“I… just can’t Alex… I can’t do this again,”
She pulled away from him, leaving again. The look she gave him, making his eyes well up for a second before snapping back into reality. Amelia was gone again, and there was nothing he could do about it. Alex loved her, and he kept messing up. He wanted his bestfriend back, and until he did he would not stop fighting.
Alex stood in the middle of the hallway, struggling to figure out what to do next. He got a little startled when his sister appeared in front of him. "I don’t think I’ll ever score a date"he started, frowning a little and looking down at the girl. “I… it’s just Amie. I messed up again. Well. I tried to run after her but she left again,” he sighed. “I really love her Nat. I think she believes it’s part of the game… I wouldn’t… I just miss her” He began to walk down the hallway, motioning for her to follow. “It will, hopefully” He slightly smiled, saying it with a bit of hope. A hope that some day the ignoring and the sadness finally ending and she will finally talk to him. “What do you say we skip class and get icecream?”
