A tired sigh left his lips as he walked into his condo - spending most of the last three hours yelling and consoling one Daniel Parker. A person who had promised to pick up his act after the conversation - and Jordan believed him. Though not many would believe the man, Daniel Parker wasn’t a bad person. Just… misunderstood. A man that made mistakes, but who hadn’t made mistakes? Jordan definitely had. Multiple times. But the difference was Daniel’s had a fix. A way to turn back before it was too late. And all Jordan had done was remind him of that.
Jordan had grabbed a blanket from his closet, about to head to the couch when he heard a muffled sound from the bedroom. Concern instantly encompassed his features and leaving the blanket on the bed, Jordan moved towards the bedroom - slowly knocking to make sure he wasn’t disturbing her before opening the door to find Jezebel crying. He wasn’t sure if she was doing so in her sleep or if she was awake, but it broke him to see her like that. Instinctively moving towards her, Jordan sat towards the edge of the bed gently shaking her from the nightmare. “Jez, shh. It’s just…” he wanted to say nightmare… but for an odd reason, he had a feeling that her dream mimicked her reality currently. “It’s over now,” he mumbled instead - brushing the sweat from her forehead gently. “Shh, it’s okay,” he whispered. After a few moments, with her asking him to stay, Jordan ended up wrapping his arms around her as she slowly fell asleep in them - as she used to do only a few years ago.
Jordan would have left the moment she was asleep, not wanting to impose - but his hand was trapped under her body and he was too scared he’d wake her up with even the slightest movement and she had already lost enough sleep. So instead of leaving, Jordan kept his arms wrapped around her, whispering a simple “I promise it’ll be better when you wake up”, before falling asleep like that - awaking a few hours later with his phone ringing from Daniel Parker asking for his help.
Jordan agreed immediately, leaving a chaste kiss on the sleeping Jezebel’s head as he slowly left the room and started making breakfast - letting Daniel’s dogs in when he arrived - who almost immediately ran to Jezebel to wake her up for the surprise. Though Jordan remained silent, letting Daniel and Jez have their moment - making enough food for all three.

Jordan drove his car, reaching Jezebel’s house. Daniel was leaving that morning and so Jordan had asked if the man minded if he picked Jez up instead of the driver. After all… Jordan and Jez still hadn’t had that talk yet. As he reached the door, Jordan honked his horn as the driver usually did - putting his fake “driver” hat on as Jezebel exited the house. A bright smile on his face as she came inside. “Good morning Tinkerbell. My name is Jordan Williams and I’ll be your driver for the duration of this day. I was informed that the first place you needed to go to was school?” Jordan mimicked in Daniel’s British accent, jokingly, wiggling his eyebrows in an attempt to hear that sweet laugh he missed so much.
