Xavier took a deep breath as he considered how he was going to answer Sammy’s question, subconsciously fidgeting with the cuff of his shirt sleeve. It wasn’t a hard question, but for some reason, he was unable to decide on how he wanted to phrase his answer. “Well, they’re both my ex-boyfriends but it’s really only Tyler that I didn’t want to talk to,” He admitted, pausing for a moment before continuing. “Our breakup was a mess and the last time we spoke didn’t end well, so I’ve kind of been avoiding him.” He explained, not wanting to go into more detail than that, lest it bring up the memory of that conversation, one he’d spent a month trying to forget.
