One thing people might not expect about Cynric was that he was an early bird; he valued time and he wanted to make the most out of each days he went by. This morning, before going to school, he didn’t forget to stop by his favorite candy shop for this week’s supply of sweets, and he even managed to get a free pack of guava candies—perks of being a loyal customer, right? Sadly, this wasn’t applicable is some more serious cases.
School was something Cynric liked. Not the actual purpose of it, no, but the fact that it was full of people. In fact, every setting where there are a lot of people, guaranteed there will be a Cynric to claim liking that setting. He greet a couple people as he entered the classroom, sitting down with his open bag on his lap for him to have fun on before the actual class. There weren’t many students yet; he hoped at least one of his classmates would be his friend. He could probably just open his phone for the social media, but he didn’t want to seem unapproachable for people.
“Hi.”
Cynric’s brows arched in immediate recognition of the voice. To immediately be recognized, one must be close to somebody. His relationship with Karen Hunter wouldn’t be described as “close,” though; it was just thanks to a certain, unforgettable event in the past that initiated this acquaintanceship. One that didn’t really matter anymore no matter what the time.
He smiled and waved back at her. “Good morning!” he greeted lightheartedly, reaching a piece of candy from his bag. He watched as she took the seat next to his before lifting it up to her. “Candy to start the first day?” he offered.
