Malachi had been looking around, seeing what was going on around the party, and one girl in particular he had noticed as she was on the dance floor. Elodie DeLoughrey. Eventually, she actually decided to walk up to him. He smirked slightly then smiled at her. “Hello, Elodie. Its been a while, but its nice to see you again.” He watched her facial expression, and he knew enough about her to notice the slight strain in her smile. She certainly hadn’t expected him to be there. Malachi didn’t tell anyone that he knew, that he would be there. The only person in the building that had any idea of Malachi coming, was Daniel Parker, due to some discussions they had when Malachi was enrolling at the school. “I’m here for prom, didn’t want to miss it now that I’m spending the rest of the year at Cerulean high.” He leaned in to whisper in her ear. “I haven’t said anything to anyone, and I won’t. Don’t worry.” He knew she’d be surprised, and that she might have some concerns with him there. He smiled at her. “Care for a dance?”
