Ruby parked her car, getting out and grabbing her backpack. She’d heard of this camping trip that was going on, and decided to go for the heck of it. She had nothing better to do, so whatever. Knowing her, she’d probably end up getting lost in the woods, but she didn’t care. Her own well-being wasn’t much of an issue to her. As long as she got through her adventures in one piece, it was fine. She just had to survive. She walked into the school, heading to her locker. She sighed, grabbing her books and putting them in her bag, before slipping the straps over her shoulders.

Marie pulled into the parking lot, parking and grabbing her backpack, locking her car and heading into the school. She was both excited and nervous for the camping trip. What if she had to share a tent with a girl? That caused extreme anxiety for the girl, because pretty much all of the girls she knew and had crushes on were straight, and that tore her up inside. Oh well…she’d most likely get paired with a girl, so she’d better keep herself from inadvertently outing herself because of teenagers being ho*ry. “Hormones.” Marie giggled to herself quietly, heading into the school, stopping at her locker. She had one of the songs she wrote stuck in her head, and was softly singing along, lost in her own thoughts.
