It was the second week of school and she didn't even get a drop of sleep the night before. Sleep seems to be harder and harder to get lately. Although she had been up all night, she was not prepared at all. Almost being late to school. She cares about that though, unlike others. Running around her house at 7 am like a mad man, and having to toss whatever on. Total time taken: 15 minutes. Total time to get to the school: 15 minutes. If she pushed her foot on the gas pedal: 10 minutes. She bit the inside of her cheek as she pulled out of the driveway. Natalia waited until her house was out of sight to go a... little bit over the speed limit because if her parents found out, well it wouldn't be good. Her dad is like a bear to wake up. It isn't pretty. Uncle Dori was the only one to get him actually up in five minutes. Mom was close, but she took 10 minutes. Soon arriving at the one and only Cerulean High.
Speed Walking through the school became a habit for her. it’s as if time didn’t exist cause she was always falling behind. Accidentally bumping into quite a lot and muttering quick apologies then moving on. She came to a halt real quick when she saw her brother and Amie rushing away from him. She knew stuff happened between them. It was always awkward when Nat would be on a call with her and Alex would come into her room. She would give a quick ‘Sorry, I’ve got to go. I’ll talk to you later. Bye!’ and then hang up. She looked extremely stressed and Alex… well he looked scattered. It took her a moment before rushing over to him.
What does she say? Might as well just go for it. For being in these situations before, she isn’t the best at them. “Hey, what did I tell you about making them run… you’re not gonna score a date like that,” She jokingly shook her head, trying to lighten the mood a little bit. She awkwardly laughed before continuing,“But seriously, are you okay? What happened?” he might not even answer to it, but it was worth a try. Nat paused for a moment, considering the girl practically ran from him was not a good sign. “It’ll get better… eventually.” She spoke her best words of encouragement and hoped for the best.
