Was she surprised by the fact someone tried to break into their house? Not at all, and it probably wasn’t a first time, that’s how life works when you have things worth enough money for people to steal and get financially stable in no time, but by someone she knew that’s definitely a first.

But this was definitely an unexpected turn of events that honestly kaya wasn’t really sure how she was supposed to handle, this wasn’t a proper burglar goes armed robbery, this was a weird teenage boy who broke into her house and started staring at a family picture out of nowhere, did I already say that’s a little suspicious?
