At this point I wouldn’t know what to do if things were easy.” He told her and smiled genuinely as he spoke. He had gotten used to his life being basically a tornado at this point and if it weren’t that way it would be boring to him. He’s gotten used to it and everything with Jezebel wasn’t even an inconvenience at all. He wanted to help her if she needed it. “You somehow make me smile despite everything falling apart.” She leaned her head against him and he leaned down, kissing the top of her head before moving back a bit but keeping his palms on the small of her back. “I need to do something quick. Don’t move.” He said to her and gave her a quick peck on her lips before turning on his heels to walk through the crowd, looking back at her with a smile.
When had met Jezebel formally at the beginning of the school year he made a big gesture to make her happier and that’s his plan now too. He walked towards the stage, struggling to get through the workers and security but finally getting up on the stage and tapping Jordan on the shoulder. “Yeah, can I borrow that.” He asked even though he didn’t wait for a response and grabbed the mic from his hand. He cleared his throat and was happy there wasn’t music playing and he came up between songs, “uh—hey everyone I’m Mikel you might know me…anyways uh—“ he was nervous and his voice was shallow. He took a deep breath and looked over the crowd, stopping on Jezebel. “So this is really cringe but I just thought I would publicly let everyone that the beauftiul Jezebel Sloane is my girlfriend and I couldn’t be happier to have her in my life.” He licked his lips and shrugged. “Yeah!” He lifted his hand, holding a peace sign. “Thanks.” He handed the mic back to Jordan, sort of putting it into his chest and hoping he had a grip on it. He made his way back through the crowd to jez and smiled at her. “Hope I didn’t embarrass you too much but I thought everyone needed to know that you are mine and I wouldn’t change that for anything.” He bit the inside of his cheek a little nervous to hear what she was going to say.
