Blue Royalty: New Blood

Today was his first day back unlike everyone else. He just got back from a trip all around Greece. His last stop was Nafplio. Oh to be in that beautiful town again, but no. He had to go back. As much as he loves to travel, he hates coming back. Here he is though walking through the halls of the school. He knew most of the people within the schools walls, well at least in his grade. So when he saw a familiar person that shouldn’t be here, he was surprised.

The girl, ehm Olivia, spoke up. Memories of their past flashed in his mind. They were… quite good memories. “Olivia?” She went on to say she was surprised when he could’ve swore he told her about where he went to school. Either way, they were both surprised. “What are you doing here-” They both stopped at the same time. He laughed and answered her question,“I go to school here, and you? It is nice seeing you again by the way.”

@CerealKiller ~ hi we can continue on misc if you want or end it sorry

She frowned slightly at the same time he did after he spoke. What did this girl do now. “Don’t let one girl destroy that ego of yours. I can’t believe I am saying this, but you have that ego for a reason.” was that mean? She was technically complimenting him, so no? At least she doesn’t know. Nat internally sighed as she listened to the story Alex was telling her. This girl and running. What is with her love for it? “Well, it has to be two-sided. Don’t put all your effort into something or a relationship if the other person isn’t reciprocating it back. You don’t deserve that.” he continued to go on about Amie. Ah, to go back to the way things were before. “If you really wanna win her over then, you have to find a way to try and show her that it isn’t a game. That you are serious about your guys relationship.” She was actually pretty good with this stuff. Maybe she should become a therapist.

She walked beside him as they continued down this long hallway. How even is this a legal hallway, it is so long? Hw spoke up again about ice cream and she instantly nodded. Who could say no to that,“Definitely, but I’m paying. Whose car?” She spoke before looking down the hallway. “the first one to the end of the hallway wins?” She spoke, waiting a moment for it to click before taking off.

@Megan ~ sorryyyy dont kill me, but we can continue on misc or end it here too.

Ah crap… he is totally in deep shįt right now. When is he not would be a good question? He stood up, towering over her. He actually forgot about the height difference. It has been three months and he has been in… well you know. He could see the steam practically flying out of the girls’ ears. Points, bet. Remember those things. “Lia- i’m… I am really really sorry.” Now that part isn’t really false. Did it start with the bet, yes. Did he feel bad still, yes. Did he realize he fûcked up, yes. He had a lot of time to think about that recently. “-and i know that doesn’t affect anything, but I just needed to apologize. I screwed up bad, really, terribly, disgustingly, utterly revolting bad.” He took his eyes from her and looked down at the puppy he was holding, licking him. A slight smile grew again, but he pet him one last time. “Here ya go buddy,” Maxon spoke to him before holding him out towards her.

Max actually left a few things at her place before he left. She probably burned them… or Pheobe. Honestly, he doesn’t know who scares him more? “Is it pointless? I know you hate me, but do you want some closure of sorts? We were in a relationship… even if that isn’t how it seems now.” he might’ve just asked for her to murder him, but maybe this could turn out to be a good thing. That good thing having a 1% chance of happening.

@benitz786 ~ hiiii, sorry it took so long and it is short, but if you’d like we can continue on the misc thread if you want or end it here?

No matter how hard Logan could try to justify giving Mason Mitchell the benefit of the doubt, she just couldn’t. She never could. There was something about him, something that wouldn’t let her put trust in him, something untrustworthy that only increased the more he tried to get her to trust him. She never liked when someone put up a facade to the world, cracks show up sooner or later, and the feeling of being lied to always put Logan on edge, and Mason was one of those people that she always felt on edge around. “You may have a point there, but a believable excuse works better to avoid an awkward conversation than some clearly fake response, Mason. Less can be more, you know.” Lies only lead to questions, and the more you could give some truth instead of a lie, the less problems would lie in wait to bite you in the end later. Less information was safer. Just enough and you can get by, but give too much and an inch becomes a mile.

Logan wasn’t taking his excuse for anything more than what it was, a lie, which brought him to change gears with a new subject. “Does it matter? Some of us have to work our *sses off for everything, and do assignments between classes.” She said, beginning to gather the class work she had sitting in front of her, only for him to comment on her having done the second question on the assignment incorrectly. “F**k…” she muttered under her breath as she quickly erased a part of what she had written before finishing gathering what she had and taking a few steps closer to look up at the man that was an entire foot taller than her. “Besides the point” she added, returning the topic of reference back to the previous subject. For the future, just remember that a partial truth can take you a lot further than a lie, Mason.”

It was quite possible that the actually knew where he lived and went to school, but the two pieces of information just didn’t click in her mind as she started at him in complete shock.

He wasn’t completely wrong, seeing him again was nice for her as well in a way, partly. It brought back lots of good memories, but also some painful ones that shouldn’t go anywhere else but stay inside her mind. Every good story has to have it’s bad sides doesn’t it? ”I moved here in the summer” she told him ”I live with my cousin now” she explained, not telling him why she moved because the thought of her parents was still so bloody painful. Does it ever get less painful? Hopefully, but I doubt it.

”its nice seeing you too.” she said quietly ”didnt think I’d ever see you again” she admitted. You must be asking yourselves why is she talking so much she was so shy five minutes ago? well that’s the thing, she is, but with people she gets to know, people she opens up to, she’s a whole different person, she lets go, she’s more fun, more confident. And callum just happened to be one of those people, people who knew her as she was. Which was good in a way, I guess.

Cal honestly thought he was never gonna see this girl again. When he first spotted her, he thought he was seeing things. Wouldn’t be the first time… but as soon as she spoke up he knew she was real. Which he could’ve still been hallucinating, but eh who knows. This will definitely be an awkward conversation, so just do what he does best. Try to make conversation. ”Oh really? Well welcome to Cerulean High then. If only i knew earlier I would’ve showed you around,” He winked with a friendly smile. Different place, might as well feel like a fresh start. He also did end up forgetting that he wasn’t here for the first two weeks so that wouldn’t be possible. But the thought counts. ”And who out of our wonderful classmates is your cousin?”

Liv all of a sudden got quiet with her words. Maybe the past impacted her more than him. Or maybe something happened at home so she was sent to her cousins? Or maybe they just wanted to hang out for a while? Either way he should not be digging for answers cause honestly it doesn’t really matter. Or- no. ”Sometimes i swear you’re a telepathic. I was gonna say that same thing again.”

@CerealKiller ~ ah same :yum:

”Thanks” she said with a warm smile as he welcomed her to cerulean high, a little late but it’s the thought that counts. ”no complaints so far” she added with a light chuckle, which wasn’t exactly true but it didn’t hurt to believe it, did it?

”Veronica” she answered as the boy asked who was that cousin of hers she was talking about. It made sense not many people knew of her relation to Veronica, when in fact even she didn’t know that part of her family until not too long ago. It was a whole new world for her, from the loss of her actual family to finding a new one, it was all changing, one step at a time.

”who knows maybe I’m a telepathic” she said with a shrug ”they say a magician never tells his ways for a reason” she added with a playful smirk ”but for what it’s worth it’s good to see you around this new place, familiar faces are always nice to be around” she told him with a soft smile ”how have you been? It’s been ages” she asked

An amused smile formed at the sound of his faltered tone of voice after the contact. Well, what did he expect after the way he had been talking to her? Especially after mentioning her parents.”Hey, beggars can’t be choosers, Montoya." Annie replied with a shrug and a small laugh when he told her he may not need her for whatever he had been mentioning, but yet to tell her what it was - despite Annie walking ahead. Annie then gave an eyeroll behind his back as he told her how to prevent him talking about her parents. Which Annie knew she didn’t really have to worry about since… she wouldn’t be speaking to him again after this, anyway. “Following you too close? Yeah, don’t worry, there’s no risk of that happening,” Annie remarked, repelled even at the thought of that.

Ricky then left to approach the target, Officer Montoya. Despite keeping a safe distance from them, Annie was still able to hear some of the conversation, watching it in a somewhat disgusted awe at the character Ricky had created through his lying in front of his father. Impressive, sure. Perhaps so much so on a concerning, need-to-take-fᴜcking-caution level. And from what she was seeing, it was obvious that there were some big issues between Ricky and his dad. But nothing that Annie would flippantly bring up as he did her parents, nor something that she yet cared about. So, she let that observa, tion pass as she swiftly took the car keys out of his hand and entered the now-unlocked car.

Annie was no stranger to speeding in a car to escape something. In fact, she was extremely familiar with the practice… but it didn’t necessarily make her good at it. Though after driving off the curb and almost into another car, Annie was quickly on the road and becoming increasingly out of sight for the Officer. As they began to approach the highway, the silence was finally broken by her. “You are one sick, lying bαstard, Montoya,” Annie commented, shaking her head half-jokingly.

As Ricky told her to go faster and turn on the lights, Annie narrowed her eyebrows at another one of his many requests to her. No one tells Annie what to do, and Enrique Montoya was not going to be the exception to that rule. “How about you stop telling me what to do for, I don’t know, like a goddαmn second?” She exclaimed in frustration after sounding the horn to a car that got in her way. Or, more so, she got in the way of.

Atrox Manor 31st October 2039
Villainy wears many masks, none so dangerous as the mask of virtue
For a house that carried a myriad of murder mysteries and ghost sightings, the building truly lived up to the stories. Abandoned for half a century, Atrox Manor was simply a shell containing pure lifelessness, surrounded by overgrown vegetation, the interior decorated with spider webs, creaky floorboards and inexplicable stains on the walls, as well as the odd rat weaving between feet. A cupboard that had been left by ghost hunters, which frequently visited, conveniently had left items, most significantly being Ouija boards. Though as well as that, secret rooms and basements loomed throughout the house, as if they were built with intentions of teenagers to sneak around with. But considering the new set of tasks that had been sent off, even without the haunted location, aesthetics and ghost stories, the night was inevitable to be a scary one.

”What did you do to your sister?“ As much as she tried to make that sound like a joke, there was some concern behind Elodie’s words. Things have… change once she came back home. Elodie’s been gone for four months only talking to her daughters via text messages but she didn’t think they would be mad. At least she wasn’t expecting Amelia to be mad since… there was nothing to be mad about. Well, that’s only what she thought because she didn’t know her daughter was there that day she left. Hearing everything that went down. She wasn’t expecting Amie to be unhappy once she saw her mother was back home but that was all she could see. Unhappiness, disappointment and this unbearable tension. No matter how much she tried to talk to her, there was nothing she could’ve done to make Amelia talk to her for more than a few seconds before finding an excuse to leave.

All Elodie could do was joke about that in hopes to figure out what was happening, and she did. Standing behind Phoebe who was sitting in front of her vanity mirror, Elodie forced an optimistic smile, hiding her confusion. ”Making your senior year hard for her?“ Putting bobby pins in Phoebe’s bun, Elodie watched her fake gasp, “offended” that her mother thought she was the reason Amie was, supposedly, acting weird. For a second that’s all she did - she was just looking at her mother in the mirror, before jokingly placing her hand over her heart and mouthing, ”Wow, really?” That’s when Elodie noticed her smile falter for a second, what she didn’t know was the reason behind it. All that Phoebe could think about was what she found in Amie’s room, something she yet has to talk to her about but didn’t know how to approach that topic. "Sorry mom but I have no idea what you’re talking about… you know I’m there to make sure she has the best senior year?” No matter how much something would worry her, at least there was Phoebe to make her smile. She was always there to do that. And recently Elodie felt like she was the only person she could talk to in that house, besides Xander. But he was often out with his friends and Elodie would stay all alone with Lexie.

”I know, I know,“ Elodie spoke softly as she sat down on Phoebe’s bed, now watching her daughter picking up her things and walking towards the door. ”Have fun tonight… And be safe,“ the last word she spoke before Phoebe left and all Elodie could hear was the sound of her boots, running down the stairs. The moment she was out of Elodie’s sight, that slightly forced smile she had on completely disappeared. Soon she was sitting in complete silence, nothing but the sound of her own breathing. God knows how long she’s been there, just sitting and blankly staring at the door in front of her before getting up and walking out of Phoebe’s room, closing it behind her. It might’ve been silent but she wasn’t alone. Lexie was sleeping in the master bedroom while the rest of her family was out. Phoebe, Amelia and Xander were out for Halloween but Riker… honestly, she had no idea where he was.

It was like she wasn’t even there, at least that’s what she felt like and it… hurt. She knew it was her fault but it still hurt. Just like Amie, he wasn’t talking to her much, refusing to sleep in the same room so she would spend the nights alone in a room they once shared. A room that didn’t feel the same without him there but there was nothing she could do about it. She could simply tell him what really happened, what was still happening but… she felt ashamed. Almost scared. How could she even try to find an excuse for the way she behaved? Sure, she wasn’t feeling like herself but her actions were still her actions and she was ashamed of that. Eventually, if she wanted to fix everything she’d have to tell him and her kids but now she just didn’t know how. It was not a secret she didn’t know how to approach problems, it’s not a secret that she runs away from her problems… this was just not the time for her to do that again. Was she getting better though? Yes, she was. She was getting help and now, standing in the empty hallway of her house, she didn’t feel the same way she felt before she left.

Flashback

Elodie could feel her hands shaking as she stood in front of her house, keys in her hands. It’s been four months since she has seen her family or heard their voices and she wasn’t prepared for what was coming, what she thought was coming or what she was hoping wouldn’t happen. As she stood there unannounced, many bad thoughts went through her mind. Endless possibilities. What if they don’t want me here? What if they hate me? What if… there’s another woman here? What if I messed it all up and they never forgive me… but my kids don’t know why I was gone. It’s alright… yes, it’s fine. They don’t hate me… or do they? What is Riker going to say when he sees me walking in? What if he tells me to leave? And so on… She was praying they would welcome her back with open arms even if she knew that wasn’t likely. Even she wouldn’t do that to herself so there was no point in hoping but she still did. It was making her calm down but it was also preparing her for a big future disappointment.

Turning the key as she was tightly holding onto her suitcase, she didn’t even notice she was holding in her breath before she walked in and saw that no one was there. A loud sigh escaped her lips the moment she left the keys on a little stand next to the door, unable to speak up. Too scared to call out someone and make sure she was really alone; she just stood in place as if she was waiting for something to happen. Waiting for someone to come out of the living room with a happy smile, waiting for someone to walk down the stairs and run to her, hug her… This false hope she still had but there really was no one there and in a way, it made her relieved. It gave her more time to think of what to do and say once her family comes back home.

The only thing she could do is bring her stuff back to her room and then just… walk around the house. See how much it has changed. Check Lexie’s room and find all the new clothes Riker bought her, as well as a little mermaid tail in a drawer making her chuckle to herself. Bringing back all those memories from when Amie and Phoebe were little in South Africa… All those happy days Elodie would look back on smiling but now, for some reason, it only made her sad… Then she would go back downstairs unprepared for Lexie’s toys all over the living room.

*

Door opening. She finally heard the door, making her heart skip a beat. She was in the kitchen, cleaning everything that was left on the counter when it happened, and soon she heard Phoebe and Amelia talking. As nervous as she was she couldn’t help but smile at the sound of their voice, knowing she was about to see them and hug them after such a long time. ”No walking around the house in shoes!“ With crossed arms and a big smile on her face, Elodie appeared in front of her girls, not paying much attention to their reaction before she rushed to hug them. Which might’ve been a mistake because if she gave them more time to says something, she’d see that one of her daughters was not happy and her actions wouldn’t hurt her as much. ”Come here,“ through a chuckle Elodie spoke up again, Phoebe being the first one to run to her mother’s arms and give her a tight hug. A smile not leaving Elodie’s lips, not for a second, as she held her. But before she could do the same thing with Amelia, she left with a lame excuse and words that… left Elodie confused and hurt. Tell dad I love him.
There was not a single reason Elodie could come up with to explain the way Amelia acted. Her mother who she loves just came back home, she was supposed to be elated but she looked like she was far from that. Luckily Phoebe was there to distract her with her own excitement, ”Finally!”
”Want to help me unpack?“ Managing to smile again, Elodie shifted her gaze from the door back to Phoebe, before once again pulling her in for a tight hug.

*

That night, once again but now back in her house, she slept all alone in her bedroom. Expected but not something she thought would continue happening. She knew her husband was hurt, she saw that when he got back home that day and she knew he would need some time but she wasn’t expecting he’d avoid her like this… That only made things worse because it discouraged her from trying to talk to him and explain herself. She was on his side of the bed, in that complete darkness staring in the direction of the door. Tired but too distressed to try and sleep for a few hours. That was until she heard Lexie crying, making her get up at that same moment but something stopped her when she reached the door, her hand resting on the handle. She could hear footsteps in the hallway and soon after Riker’s voice. He was faster than she was and… there was no point to go and check what was happening.

End of flashback

Crying… that’s what brought Elodie back to reality and she found herself leaning against the railing of the stairs just staring down at the living room. It was difficult taking care of a baby you haven’t seen in four months and never felt a connection to before, but she was trying… She was really trying from the moment she came back and saw her little daughter after such a long time. It would be a lie to say she didn’t feel overwhelmed with emotions because she did… It was overwhelming remembering how she felt about this new situation they were all in, knowing she missed out on Lexie growing up, her twins starting their last year… but it would all come back to this little girl Elodie was now standing over as she woke up crying. It was overwhelming holding her in her arms again and not being able to make her stop crying… To have her husband take that baby from her and immediately do what she couldn’t do. But she was slowly learning how to be patient again, how to care for her baby the way she did with her other kids… ”Heyyy, shh…“ Gently, Elodie picked up Lexie from her cradle, placing a gentle kiss on top of her head before walking to her little room to change her.

Phoebe did not care about Halloween as much as she cared about dressing up - that was the main thing making this day exciting. Of course, when she was younger, she loved the thrill of trick or treating and watching scary movies when she probably shouldn’t have but now there were only good parties, a chance to have the best costume. Who doesn’t love thinking about that in advance, changing around 10 ideas just to get to that perfect one? Phoebe sure does, why else would there be clothes all over her bedroom? She had this idea of what she wanted to be, but some last-minute changes made everything come together. Wasn’t she a lovely swan? Sure, maybe her corset was too tight and her “skirt” was too short but she still looked good.

After Amie walked out, Phoebe was left alone with their mom in her bedroom. It’s been a while since they’ve been like this and Phoebe missed every moment of it, missed talking to her mother and just having her around. Those 4 months she was away would’ve been a lot if Phoebe wasn’t on a vacation with her sister and some friends before their school started. The only thing that made her sad was her mother missing her first day, first senior day but Phoebe knew she was proud. But she was there now, helping her get ready. As soon as their conversation shifted to Amelia, the energy in the room changed. Both Phoebe and Elodie could see she was acting strange at times but Phoebe blamed it on her secret. Yes, she still didn’t know what that was about, and she was still trying to figure it out on her own. Not for a second did she think their mother was a reason for Amie’s odd behaviour.

”This is perfect,” Phoebe mumbled to herself, a huge grin on her face as took one last glance at herself in the mirror. ”But I have to gooo now,” in a bit of a rush, she walked over to her mother, giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek before picking up her purse and phone from the bed.

*

Was this going to be the first time Phoebe ignores her task and risks getting lower on the list, now when she was first? You can see that it was really bad because she was actually thinking about that. This night was going to be a long one and you never know what might happen but… but that? No. N-maybe. Not now. This was not the time for something like that but will there ever be a time for that? In Phoebe’s mind no, not because she didn’t want to and let me tell you how much she actually wanted it but… it was complicated. And the thought of messing everything up was actually scaring her. It worried her… enough to ignore who she was in a group with. Well… that might be a little lie. She was not happy, at all. Aj was like a God saving her from having the worst night of her life (no but literally, have you seen his costume?), while other two people were some of the last people she’d like to spend the whole night in a “haunted” mansion with.

It was fun walking around the mansion with friends before they all received that awful text. And one rule is that you can’t leave your group? Yeah, that won’t work. Who here is gonna tell her she can’t do that? Who here is gonna force her to stay the whole night with Maxon? Just watch Phoebe leave her friends the first chance she gets or when they start annoying the sht out of her.

Approachable, I guess? But I won’t be active for a while

Tsumuji loves Halloween. Sure it was spooky and she was easily frightened- but she just loves Halloween, she couldn’t really explain it. Perhaps it was the pumpkin carving, the decorations, the season, and the feeling of nostalgia she experienced whenever she saw a child trick-or-treating. Yeah, maybe it was that. The dressing up part didn’t appeal to her much, sure, dressing up was fun but then again it was her parents who selected her outfits for special occasions, so she didn’t really see the fun in it as she used to before. Before she used to dress like a pumpkin, a skeleton, a witch or her favorite princess so growing up had been hard. Now really it seemed like kids her age only saw the fun in dressing up to appeal to others, halloween was only about hookups and drinking. Tsumuji remembers when it was all giggles and dressing up as whatever she liked, her parents didn’t mind much then. Nevertheless she loved Halloween, especially spending it with friends.

Receiving the groups for halloween relieved Tsumuji a lot, it was people she knew and was in friendly terms with. Lucky there was no one who was rude and egoistic.

Seeing the Atrox manor sent chills down her spine, she had heard a lot of rumors about this place and she was afraid. She wasn’t sure if it was true, but it was pretty terrifying. “But then again what is halloween without the scare?” Tsumuji said trying to be optimistic. A smile was on her face as she entered, walking she saw Eddie. He was part of her group and Tsumuji was happy about that. She approached the videoing guy “HI!” she greeted giving him a friendly smile. “What you doing?”

Embry adjusted her ponytail one last time before getting out of the car and taking her bag from her mom. “I’ll see you tomorrow, mum.” She told her, waving as she walked away from her mother. Embry always thought that Halloween was one of the most fun nights of the year and this year, she was spending it in a haunted house with her classmates. She walked up to the house, the eerie feeling of the building adding to her excitement.

As soon as she entered the building, she got a message on her phone, telling her that she was being placed in a group with some of her classmates. As she read the list, one name, in particular, stood out. Daiane Meyer. It had been a while since she’d last spoken to her and for good reason. The incident leading up to their breakup had been really messy and had essentially destroyed any trust Embry’s parents had in both her sister and her.

Taking a deep breath, she continued further into the manor, sliding her bag onto her shoulder. As she walked past a cupboard containing Ouija boards, she made a note of where it was, thinking that it might be fun to use at some point during the night. When she finally found her group, she put her bag down on the ground, walking up to the girl whose name had stood out on the list. “Hey, Daiane.” She greeted her. “This place is pretty cool, right?”

After painting his face ghostly white and dressing up, Adonis headed to the party. He wasn’t really sure about going after seeing the list but maybe he could escape? He will fill a way- he sighed. ‘Why did he go again?’ alright Kali forced him to.

Adonis arrived at the party. The house the party took place in was quite ‘spooky’, Adonis recalled the countless stories he had heard from this place. He shrugged, “It is what it is.” If he died well he died- hopefully he dies before he sees her again. He wasn’t sure what she had planned coming here and he didn’t want to know.

Adonis found his group. Luckily there was no sign of her yet “Hello.” Adonis greeted Leon, who he wasn’t really close with but they were on a friendly spectrum.

“정말 오고 싶지 않으세요?” Leon asked his roommate as he got himself ready to leave. “Leon, 난 괜찮을거야. 내 친구가 와서 하룻밤을 묵는다.” She reassured him, stepping back and leaning against the wall. “진지하게. 내일 아침에 데리러 가야 하는 경우가 아니면 문자를 보낼 수 없습니다. 알았어요?”" She added, raising an eyebrow. “괜찮은.” He sighed as he gave in, walking over to her and giving her a quick hug before walking out the door.

He called himself an Uber, not wanting to take his car to this place, especially when he was staying the night. While he was on his way there, he messaged his sister to let her know what he was doing. Since they no longer lived together, she was very adamant that he tell her whenever he was doing something interesting, so that she could pester him with questions after the fact.

When he arrived at the manor, he couldn’t help but admit that he was impressed. The building, illuminated by the moonlight was eerie and drew him towards it as he left the vehicle. As he walked closer, he received a text message telling him that he was in a group with four of his classmates. One of whom was Adonis, someone he was friendly with. He entered the building and found his way to where his group was. Shortly after he got there, Adonis also arrived and greeted him. “Hey,” He returned with a small smile. “How’ve you been?”

Halloween. The day for everyone to dress up and just be different characters for once. This was his favorite time of the year because he always had fun looking up what costumes to wear. This time he picked Edward scissorhands. He looked at the mirror in awe at how it came out. Edward was his favorite movie character. He was just…awesome. His dad helped him find a good makeup artist so he was proud of how he looked. While looking in the mirror he snapped the suspenders against his shirt and walked out of the room. He made sure to get the best clothing items he could find. His dad also helped him find an outfit and stuff but of course he isn’t around to see the end result because of business stuff. His mother was downstairs and he went to show her how the costume came out. She looked up from her dinner. “OMG THAT’S SO GOOD.”
She said while laughing. "Thank you, thank you. He did a fake bow. He could tell she was a little down so he was glad she was smiling just a little.

Elijah drove to the abandoned “haunted” house. He believed in ghosts but he didn’t believe this place was haunted and whoever ran the BR sight was just messing with them. Hopefully no one was stupid enough to believe it he thought when he first reaf the website post. When the car arrived there weren’t many people around the house. He knew he was in a group with some people that he knew and was good friends with, so at least the night wouldn’t be boring . When he found out that he had to spend a night at this mansion, the first thing he thought about was he had to stay with a bunch of people that might use their fake weapons or whatever to kill each other if there was any altercation…well popcorn would help ease that “worry.” The only person he saw from his group was Tyler. “Boo” He put the fake hands in front of his face to scare him.

Annie and the road had a love-hate relationship. She loved to be on it, but the road hated her to be. Driving was, in fact, one of the more common reasons for her past arrests. After losing Angela, her beloved green bronco, in the forest fire, Annie had spent the last three months talking her way into getting rides from other people; or even borrowing other people’s cars to drive herself from those who don’t know her well enough to be aware of her lack of driving capabilities. Which, considering the last fact, meant when asking her mother to borrow her car to drive to the Halloween party was moderately unsuccessful. “Nope, no way, no, no if you’re going to a party I’m driving you.” Sadie easily responded.

After a while of attempted negotiation from Annie wanting to drive herself, she finally got in the passenger seat of her mother’s car. “So, your dad will pick you up in the morni-”
“Speaking of dad…” Annie interrupted her mother at the slight mention of him, jumping on the opportunity to confront the past few weeks of uncertainty.

Annie had spent almost a decade watching, and vicariously living on, Sadie and Jordan’s emotional roller-coaster post-divorce. And after everything, her happiness was heavily based on their happiness. Selfishly, Annie wanted them to come back together as it would tell her that maybe it wasn’t her fault they divorced in the first place. At the time of it happening, the millions of fans viewing from the outside, and even- slightly more subtly- her siblings, were quick to see (and very much point out) the suspiciously short time between Annie’s adoption and Sadie and Jordan’s divorce. There were no such thing as coincidences for those seeing it. So if Sadie and Jordan were to come back together even though she was still there… maybe it wasn’t her fault in the first place. That, plus the painfully obvious love that any fool could see was still between them, had caused her to become substantially invested in their everchanging relationship.

“Oh my God, I haven’t even said anything and you’re already smiling, I think that answers enough,” Annie rolled her eyes, though a smile formed on her face too at the seemingly positive developments in her parent’s relationship. “So… is there-?” She very vaguely asked the question, knowing that it would be enough for Sadie to know. “No… yes- yeah, I mean I don’t know, but maybe kind of yes, I’m not completely sure right now, but- yeah,” Her mother’s response was, not giving Annie too much to work with. “Cool. Good to know,” Annie responded as the car pulled into the nearby road of the venue. Jumping out of the car, Annie displayed an air of nonchalance to appear less invested in the relationship than she actually was. “Well I’ll be repeating that question upon pick-up. So expect a report back to you, you’re welcome,” She concluded, waiting for Sadie to drive out of sight before allowing her excitement to creep through for a moment.

Arriving in the manor, which… did have a name that Annie had known at some point, she assessed the venue. Being a fan of horror movies, Annie had high standards for what is classed as haunted and scary. Walking inside, she officially classed the scare-factor as… pretty average. What she could see was a room full of gimmicks, definitely fake blood on the walls, and floors that just needed… whatever is used to fix creaky floors. So, it was needless to say, being scared wasn’t going to be the problem of the night for Annie. The group she had to be with for the duration… that easily achieved biggest problem award for the night.

Walking over to the general area that her group were floating around, Annie was faced with Paige Pierce, someone she had frequently clashed with - and was bound to do so if she had to spend the entire night with. So, Annie would save them the trouble. “Don’t worry, Paige, I’m not in this whole Blue Royalty thing, so no obligations for me to ‘stay in the assigned group’, thank God,” She told her, heavy emphasis on the final words to establish the mutual feeling with Paige’s disliking towards her.

Tyler got out of the car with Mia, adjusting his pine tree hat. Mia headed off to her group, but not before flashing her brother a fake braced smile, a stuffed pig held in her arms. Tyler headed over to his own group, looking around. Where was every-“Boo!” Tyler whipped around, instinctively hitting the person with the object in his hand, which happened to be journal #3. “Sh*t, Sorry! Um…I don’t recognize you with the wig and makeup.” He said awkwardly.

Adonis was still iffy about the ‘stay in your group thing’ After all this wasn’t a kid’s field trip and in no way did he want to see her again, he had erased all trace of her from his memory and he wanted to keep it that way. She could be so annoying.

“Hey,” Leon responded, “How’ve you been?” Adonis shrugged, “Neutral, I guess.” Adonis ran a finger through his hair “What about you?” He asked the male in a yellow sweatshirt and the other stuff. “So… what are you dresses as?” He asked. The outfit looked meh but then again who was Adonis to talk? He wasn’t some fashion diva or anything.

Niko walked out the door of their house, lifting the kimono they’d borrowed from their sister off the ground so that they wouldn’t trip on it. They got into the car that was waiting for them and made sure their driver knew where he was taking them. While they were being driven to the location, they lowered their mouthpiece so that it was hanging around their neck.

The thought of spending the night in a haunted house was, for the most part, terrifying to them. They had a very strong belief in the supernatural, especially concerning malicious spirits and as they pulled up to the manor, they knew that if evil spirits were going to be anywhere, it would be in this building.

They slowly walked up to the manor, looking at their phone as they received the text message with their group. Oh great. They thought as they saw one name in particular. They put their mouthpiece back in their mouth as they finally entered the manor, carefully walking around until they found their group and despite their better judgement, walked towards one of their group members. “Chad.” They greeted him, stopping beside him and once again pulling their mouthpiece down.

October 31, otherwise known as ‘halloween day’. The day everyone could dress up as something they weren’t- well except if you just wore a tacky shirt that said ‘this is my halloween shirt’ or you’re witch on halloween and a b!tch in school. Anyways, Halloween was also the day Nevaeh didn’t care much for, except for the dressing up part. Sure the parties and aesthetic were fun but the season was just not for her. Especially since a lot of people try to be either ‘scary’-failing miserably of course or ‘sexy’ and again they fail and Nevaeh just had to shake her head and laugh. And if their not doing any of that their dressing up as characters- which Nevaeh loves to do but they just dress so ‘terribly’ as the characters, she had seen way better child cosplayers. Hopefully it was different here. Nevaeh brushed her hair and applied her make up.
Before leaving the house Nevaeh wrote a letter to a friend, tomorrow would be their birthday and she wanted to surprise them with a letter and gift. The friend of her’s was someone who used to train under her sister and so them being the same age… her sister introduced the both of them.

Finally done, Nevaeh drove herself to manor. She exited the car and walked to the entry. She had heard a lot of stories of this place from her American friends. About seeing ghost and how scary it was, Nevaeh rolled her eyes, 'it just looks dirty, but then again a dirty place is terrifying." She entered the house. Now the interior was filled with spider webs, ouija board and some weird stains that probably was supposed to look like blood? Americans were weird, Nevaeh thought.

‘Stay in your assigned groups’ Ari rolled her eyes. Great she was now a toddler again- well actually that won’t be to bad. It would mean that the brat bong cha wouldn’t be born. sigh That would be the dream. Done applying her makeup and wearing her costume Ari went downstairs and awaited her driver to come.

Her driver had finally arrived, took him long enough. Ari was really kind to wait for him, she really deserved the best person ever award. They drove in silence and Ari thoughts were concentrated on her group ‘Great! They couldn’t have put me in a worst group.’ At least the lemon haired colored girl is in there there. God she was so dumb and gullible, what was the girl’s name again? ‘Maya? Leah? Gunther? Mia?’ probably the latter.

Finally arriving at the party Ari went inside the manor, she shuddered a little ‘it’s so creepy ew’

School day
The fight was not meant to happen, and the consequences were definitely going to hit hard for Elio once he calmed down. When he is actually able to understand what happened. The minute Enrique talked about Lenora it caused Elio to get angrier all over again. He had already knocked the guy to the ground at this point and punched a locker. He balled up his fists and held them close to his sides. He needed to try and gain a little composure. It wasn’t anyone else’s relationship, so he had not right brought it up anyways. It was not a trouple. Then when Elio saw the small smile grow on Enrique’s face it made his blood boil. Why was he so irritating? Elio didn’t know why this boy had such a way of getting under his skin. He said the right things to push his buttons and that always set Elio over the edge. Usually, he wasn’t in a group of people he knew when he found ways to take his anger out but punching Enrique was so satisfying. He deserved it, Elio for sure was not the only one in the school who has wanted to do this. In a way, he was also doing it for them. Ricky hurt many people, including his own family which Elio did not understand at all! His family was most important to him and couldn’t imagine doing something out of spite to get back out of them.

Elio sat on a bench now, his hands clutching the bench in a grip that was causing his fingers to go white and hurt. Like when you hold a steering wheel in your grip during a snowstorm and driving 80 MPH on the interstate. Of course, Rick had to just get one last thing in before hobbling away. “you would be a sh!tty brother,” “well it takes one to know, right?” Elio let the words roll right off his tongue. Ricky had no reason to be slandering the way he is or would be as a brother when he is the worst of them all. Not only was Elio p!ssed with Enrique for being the d!ck he is but also with himself for now letting him get benched for the next game.

Halloween

Halloween was one of the dumbest days of the year to Elio, yet he was here at this “haunted” mansion. His shirt said his mood completely. It was quite a difference to his sister, Sienna, though she had a reason. She liked the costumes, well the fashion behind it at least. She tried very hard to hard to get him to wear something she had sketched out but instead, he stood here now with a pair of jeans and a simple tee on. His family didn’t celebrate it too much, usually stayed home where they would carve pumpkins together but never really went trick or treating because of the paparazzi. His parents didn’t want the kids to be put into a dangerous situation and then once their brother passed away, they were much more watched and kept under an eye.

He knew people would be working on their tasks tonight, Elio knew he wouldn’t be and he was okay with that. He did accomplish one at the last party, but tonight’s was for sure not on the agenda. but As he walked around this mansion and saw people he knew; he was actually really searching for one person in particular.

The blonde locks that were oh so familiar to him stuck out, but his eyes also couldn’t help but take in her entirely. She in comparison to Elio did wear a costume and she wore it well. He let a small smile make its way on his lips as he walked over to her through the people. The blue she wore made the blue in her eyes stand out even more in the dim light that was most likely strategically made to set the mood of the party. “Trick or treat”

It’s been too long since they actually spoke more than just a text now and then. It has been hard for him not to speak to her too because she was someone, he could be comfortable with. She, Mateo, or his sister and as of lately only his sister was around. “You look great tonight; well, you always do but good costume choice.” Other girls were here tonight but none compared to what he thought of Lenora. At the last party, she spent her night with JP and that made him jealous. They are just friends yeah yeah yeah but still Elio couldn’t help but get nervous. He never knew when a breakup would actually be the real deal and that guy swoops in and take his place. He didn’t want this to happen and wouldn’t even know truly what. He would do it if it did.
