What could one say about Hartley? Pretty girl, that was for sure… other than that, eh. Not much Finley could tell you at least. Sure, they were dating for a bit but in his eyes that wasn’t anything special. There was never anything he considered special about relationships, especially not long distance ones. That’s what they had and at that time he thought it wouldn’t bother him that much but it turned out it did. It was noticeable in his actions. From dreading her calls because she wasn’t physically there to eventually kissing another girl at a party. And many other girls. How did she end up finding out? That’s another story that only angered him - this kid that always brought him bad luck and her stupid instagram live.
It was strange to be standing in front of her after some time of not seeing her. After that time she “forgave him” and ended up leaving him all alone in a room. Strange that she ended up in his school when she could’ve been literally anywhere else. But that didn’t bother him because everything that happened between was not something he cared about. And this little act she tried to put on, pretending she had no idea who he was… yeah, it was only making him more annoyed. His first day back in school was just perfect, wasn’t it? Having that bad luck kid spill her drink all over his car seats and now having his dear ex in front of him. Definition of a perfect morning.
”Oh, I’m sorry. I must’ve mistaken you for another Hartley Bowie I know,” trying to match her tone and that fake smile she had on, he slowly raised his hand. ”Name is Finley Klein. If this one idiotic kid didn’t spill her drink all over my car I’d ask you if you wanted to get out of this place but I don’t think that’d be pretty?” Both could play her game.
