There was a moment when she stopped, her hand and the cup she was holding hovering over the table as she slowly looked back at Aj, making sure he could see her rolling her eyes. ”I don’t know if I’d rather roast you for what you just did. Try to convince you your God-like kung fu won’t get you anywhere or thank you for calling me an angel…” She added rather bitterly, of course in a joking manner since there was a hidden cheesy smile on her lips. But there was no point in hiding it, everything he would do would always make her smile, laugh… there was not a single thing she didn’t like. And he knew that very well, it felt like everyone else also did. They were blind if they didn’t; whatever stupid he did, Phoebe would join him with the biggest grin. You couldn’t count how many times she would copy his kung fu, trying to make herself look better and always miserably fail… two goofy looking kids in the school hallway. But this time she didn’t do it, she was preoccupied with making sure he felt better.
“Ooo tea, how lovely. Thanks, mom.”
Her hand that was on his cheek fell down to his chest, gently nudging him with a pout. ”You’re mean,” whispering, she scooted closer to him before letting her back hit the bed, shaking her head. ”Of course you’d want to know everything about it,” now she was the one to tease, referring to the fight that never actually happened. Just a figment of her imagination to mess with him. ”Oh… I can’t tell you, but it was one of your friends… It’s such a shame you missed it. They had to call an ambulance and all of that sh!t…" Straightening up, with a cheeky smile she was now sitting in front of him in the same position. Watching his reaction with entertainment before quietly continuing. "I’m joking, nothing happened but that would’ve been so much better than what I went through this morning…” Those last words were more of a mumble, not feeling like talking about her sister or Clara but still curious to what he would do and say… At times when she couldn’t go to Amie for advice, Aj or Mireya would be her second option but now was not the time. Maybe…
”Oh, Tangled!” But something she didn’t notice when she walked in caught her attention, exclaiming with excitement in an attempt to distract him from what she previously said. He had one of their favourite movies on… way better than school. Who can resist Flynn Ryder? Not Phoebe! Looking back at him with that sweet smile, she paused… opening her mouth to say something, that smile faltering but once again she stopped. Instead, she glanced down at his cup before quickly saying something. ”Do you want me to make you something?”
