stairs. Thirty seconds later, her younger sister was huffing out of her room, rolling her eyes at Embry as she passed her on the stairs. After putting her shoes on, she pulled out her phone to check her phone as she waited for sister to get ready. She laughed as she came across a message from Destiny from the night before.

Once her sister was finally ready, the two of them left their house and got into Embry’s car. They turned on the radio and sang along to the songs as they drove to the school. When they arrived, Embry parked the car, turning to face her sister before getting out of the car. “Do you need a ride home, too?” She asked as she turned off the engine and opened the door. “Yeah. See you later.” Demi responded before walking away from the car and towards the school.

Before Embry had the chance to do the same, she felt an arm wrap itself around her shoulder and she turned her head to see who it was. Once she made eye contact with Destiny, she smiled and listened to the question she was asked. “I’m going to be honest with you, Destiny, I’m over it already.” She answered, laughing as she played into the microphone schtick. “How have you been, luv?” She asked, giving her friend a quick hug.

Run. Her legs moved fast, digging into the sand of the beach. It was always harder to run on sand than concrete - but it was something Amie found helped with endurance, and honestly, with the first track meet coming up, that was something she needed. But track wasn’t the reason she was running. No, rather, waking up at 5 am and going out for these runs was… therapeutic? Music blasted in her ears and similarly, her heart raced to the beat of her song. However, she wasn’t here… her mind was somewhere else. Thinking… rethinking events in her life. How she could have done them differently. Her father always told her that mistakes were a part of life. That everyone had regrets and learning to move past them was what growing up was about. Despite this, there were moments she could never forget… such as what happened the first night of school.

Flashback:

It was her last class of the day, and honestly, Amelia just wanted to go home. Her mom had just texted her that her trip was “extended”… what a fcking lie. Her mom didn’t know yet, but Amie had heard everything she had said to her father. Every single word. She wasn’t supposed to be home… but she was. Either way, Amie was frustrated. Frustrated at her mother… frustrated at Maxon being back at school…everything was just too much. A sigh of relief left her lips as the bell rang - indicating the class was over. Though after grabbing her books, yet another thing frustrated her. She caught sight of one Diego Montoya.

The two were friends… at least they used to be. The second her sister told her what happened the night of the party, all trust was lost between Amelia and Diego. Perhaps if Amie hadn’t been so worked up by everything else during the day, she wouldn’t have done what she ended up doing. Instead, she felt a surge of courage and found herself walking towards him. Grabbing his arm, Amie pulled the man into an empty classroom after students had filled out - and the moment the door was closed, she slapped him. The sound vibrated the room as she looked at him with a fire in her eyes. “Because of your idiocracy, my sister could have gotten really fcking hurt a few days ago.”

She saw remorse in his eyes but didn’t care. It was all too damn much and maybe she was taking it off on Diego Montoya, but in her mind at that moment, he deserved every part of it. “Listen to me, and listen to me well, Diego Montoya. Stay the actual fck away from my sister. She doesn’t need some idiot who has a crush on her putting her life in danger because he wants to get in her pants. Driving after drinking was the stupidest thing you could have done and it’s not happening again. Actually nothing is going to happen again because you and me, we aren’t friends anymore. And with Phoebe, you’re going to stay away. Got it?” She gave him one last look before walking away. Perhaps if it was another day, she would have felt regret. However, she felt no such thing that night.

End of Flashback:

Well… let’s just say, that sentiment of “no regrets” didn’t last because now here she was, running at 5:31 in the morning feeling regret as she replayed that moment in her mind over and over again. Was she too harsh on him? He probably already felt like sh!t but that didn’t compare to the worry Amie felt when her sister told her she was in an accident.

Either way, Amie didn’t really have time to worry about it as she soon found herself getting back home, walking towards her shower. She played music as she allowed the hot water to ‘wash away her worries’… as if that ever actually worked but she did try. She heard Phoebe walking into her room and into the shower after a few minutes and smiled at the question of checking her homework answers. “Yeah Bio class should be in the blue notebook in my bag Phoebes. IF YOU’RE GOING TO COPY, CHANGE ONE OF THE ANSWERS AT LEAST,” she continued, laughing as her sister threw her tongue out at her and left.

Mornings often started that way. Her daily run, Phoebe looking at her homework, and then, Phebes driving them to school because god forbid Amie would ever, in a million years, take the wheel. In any case, the girl said goodbye to her sister, her green smoothie in hand as she walked towards the door of the school. Though as she was walking, the girl’s shoelace became untied and she found herself struggling to catch herself. Though, she put her hand out and stopped herself by pushing against a car in the parking lot. But… as her luck usually foretold, in the process of all of the falling, Amelia Grace may have squeezed a little too hard on her smoothie so not only did the Jeep catch her fall, but she also ended up covering it in the green substance - the smoothie running down the inside as it was one of those cars with an open door which just meant… fck.

Her eyes fluttered close and Amie found someone walking towards her… specifically the person who owned the car she had just covered in the smoothie and just to her luck… it was…Fin Wolf. “Oh my god, I am… so sorry. I can pay for a wash… or a detailing…I just…”

She started, rambling apologies to the man - though honestly, she swore every time she was around him, something bad happened. Though, despite anything that was coming out of her mouth - he was simply giving her a look of rage which she took as go the fck away so she walked slowly telling him to send her a Venmo request before running the hell away from that situation.

So yes, it had been a long day. Amie sighed, walking towards the water fountain in need of a breather and honestly just a damn drink of water. Though it seemed someone in the universe was simply against her today. Amie pressed the button, though nothing came out. Instead, the fountain made a whirring noise as if it was dying inside. “You have to be kidding me, come on now…” Amie whispered, talking to herself as she clicked the button multiple times. After a few minutes, she kicked the bottom and pressed the button again, and finally, water came… well… flying out. Instead of staying where it should, the spirt of water ending up going wayyyy further than expected and… well… getting someone nearby wet.

Closing her eyes, a groan left her lips as she stopped pressing the button making the water stop and immediately was filled with regret. “I am so…so…so sorry. I honestly just have the worst luck today,” Amie apologizes, not looking at the person she drenched and instead of getting a paper towel out of her bag and trying to help the man. With a let me get that Amie with a fluter attempted to help where the man was sprayed - dabbing his lower shirt and the top of his pants after getting on her knees - apologizing multiple times until she realized what it probably looked like she was doing… after all the place she was dabbing wasn’t necessarily… let’s just say she shouldn’t have done that. “Oh… oh my god I am such a idiot here… can I do anything… i probably have done enough I am so so so sorr…” though she stopped in her rambling as her eyes met, for the first time, the person she had sprayed. JP Medina… fck.

Asking him whether she knew him was basically the only thing she managed to do, the pain of the memory was just too hard and knowing she hasn’t seen said boy in about four years was just too much to cope with. Frankly, she thought she’d never see that face again, she thought that once he left her that day he was gone forever, and now coming here, seeing someone else who looks so much like him was just… it just hurt. She remembered it all, from the time they spent, to his accomplishments, to his graduation and all these events that were carved into her memory. But this was no mason. He was just a guy that showed up to look alike and cause her pain, that mason boy could never be as good, it just wasn’t him. But he just came out of nowhere, Veronica seemed to know him but where the hell was he for the past month before showing up and messing up her mind…? Why now?

“I don’t think so, though I have been told I have one of those faces,” He said, to which she responded with a light nod. Stop overthinking, you’re just giving yourself a headache, it’s not him. he didn’t even sound like him. This mason guy, he was so… how do I explain it? american.
”Sorry, you just really look like someone I know- …knew she said, looking at the boy with a soft smile as he turned to speak with Veronica

”If you do bad on that test it’s just because you’re not as good, don’t blame it on me Mitchell” Veronica teased him in response to the comment on that English test. “Anyways, as this one just said - most people call me Mason, VC usually calls me ‘second place’ even though she’ll soon be in that spot. And what can I call you, Miss. Do-I-Know-You?” he asked. The girl glanced at him, and at her cousin for a second before turning to answer the question ”Olivia” she said, introducing herself to the guy who turned out to be a stranger. ”Its nice to meet you mason. sorry for the awkwardness” she said with a little bit of an embarrassed face at the somewhat awkward first interaction between the two.

”How was camp? Felt like a fifth grader again or does it not work like that?” Veronica teased him about the camp he was at for the past while. VC was always a competitive one, and mason just seemed to be a worthy competitor, he actually managed to challenge her, being right behind her in all academic accomplishments, right in the spot that if she failed he’d take that spot, and she didn’t like that. So their relationship was mainly built over competition, teasing, and all things of sort.

Athena finished tying their shoes up and ran a hand through their hair before leaving their house. Despite having been offered a ride, they were in no rush to get in a car with Xavier after what happened on the way to the party, opting to take the bus to school instead. They made it to the stop just as the bus was arriving, breathing a sigh of relief as they got on board and paid their fare. They sat down at the back of the bus, putting in their earbuds to listen to music.

When the bus reached their stop, they got off and walked from the stop to the school, making it there with time to spare before class started. Entering the school with their earbuds still in, they walked to their locker and ditched anything they didn’t need for their first few classes. After that, they locked their locker and walked away, deciding that they would just wander around until they actually had to go to class.

As they walked down the hall, they came across someone they knew and they paused their music, pulling out their earbuds and stuff them in their pocket as they got closer to him. “Hey, Quinn.” They said to him with a small wave.

The art of ignoring someone - Tips By Enrique Montoya:

  1. Avoid places where that individual may often be.
Which is all great and all except when you have to be in the same place like school or football practice. fcking hell.
  2. If in a location with the individual you’re ignoring, stay at least 20 feet apart.
An issue when your brothers don’t leave you tf alone
  3. If you somehow end up in a conversation with them, change the topic and leave
Again, becomes problematic when they are your brothers and aren’t taking your so called “sh!t”
  4. If escape is impossible, smile, nod, and then leave
Wish this fcking worked on Diego and Raph
  5. Simply disappear
    Been there, done that.

Well, if this tells you anything - it’s that avoiding your own brother is nearly impossible. Though honestly, Ricky had done a pretty damn good-ish job recently. Diego and him never had the same classes so that was easier. Raph and him… well… that was a bit more difficult. But just not responding went pretty well… well enough for him to barely scrape by in avoiding the long awaited conversation of “Hey, why tf did you disappear for 3 months without saying anything to ANYONE”.

Either way, here he was again - football practice. Two weeks of being back and dear old bro wasn’t happy with him. Ricky wasn’t necessarily happy with himself either but what was done, was done.

“Alright Enrique, switch places with Stewart,”

Ricky gave a look towards his coach - one that showed incredulous annoyance. The reason being that Stewart was the defense for Elio during this practice run. “Yeah coach, I’m not doing that,” Ricky said immediately with a slight laugh. “What did you say?,”

Ricky smiled behind his helmet. “I think you have to be absolutely out of your mind if you think I’m switching with Stewart,” The tension in the air had increased, as ohh’s filled the field. His coach clearly getting angry with Ricky’s actions - though it wasn’t the first time. “Montoya, say one more fcking thing and you’re going to be benched the three games. Just try me,”

Ricky gave his coach a look and after a stare-off that lasted… well… a long fcking time, Ricky moved, taking Stewart’s spot. Enrique’s eyes moved towards Elio. “TEN HUT” . An idea met Ricky’s mind, and as the ball went to the air; instead of moving to block - Ricky simply let Elio get wiped. “Oops… guess you shouldn’t have moved me coach” Ricky mentioned, rolling his eyes as his coach screamed he was benched and proceeded to put his middle finger up and walk back towards the locker room after the coach said the practice is over for the morning.

Should Ricky have expected a punch from Elio after the occurrence? yes. And he did. Feeling the hit, Enrique simply laughed, moving his jaw as Elio screamed at him. “Hey Elio, get off my fcking ass,” Ricky screamed back, and with that - Ricky punched Elio in the eye - commencing a fight as the two boys became surrounded by their teammates - none of them stepping in knowing that if they did, they would get hurt in the progress. “I have to ask, how does it feel being a little pssy who can’t handle a tackle”

After talking to AJ for then long enough and actually starting to feel like this place could be a good time even if she was only here for maybe a month. She already had a few people here that she knew and that made her hopeful. She didn’t always try and make friends right away when she moved to a new place because usually, it wasn’t worth it to get to know people too closely and then up and leave There were a few places she was longer than usual than she would let herself get to know people better and thankfully those people are now put back into her life.

When she got home that night after the party, she told her younger sister Harriet everything. Their mom was still out and away on the date she had that night, so Harriet was still away and waiting for Harts to get home. Harriet almost choked on the water she was drinking when Hartley had told her how she split a drink on a girl’s top while on the way to the bathroom and instead of the girl being mad, she just decided it was an opportunity to strip down to just a bra. They stayed up for far too long, but Harriet had so many questions and Hartley was happy to answer them. In all honesty, this place was so different than past towns and at this rate, it could get pretty high on the list of her favorite places.

But now today was the another day of school and she was still getting used to being at Beryl high. Hartley got dressed in a silky bandana top that tied around her neck and left her shoulders exposed. It came to a triangle just as her stomach and was met with a pair of high-waisted light-wash mom jeans. They had a few holes and there and she put on a pair of white high-top platform converse. As she walked out of her room, she opened peeked into the crack of her mom’s and saw her passed out on top of the covers but alone.

Her eyes racked the surroundings that was her new high school. This was the first time in forever that Harriet and she had gone to the same school So in the hallway they said by to one another, and Harriet went off, holding a paper in front of her with her class schedule on it. She hoped she would be okay today and was a little mad at their mom that she couldn’t have worked up to say goodbye. She looked left, away from Harriet leaving, to a voice talking to her.

”You could’ve just texted me begging for forgiveness instead of coming to another country,” She knew Finn, sadly. She knew him very well and that’s what made her blood start to boil while he spoke to her with a sarcastic smile plastered on his face. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and listened to him speak still. ”I know you were dying to see me, but I don’t think feelings are mutual.” She assumed he was finally done talking. She smiled kindly to him while moving her arms to cross them on her chest, her white purse moving to the cruck of her arm. “Sorry, not trying to be rude but who are you?” She said back to him in a sweet tone to lay on the act. Her eyebrow raising slightly. “Maybe I just look like someone you knew?”

Can someone tell Paige Pierce why the actual hell a blow job has everyone going crazy. Like damn, who the actual fck cares. The night of the party, Paige left Elio and went to an actual party. One that was worth her time. Though it did end in a hangover, at least she had her fun - and with a beautiful woman in her bed. One that she, of course, threw out in the morning but that wasn’t the point. The point was always the journey. Wednesday Morning turned out much the same. Another party, another person in her bed that she had thrown out. Currently she was lounging around in her underwear making some food as the man stumbled out of the bedroom and attempted to flirt with her. “Get out” Paige simply said, pointing at the door and watched as the man left - though it seemed that at the door opened - there was a certain individual waiting outside.

“Paige”

“Ahh cousin Dan. What’s up? Want some Orange Juice?” Paige asked - not even surprised by the man’s appearance. Daniel looked disgusted at the man who snuck past him and sighed when he entered the condo. “No I’m good on the orange juice. What I would like to know is what the hell you’re doing in Beryl,” The girl rolled her eyes, taking out two glasses and pouring some juice into them before also grabbing some champagne and topping it off. “Mimosa?” the girl asked ignoring his question and not making any effort to get dressed as she handed him the drink and took a seat on her couch.

"You know, I’m actually kind of surprised it took you this long to realize I was here. I mean I know I asked VC to do a little hacking but it is surprising that she held you off. A smile met her lips, ignoring all attempts at his questioning of why she was in town and found him simply shrugging.

“I’ve known since the moment you blew up the science lab at boarding school, Paige. I was just waiting for you to fess up yourself. You know Jess is going to be upset right?”

The girl simply shrugged with a grin, drowning the rest of the drink before putting it on the counter. “Although I would love to say I cared, I don’t Dan. And from what I remember, Jess is on a little undercover gig for a few more weeks so you can’t tell her either. Anyways - I should be going. I have class and all,”

With that, Paige stood up. Although still wearing lingerie, the girl grabbed her keys, waved by to her uncle, and walked out the door with a simple “would you close the door when you’re done?” . Usually, Paige would take her cycle, though it seemed the keys she grabbed were for her new mustang, and uncaringly, she went inside and found herself driving. She was near the shopping district of Beryl when she saw a man around her age walking with his hands in his pocket. Hocking her horn, she pulled up next to him and rolled down the window. “Hey sexy, I need a favor,” Paige stated, a mischievous smile on her features as she looked at him.

~2 hours later~

Paige laughed, grinding her hips against him a few final times before pulling herself off of him and sitting back down on the driver’s side. “Thanks for the clothes,” she stated, slightly out of breath - pulling the Gucci bag from the back and putting on the crop top and joggers he had bought her. She watched as he zipped up his pants and begin pulling the car seat up - both parties getting dressed after an eventful… well… few hours. After the man had agreed to her favor and went inside the store for her - buying clothes as she was clearly… well… not dressed. Paige ended up fcking him in the passenger seat. I mean, it wasn’t necessarily how she was expecting to pay the man but damn was he hot.

“You go to C High don’t you? Need a ride?” Paige asked. His face was familiar - though not so familiar that she knew him off the bat. Though, when he begin to introduce himself - Paige simply put her hand up. "Sorry but I give absolutely no sh!ts what your name is, do you need a ride or not?

The answer was yes and Paige drove the man to school - smiling as the front space was open, likely because they were early which was still a disgusting thought. Coming to school early. After a brief “good bye” the two parted ways and Paige simply found herself walking into the school with halls that were practically empty. Damn, she hated being early. If Dan hadn’t shown up she probably would have skipped today. In any case, at least the day wasn’t a complete waste. A mimosa and a good fck wasn’t bad for a morning. With that in mind, Paige found herself walking into random rooms - curious to see what there was. Only being at the school for two weeks (and only really attending class for a few days), Paige hadn’t really seen much of what there was. Though, one particular room did catch her attention. A man was standing in the middle, messing around with a video camera.

"If it isn’t the Beryl Beach’s own peeping tom. Eric right? Paige asked. She fully well knew that the man’s name was Eddie, but hell, making people feel insecure was a gift. “Hey how’s your girlfriend by the way? Girl who had her foot up her ass? She’s about Yay high, black hair?” she stared, putting her hand up a little higher than her as Paige was fairly short. Though, no one should ever underestimate the girl for her height.

There was something in the way the blonde was looking at him - an essence of something he simply couldn’t put his finger on. It was… strange. Though whatever this strange tension was, Mason was trying to diffuse it with a calm demeanor. As the blonde continued, telling him that he simply looked like someone she knew - he nodded. “No worries - it’s still nice to meet a new face,” Mason responded with a grin, though that only grew when VC responded to his sentiment. “Hey it’s not fair that some of us have a photographic memory.” he started, giving her a pointed look. “Though perfect memory or not, I’m still going to beat you, Parker,” he teased, nudging her ever-so-slightly as he leaned against the locker to talk to the two girls.

His attention was brought back to the blonde, well… ‘Olivia’ as he now knew. The man slightly raised his eyebrow as she continued, apologizing for about the… third time. “Really Olivia, don’t worry about it. I’m just glad I get to meet someone who can stand to be around VC here and not want to murder her,” he grinned, winking at the Parker standing beside him. “On that, how do you two know each other? I don’t think I’ve seen you here before so if you’re new - I will say right now…” he started, looking at VC before cupping his lips and whispering “If your her hostage… blink. I’ll get you out of here.” he whispered loudly smiling as VC immediately punched him in the arm.

It was a light conversation - after all, he and VC had always had a friendly relationship. Though they weren’t necessarily friends, they were on good terms. “And for your information, Camp was amazing, VC. And I felt more like a fourth-grader. We had nap time and everything. They really treated us like the men we are,” he continued the banter. “Nah, I’m kidding. It was fun - really busy but fun. I mean, you probably wouldn’t like waking up at 4 in the morning every day and just doing drills but I learned some good techniques for this season so you can see our team winning the season again,” However, despite the ease in the conversation now - there was still something hidden beneath the surface with this new girl and it was… making him a little uneasy.

What could one say about Hartley? Pretty girl, that was for sure… other than that, eh. Not much Finley could tell you at least. Sure, they were dating for a bit but in his eyes that wasn’t anything special. There was never anything he considered special about relationships, especially not long distance ones. That’s what they had and at that time he thought it wouldn’t bother him that much but it turned out it did. It was noticeable in his actions. From dreading her calls because she wasn’t physically there to eventually kissing another girl at a party. And many other girls. How did she end up finding out? That’s another story that only angered him - this kid that always brought him bad luck and her stupid instagram live.

It was strange to be standing in front of her after some time of not seeing her. After that time she “forgave him” and ended up leaving him all alone in a room. Strange that she ended up in his school when she could’ve been literally anywhere else. But that didn’t bother him because everything that happened between was not something he cared about. And this little act she tried to put on, pretending she had no idea who he was… yeah, it was only making him more annoyed. His first day back in school was just perfect, wasn’t it? Having that bad luck kid spill her drink all over his car seats and now having his dear ex in front of him. Definition of a perfect morning.

”Oh, I’m sorry. I must’ve mistaken you for another Hartley Bowie I know,” trying to match her tone and that fake smile she had on, he slowly raised his hand. ”Name is Finley Klein. If this one idiotic kid didn’t spill her drink all over my car I’d ask you if you wanted to get out of this place but I don’t think that’d be pretty?” Both could play her game.

It’s been around two weeks since that very first party. Two weeks of getting used to her new life as a senior with older students she always liked more. Two weeks of waiting for the list and two weeks since that, as one might think, silly accident. Not much has changed besides Phoebe not talking to Diego but not necessarily avoiding him, because she wasn’t doing that. She still enjoyed playing with him, she even sat next to him in one class without saying a word. It was little things like that that made her excited about her last year of high school and she wouldn’t give that up for something he or anyone else wouldn’t understand. Eventually, she’ll forget about crying in front of someone and let herself have as much fun as she wanted. No matter how much Amelia was mad at that guy… Yes, Phoebe knew and she understood it but she was fine.

28th September. It was a normal morning like any other. Waking up in her bright room to that annoying opening alarm sound. The only thing making it different was that proud feeling she had because she made it - she was on top of the Blue Royalty list. Not like she didn’t believe in herself; now she could actually brag about it. How cool will it be to arrive at school and walk in knowing everyone was aware of who she was. Amazing. What would make it better is having her homework done… which she did not have. Sht.

”Amieee,” Phoebe tried to call out for her sister but what left her mouth was a lazy mumble. There were times when Phoebe could wake up like that was the easiest thing to do but today was not that day. And knowing Amie’s little morning routine she was pretty sure Amie wouldn’t be able to hear her anyway. Good guess - as soon as Phoebe walked out of her room and got into Amie’s, she could hear running water and music coming from her bathroom. ”Sorry to interrupt, I was just wondering if I could… check your homework answers?” There was a sweet smile on her lips, leaning against the door frame and as soon as she got a green light she looked for Amie’s bag. Looking for her… purple notebook? Was it purple? She should’ve listened to what Amie was saying… too bad.
It had to be purple… but there was nothing purple in her bag so Phoebe started snooping around andddd bingo. A cheeky smile met her lips as she sat down on Amie’s bed and got her own phone to take photos of Amie’s answers and copy them after, right before class but when she opened it… that was not what she found.

How would she describe that moment? Alarming? Horrid? Disgusting? Concerning? All of that.
It would be right to say Phoebe was shocked and did not know what to think or feel about what she was reading. And seeing. And learning? I mean… If you knew you’d know what I mean.
Realizing she couldn’t hear the water anymore, Phoebe quickly snapped photos of what she was seeing in front of her before closing that notebook and placing it back where she found it. What the fck should I do about this? LEAVE. Leave before Amie walks out and sees her confused.

So that’s how Phoebe’s morning went. Driving, she was quiet, barely saying a thing and blaming it on not sleeping well when she just… couldn’t look at her sister without thinking about what she found in her bedroom. That was the only thing going through her mind that whole ride and she tried to block out her thoughts by turning on the music. Did not work but it was a good try. ”Go on, I have to call Aj,” parked in front of the school, she tried to find an excuse to stay alone and let Amie walk away simply because she was still so damn confused. And when she finally did that, Phoebe took out her phone to take another look at what she found in her sister’s room. Very informative pages but… how did she… What? No - why? Without paying attention to her surroundings, still staring at her phone, Phoebe opened her car door not realizing she hit someone before she looked up and saw someone staring at her. Clara. ”I’d usually say good morning but watch where you’re going seems more appropriate now,” Phoebe mumbled forcing a sweet smile as she got out of her car and quickly locked her phone, throwing it in her bag. Clara Ines Weston-Lucier was probably the only person Phoebe, for a reason, felt uncomfortable around no matter how many times she tried to convince herself that it was fine.

“I’m going to be honest with you, Destiny, I’m over it already.”

“No, don’t say that. Then the year will be worse for you. That’s why I’m having a positive attitude right now even though it’s like, in the morning.”

She begin walking with her arm still around her shoulder, watching as the other students entered the building.
“Well, my summer was pretty uneventful, except for that concert I told you about where there was a electrical spark on stage and they had to close everything because the main singer got hurt. Is it bad if i said that was the most interesting thing that happened to me?”
She opened her locker with a guilty wince. “Also, don’t ask about how I’m doing with my music because it’s the same as last year when you asked.” It was true unfortunately. She just loved procrastinating on making a simple song. “Anyways, How was the Cerulean high party for you? Did you do anything… spicay?”
She’s been wanting Embry to open herself up more and she figured this year would be the time to do it.

“Alright, I’m leaving. I’ll see you after soccer.” He called out to his parents, who were in the kitchen, cleaning up after breakfast. “Drive safe!” His mom responded as he opened the door, leaving the house with his keys in his hand. He unlocked his car as he walked from his front door to his driveway. Getting into the driver’s seat, he sent Athena a text, offering them a ride to school. He could help but laugh when they responded with ‘never in a million years.’ After putting his phone in his backpack, he started his car and starting driving towards the school.

When he arrived at the school, he parked his car and retrieved his bag from the backseat before walking into the school. He slung his bag over his shoulder, pulling his sleeves down once the bag was on his shoulder. Knowing that he didn’t have anything to put in his locker, he walked past it, in the direction of his first class.

Xavier! Over here!

He looked over to the person who had called him, cursing under his breath when he saw who it was. Out of all the people he could have seen when he walked into the school, it had to be his ex-boyfriend. Well, technically it had been Mia who called out to him, but Tyler was standing next to her and it was Tyler who spoke to him as he walked over to them. “Hey…Tyler.” He greeted him with an awkward smile. “Hi Mia.”

An alarm blared from under his pillow. The time read 4:00 AM and a groan escaped from Elio’s lips. He kept his eyes closed as his hand searched for the phone and clicked the lock button to turn the alarm off. He rolled onto his back from his stomach and made himself sit up. Yes, it was early, but morning practice starts at 6 so that only really leaves him an hour and a half to do his own warmups. Elio moved to sit up, his legs draping over the side of the bed. He stretched his arms and felt the muscles in his torso start to wake up. It was dark in his room, aside from the crack in the curtains that had a slit of sunrise coming through. He knew he wasn’t the only one awake in the house right now, but it was still quiet.

As he got closer to the home gym, he could start to hear the faint sounds of free weights clanking around. Though his dad was in here, Elio just gave a little wave went and did his own thing. Warming up with a 3-mile run on the treadmill. This was a chance for him to clear his mind. He had yet to speak to Lenora since the night of the party. He wasn’t sure even what to say to her since it was clear that she knew what had gone down in the parking lot. He had used his workouts as an excuse to try and forget. But the minute he was done, he was back focusing on his mistakes. Ideas of how he may make it up race through his head.

When he drove away from the house and down the hill of a driveway, he knew his sister was probably cursing at him for the loudness of his motorcycle. He decided to take the cycle today because it was the most freeing of his vehicles. On his way to school, well practice, he swerved in between cars and got honked out a few times but he didn’t care. He drove fast, and then when he thought was fast enough, he went fast. His grip tightening on the handles and his foot pushing the metal down all the way. Pulling into the back parking lot of his school, his wheels screeched to a halt on the black asphalt. He wasn’t the first one, coach was, then followed El. “Well, this isn’t a surprise, good morning Mr.Espostio. How’s your dad?” Asked the coach as Elio took his helmet off. Coach Cooper kept while to go and unlock the metal door of the building. “I’m sure he is planning how his team is going to take home the title again this year?” The older man said to Elio with a chuckle and patted him on the shoulder as he held the door open for El.

On the field Elio breathed in deeply through his nose as waited for the play to get called. He was tired of hearing Enrique argue with Coach again. He tried his best to block out his voice and to stay focused but within seconds of the play being called Elio was knocked over by a teammate who was playing defense. He groaned as his body hit the hard ground and he reached for his shoulder that aches immediately.

Coach called practice then and there. Everyone sprung to life, running almost into the locker room. When Elio got in there, he dropped his helmet on the ground. Letting everyone look over his way thanks to the bang it made when it hit. He let one arm raise while the other turned Ricky around to face him. His fit connected effortlessly with Enrique’s mouth. “What the hell was that, we are on the same team!” “Hey Elio, get off my fcking ass,” Elio knew he was going to get hit back, it was a given and he was ready for it but that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt any less. Everyone just watched as the tension rose in the locker room or maybe that was just steam from the hot showers. No, it was definitely the fight brewing. “You are so fcking selfish, get over yourself and let it go!” Elio yelled as his fingertips touched where he had gotten hit. His other fist clenched at his side. “I have to ask, how does it feel being a little pssy who can’t handle a tackle” Elio shook his head and let out a laugh. “Takes one to know right?” He questioned back his opponent. Elio knew where Enrique’s anger was coming from but still didn’t understand how he could just put it aside while playing a literal team sport.

Tyler returned the awkward smile Xavier gave him, and Mia returned his greeting with a smile. “How’ve you been?” She asked him. She knew Tyler would have trouble speaking, so she’d carry the conversation. She whispered this to him, and he gave her a grateful smile. Thank god for siblings. She may be annoying sometimes, but he didn’t know what he’d do without her. Xavier looked awkward too, he noted.

Senior Year was officially underway, meaning Logan’s life, even just barely into the year, was back into her typical busy routine. Wake up, get ready for football practice and get to school with just enough time to spare for a quick run. Then when football practice ended it would be time for class. By the time lunch would arrive, that would be her chance to either study or finish whatever homework she couldn’t do during class. After the next round of classes beyond lunch, Logan would get out of her last class a bit early to head out for track to make the timing work with another couple hours of football. By the end of practice, that was still nowhere near the end of Logan’s typical day. While the rest of her classmates would go hang out with their friends, most days that was when she would go in to work. After all, a girl has to pay her own bills somehow.

For now though, it was still the early part of Logan’s day. Logan was focused on the math notes she had in her hands so she didn’t pay attention to the girl nearby until she heard the girl crashing into the locker. Logan looked over to the girl who said she was alright with a questioning look. “Are you sure you’re alright there?” Logan was planning to head to class a few minutes early, but Logan could take a couple minutes of her time to check on a girl that face planted into the lockers.
