As Daniel walked away from the girl, he couldn’t turn around. Usually, he’d enjoy the fall out of what he said - watch as his words sunk in. But Daniel couldn’t… and he didn’t exactly understand why. Though the thought escaped his mind as Daniel found the person he had looking for the whole time. “Ahh, well if it isn’t Maverick Weston,” Daniel smiled as he approached the man. “Just the guy I was looking for. I need to… how do I say it… collect on a favor that you owe me.” Daniel explained - knowing exactly the words that were about to come out of his lips.
“Before you say that you owe me nothing, I’d rethink that thought,” Daniel whispered - pulling his phone out with a picture of baby Weston’s mug shot. “See - I can either ask you for a favor, or I can ask your sister? Which one do you prefer?”
