Blue Royalty: New Blood

If there was one thing that Xavier was grateful for in this whole situation, it was that he didn’t have to worry about confronting his biological parents. That being said, he wasn’t entirely sure how he was going to tell his parents about what he’s discovered either. “I haven’t spoken to my parents about it either. I don’t really know why though.” He said with a small shrug. “If this is too personal, you don’t have to answer but was your mom already married when she had you?” He asked, trying to figure out a way to see the situation from the point of view of their parents. He knew the circumstances that lead to his biological parents getting married and he wondered how they were different between their father and Richard’s mother. He saw the look in Richard’s eyes as he realized what he said. He really put his foot in his mouth this time. He took a deep breath before speaking. “Seven years ago.” He answered, looking at the ground. “I’m really sorry you had to find out this way. There are probably a million better ways I could’ve told you that but yeah, both my biological parents died in a fire when I was eleven.” He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.
