Lyonrad kept his eyes on the box, watching it as it moved to Kara’s hands. A brow rose at her comment on the size of the box, but nodded seemingly in agreement when she finished it with something relieving. His ears perked up at the sound of her question, his heart skipping for a beat.
“No, I didn’t pick you, I was forced.” Oh, how he wished he could say that and more. He tried to keep himself straight, but there was a lot of hatred and regret going in his mind… which was all because of Daniel. He’s gonna pay, he thought. If there was anything Lyonrad didn’t want, it would be to lose. Though the chances of it were low, it was what he wanted for now.
“… why not?” he said, managing to pull a smile to the girl. To think about it, Kara would actually be a good date for the prom. The atmosphere she brought to him told him, at least. “I didn’t want to miss out the chance.” He also needed to be away from Elodie… hopefully. “So is it a yes or no?”
