Jezebel had not been at the party long when someone else had arrived soon after her. Not just anyone, but someone that those already at the party did not recognize. That same unknown individual walked over to Jezebel, introducing himself as Calen. With a slight nod Jezebel said, “That I am, and you are certainly correct on that. Keep your friends close. And enemies closer, but at a time like this even the closest of friends are also our enemies. I’m Jezebel Sloane, and you Calen certainly have become well acquainted with this competition fairly quickly for being new around here.” Jezebel looked Calen over, wondering how being new to the area would impact him in his attempt to earn a place among the Blue Royalty. It would have advantages and disadvantages for sure. “What’s it like to be the underdog here, not knowing anyone here? Not knowing anything you can use to your advantage against anyone. Though I suppose it also means there’s nobody with dirt on you yet. Though, I’m sure it won’t be long before someone here has something to hold over your head.”

As the unnamed girl (who later introduced herself as Jezebel Sloane) started talking, his eyes perhaps not-so-subtly scanned above, around and behind her at the many new faces glimpsing back at him, shooting back a smile at some of them. Then his eyes circled back to Jezebel, looking her up and down just as she did him. She didn’t seem like much of a threat, but he’ll stay cautious anyway.

“The underdog, is that what I am?” He repeated, with eyebrows raised, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Calen had already weighted out the positives and negatives about being new, and he has tried to focus on the positives. That he had complete control over what people knew and didn’t know about him, that he has no relationships with anyone to sacrifice by completing a task and that he would be seen as the underdog. He had a feeling he’d be seen as one but he didn’t expect it to be said literally seconds into his first conversation. “Well, maybe I have no dirt for people to find.” He suggested with a shrug. “Therefore if you were trying, you might be looking for a long time.”

“So could you give some insight into what Cerulean High is really like?” He inquired. Calen had obviously done some research into the school, as well as Blue Royalty. It was one thing getting information about the students on the teacher-written, eager-to-please school website, but getting information from a senior who has the daily Cerulean experience is another.

AALIA BHADURI

Engine revving. Windows down. Music at full blast. It was a feeling of bliss: the high speeds; the adrenaline coursing through her veins; those brief moments of recklessness. It was a feeling she lived for.

Aalia swerved left. In the passenger seat beside her sat Daniel Parker, held only by a seatbelt. A car honked; Aalia had cut them off. She laughed aloud, feeling the breeze ruffle her hair. Lowering her signature black shades down, one finger on the bridge of her frames, she grinned: a big, wide Cheshire Cat grin. Moments later, she glanced at Daniel. She looked to the windshield, then back, then gestured to her ears. “What?” she shouted. Had to, because the music was that loud.

A devious smile crossed her lips. If there was something he’d said, she hadn’t heard. She just cranked the radio up louder and threw her head back with a laugh. Smoothing her bangs out, Aalia reached a hand to open up the vanity mirror. A single bracelet adorned her wrist: freshwater pearls, unified with twine. It matched with the white polish of her nails. The blinding, chalk white rebelled against the pièce de résistance: a black one-shoulder bodycon. Its colour clashing. Monochrome.

She thought back to it. Blue Royalty. The tasks played out in her head. Nothing out of her comfort zone; she was going to end this day with fifteen points to her name. And there was nothing, or no-one, that could deny her that. Aalia had one goal in mind: and that was to win. Call her an egotist. Call it pride. She had everything it took.

As she parked in the driveway of Rockefeller Residence, she eyed something in the cupholder between herself and Daniel. For a second, Aalia toyed with the idea. Then, impulse took over. “Guess who’s getting disqualified tonight?” she cut a smirk, holding it up to her ear, in full view of Daniel Parker. She spoke, trying not to burst out into fits of laughter, “Oh? What was that Mr Phone? Your password is 6-3-7-1?”

But by this point, Aalia was long since out of the car: Daniel’s phone in one hand and the threat of stealing a glimpse of his challenges in the other.

And she was heading into the beating heart of the party.

Delilah Rose Hawthorne

The conversation with Dominic quickly got to the point where it was no longer bearable, she raised her eyebrows as he struggled to answer her question on hooking up. God, why are people so sensitive? She thought to herself, disapproving of the guy that sat before her. Since opening a conversation with him seemed to be near-impossible, Delilah knew if she wanted this night to be a good one, she cannot be wasting her time on dull people such as himself.

“Okay. Well. I’m going to go, to…” Delilah looked around at the crowd that had expanded immensely in the sparse time they had conversed. Then her eyes circled back to Dominic. “…find someone more interesting to talk to. Good luck on your big, yet unattainable, dreams of becoming Blue Royalty.”

Upon leaving her exchange with Dominic, she walked in the direction of the entrance and was taken out of her thoughts by someone crashing into her. “Could you watch where you’re going?” She demanded, looking straight down at her own outfit, to ensure it hadn’t been tainted or creased. When her eyes left her clothing, she realised who the figure was. Candice Clarke. Delilah sighed but approached her anyway in the hope that Candice would be more engaging than her ex-lover.

Delilah scanned Candice with her eyes, stopping on the plain red dress she had chosen to wear. Was she really wearing that? She wondered. Everyone knew that black hid that extra baby weight. But the poor fashion choice was quickly forgotten when it was painfully obvious that Candice had not entered the party sober. Delilah laughed, Candice was in no way going to survive the night in this state. Nor was she even going to be able to think about her tasks, let alone do them. So that automatically ruled Candice out of the race. Because it was loud, Delilah leaned forward slightly so Candice’s drunken self could have a chance at understanding what she was about to say.

“Well, leaving a party like this is very much your style.” Delilah declared. “But, how exciting, you decided to switch it up. I hope your aware that this doesn’t mean you’re magically going to be able to leave the party sober.”

Daniel Parker:

“I AM GOINGGGG TO DIEEEEEE,”

Daniel shrieked in fear as he held on to his seat for dear life - the only item constraining him to the car being a flimsy seat belt which, at this point, truly felt as if it was not enough protection… especially not in a car with Aalia Bhaduri. Dread filled his body as the car swerved once again – causing his body to jerk in the opposite direction. Why the hell he hacked into all the red lights on their route to make it green for both of them – he will never understand. It was a mistake – one that he would learn from in the future. Hell, he was never getting in a car with Aalia again… that is if he lived to make it out of this one.

“AALIA I WANT TO LIVE PAST THE AGE OF 18 THANK YOU VERY MUCH,” He screamed over the music, though groaned as she only responded with a point towards her ears and a “what?’ – obviously doing it on purpose so she wouldn’t have to hear him ranting. Yep. This was it. The last night he would f.ck!ng live. Sh!t.

Daniel had his eyes closed for the rest of the trip – sighing in relief as he felt the car stop. “Aalia, I’m going to find my own ride home,” he muttered. Usually – he would have jumped out of the car and kissed the ground. Yes, he was that thankful that the car had stopped. However, this was not the night to make foolish moves. He had a list to complete.

”Guess who’s getting disqualified tonight?”

Daniel couldn’t help the involuntary roll of his eyes as the girl retrieved his phone and attempted to unlock it. Problem was – he knew Aalia too well now. A smile reached his features as she inputted the ‘password’ only for it to come up with it being incorrect. “I’m disappointed that you don’t know me well enough to know that I change my password every 24 hours – you know I don’t take security lightly,” He stated taking a step out of the car and sending a silent prayer to whoever was looking out for him that allowed him to make it out of that maniac’s driving alive.

“Though, Aalia, I suggest you give me my phone back, or I’ll just as easily hack into your text messages and disqualify you,” he stated – putting his hand out as he walked into the party, next to the girl. He knew he wouldn’t do it – it was a cowardly way to win the game and he had no interest in people perceiving him as such.

Daniel smiled as he looked around at the party – motioning the bar to the girl beside him as he walked in that direction. “I’ll take a beer and for the lady, she’ll have a martini on the rocks, shaken not stirred,” he stated – knowing Aalia’s drink of choice by heart. In reality – Daniel was just grabbing the drink for the illusion of getting drunk, but he had no intention of taking even a sip. The girl, however. Well – he’d have to get her back for that god awful car ride. “Here ya go,” he told the girl as the drinks arrived – handing her the martini with a smile. “Your ready?”

It took Candice a few moments for her inebriated mind to realize who she had even bumped into, let alone the words escaping the girl’s mouth. Her mind was a buzz – the loud music not helping as all she wanted to do was dance and release this pent-up energy she had. Hopefully forgetting the stupid tasks she had to do; the two actions were still swirling around her mind pecking at her insanity along with the echoes of her mother calling them easy. Was it easy if she lost herself in effort to receive a title she didn’t even want? Apparently to her mother – Candice Clark’s self-worth didn’t matter when being related to blue royalty.

In an odd way – Deliah Hawthorne reminded Candice of her mother. Both had the same look of superiority in their eyes – every word escaping their lips having a hidden agenda. It seemed like a sad way to live and honestly, Candice wanted nothing to do with that as a part of her life. Though, sadly, it seemed she must. Perhaps if Candice hadn’t been tipsy – oh hell, fine, drunk out of her god damn mind – she would have noticed the looks her ‘friend’ was giving her. Hell – maybe she would have noticed the sly underhanded remark that came with ”Well, leaving a party like this is very much your style… But, how exciting, you decided to switch it up. I hope your aware that this doesn’t mean you’re magically going to be able to leave the party sober.” However, she simply didn’t. Her mind jumped over it and she felt a smile reach her lips.

“Delilahhhh,” Candice exclaimed at the girl with a smile, “Ohmygosh youlooksoprettyyyy,” the girl continued – her words becoming more slurred by the second as she looked at the girl’s clothes. “Anddd whooo wants to be sober at a party like thisss,” she stated over the music, moving her body around to the music with a smile as she looked back down at the girl. Candice always knew that Delilah was short. Short but feisty – a aspect she respected the girl for. Though everyone looked down to her, no one would ever look down at her. “Let’s go dance girll,” Candice yelled – pulling the girl to the middle of the room where a group of people had already begin dancing before she could even complain. Candice felt her eyes close as she moved her body to the music next to the girl – laughter escaping her lips as she twirled the girl around. “Soo is Delilah Hawthorne going to leave this party solo or with someone?” Candice yelled over the music after a few minutes. In all the years Candice had known the girl – she had never seen her with anyone – so she couldn’t help but wonder, even in her drunken state.

Standing in the mirror was the first thing Kara did to get ready for the extravagant party that was before her. She picked up her blush and dabbed it on her cheeks. When it would clump up she got furious and hit one of her makeup tools against the desk. “Why is it so hard to put on makeup?!” She yelled angrily. She was slightly nervous about this Blue Royalty party and she was letting off steam by getting angry at her makeup. Her mom Marrissa came up the stairs and asked what was wrong. Kara turned to her and sighed “My makeup brushes are so annoying. I need new ones.”
Her mom rolled her eyes at her and folded her arms. “You need to hurry up and stop fooling around by worrying about your makeup brushes.” After lecturing her, she walked out of Kara room leaving her to finish getting dressed. “Whatever mom.” Kara mumbled.

Kara came down the stairs in her ‘perfect’ black dress and white heels. As she walked down the stairs, her heels clicked on the ground, echoing around the mansion. Marissa was standing at the door ready to see her out. She looked at her clothes. “Your clothes need to be ironed… but we can’t change that now can we?” She said while fixing Kara’s dress. Kara then showed her the task’s that she got on her phone. “Okay, go. Hurry.” Marrissa said while rushing Kara out of the door.

Kara stood on the front porch of the mansion awhile gazing at the mansion while thinking of the party that awaits her. “I’ve seen better.” She mumbled as she pushed open the door and entered. After observing the party and noticing that some people had better dresses than her. she sighed and sat down one one of the comfy, smooth couch sections and looked over her task again.

Selena went to the bathroom to take a long hot shower. She curled her dark brown hair and put on a touch of makeup. She decided to wear something comfy for the party today so she put on some baggy pants and a shirt. She looked in the mirror and took a photo while posing. She always loved social media and photography. She went downstairs to get some snacks and a drink to eat along the way to the party.

She grabbed her keys, entered her car and switched on the GPS to follow the directions. She put on her seatbelt, air conditioning and she turned on the music to the loudest before she began to drive through the city. She arrived at the destination some minutes later, she turned off her car and walked inside the building. The party had not fully started so she was not really late. The view was compelling, the place was so deceptive because from outside it did not look as big as the inside.

She went straight to get a drink from the bar and she walked over to associate with people. She saw someone standing on the open. “Hey. I’m Selena” she said offering a handshake.

Kara was observing the room, slightly taken aback at how fancy everything was. It’s surreal being in Adam Rockefeller’s house. She thought. She noticed that two blondes were chatting away in the corner. She had never really seen them before nor had she chatted with them. Brother and sister? Hmmm maybe. Kara thought. She saw a waiter pass by in front of them which startled her. Before the waiter fully walked away, she called out to her. “Hey, can I get a drink in one of those fancy glasses you have?” She asked. The waiter nodded and gave one to her. Her eyes still on the people talking, she got up from the couch while smoothing out her dress, making sure that it wasn’t wrinkled. She walked towards them while slightly bumping into people around her. She stood in front of them and smiled. “Hey, guy’s. How has the party been for you so far?” Kara asked them.

“There will come a time where you’re going to need an ally, or where you’re going to need to find out what someone else knows. Without knowing anybody here, that’s going to make things harder for you. Most of us have been preparing for this competition for years.” Jezebel chuckled, shaking her head. “Everyone has something they don’t want people to know. Plus to have a chance at being Blue Royalty, even if you don’t have anything that can be used against you now, that won’t last long.” Part of what helps in the race to make it into the Blue Royalty, is how others are impacted. Many seniors in the past had to betray their friends, some even sided with their enemies. The relationships gave the tasks a greater impact than if they were strangers. “What Cerulean High is really like? Like any high school, a lot of us have known each other for years. Some since childhood, some through high school. The biggest difference is we all want to be this year’s newest members of the Blue Royalty. Many of us have family members in the Blue Royalty, so we not only know an insiders view, but we want the win even more. That’s the thing, many of us can’t afford to lose, so we aren’t afraid to do whatever it takes. We’ve had three years of high school to watch the seniors now.” Jezebel smirked. “Anything could happen, at any time.” Then as Jezebel thought back to her tasks, another girl walked up to them, asking how the party was so far. “I haven’t been here long, and he just got here, so its hard to say.”

Kara looked the girl up and down that turned around to speak to her. They were starting to look suspicious to her because they were standing and talking together for a long period of time. She was watching them the whole time on the couch and they never moved away. She wanted to start prodding them just so that she can feel amused from them being uncomfortable. She started by asking them questions. “What are you guys doing standing around? Talking about…something that I shouldn’t know?” Kara said. She drank out of her glass while still studying them.

It seemed as though her leaning forward didn’t help Candice understand what she had said in the slightest as she had expected. Candice was completely intoxicated. Which also made her vulnerable, and docile, and who would Delilah be to pass up on the opportunity that it gave her?

“I’m certainly not moronic enough to leave this kind of party without someone, of course.” She answered, casually, knowing the kind of attention leaving with someone would get her - even if it’s the bad kind of attention. “But definitely not with someone important.” Delilah followed Candice to the middle of the room, laughing too - but not in the same way the plastered girl did. “And you?” She asked back, though she had already placed her bets on Candice running back to Dominic by the end of the night.

She danced along with her, knowing it would buy her some time before figuring out how she could take advantage of this situation. Delilah smiled as she could see the judging and surprised eyes Candice’s way. Most people were not used to seeing Candice like this since usually, she had the protection of… Dominic or any of her other many friends to heroically shield her from the monsters that were the rest of the school. But this time none of them were to be seen. It was about time Candice’s perfect persona came crashing down. She danced as she waited for the time where Candice became completely comfortable around her and the environment before she decided to strike.

When the time quickly came, Delilah pulled Candice to a quieter area. She put on the face of dramatic disgust when she looked at her phone. “My tasks for tonight are so boring,” Delilah said, exasperated, showing Candice her screen that showed the notes app containing self-written tasks. Her wide caramel eyes stared up at her. “Are yours any better?”

“Oh, is that an offer?” He shot back at her saying he needed an ally. For now, he knew that making allies would not be easier said than done. “No thanks. Maybe not knowing anyone makes it easier, rather than harder. No conflict of interest in the competition for me. But I guess one of us will be proved wrong from the final list.” He suggested. As she continued to talk, it seemed as though she didn’t take him too seriously as competition, but that didn’t bother him - in fact, it had the opposite effect on him. Listening to her then made him wonder what she could be hiding. How long it would take to potentially get it out of her. How long it will take before someone finds out and posts it online.

From the corner of his eye, he could see someone staring at the two of them. “And, I’m guessing, this competition also means there is no confidentiality in conversations.” He stated, looking back at the girl. “People are always listening, aren’t they?”

It wasn’t long before the same person made their way over to them. Maybe she had seen that he looked at her. Either way, she was here now and asking how the party was. He nodded in agreement with the fact that they had just gotten here, but, for some reason, that answer didn’t sit right with this girl. Was this the Blue Royalty effect? Did the competition make people suspicious of even the slightest things? Calen couldn’t help but laugh slightly at the somewhat unnecessary tension that had been created.

“Yeah,” Calen said, simply. He looked her up and down, the same way that she did to them. “See, Jessica and I were just talking about how we could sabotage the game and make ourselves the automatic winners. Don’t tell anyone.”

“I’m certainly not moronic enough to leave this kind of party without someone, of course… but definitely not with someone important.”

Candice nodded - a frown accompanying her lips as the girl said the words. Though CC couldn’t be sure, the way Delilah had answered her question seemed… fake. As if there was a hidden agenda behind them - something that Candice had become familiar with through her mother. Though as soon as they reached the middle of the room, the euphoria of the music hit her body and she had already forgotten what the girl had said. Yes… Candice had officially reached what many call ‘blackout drunk,’ meaning that for the remainder of the night, she likely would not recall what would occur. Well. Sh!t.

And you?

Candice heard the girl laugh and shrugged. “Mmm I’m just here for myyyy sellllffff,” she yelled over the music. It was true, after breaking up with Dominic, CC really hadn’t dated anyone else. Rather, she had simply allowed herself to become lost in meaningless one night stands every now and again. Though, as previously, that thought escaped her mind almost instantaneously once she closed her eyes and became lost in the music playing. She smiled at Delilah dancing along, laughter also escaping the girl’s lips - almost reminding her of pajama parties the two of them used to have when they were 12. Though - everything changed at the end of Middle school and they grew apart. But this - dancing with the girl at the moment - felt… nostalgic.

A pout soon met Candice’s lips as the girl pulled Candice away from the music. “But…” she started, her head turning towards the others dancing. Before she could continue, however, she heard the girl say something about her tasks, though, through her blurred vision, Candice couldn’t even read what Delilah’s phone said - simply nodding her head in effort to seem less drunk then she was as the girl asked something about her own tasks. “Oh, no mine are awfulllll,” Candice groaned - attempting to pull her phone out but soon realizing that she must have left that item in her car. F.ck. What were those tasks again? “Oh… sh!t…” Candice mumbled and shrugged, “Lemmmeeee just showwww youuuu,” Candice stated - pulling the girl outside of the party into the slightly chilly whether - making sure they were away from the others at the side of the house.

“I’m supposed tooo…” the girls started - struggling to take her dress off - though after a few moments she had discarded the item so she was only left in her underwear and bra. “…go streaking” she continued with a smile. Candice couldn’t really remember what her other task was anymore - hell, she could barely remember this one. “Can you help me with this,” Candice started - pointing at the clasp on her bra as she stumbled slightly. What the f.ck was she doing?

She only held up her phone for a few seconds, as she could see Candice trying to adjust her vision - in the unlikely case that if she could see it she would know what it really was. It had, as Delilah expected, worked sufficiently enough for the girl to engage in the idea of showing Delilah hers.

It was at that point where she realised how out of it Candice really was.

In all the years of knowing her, Delilah had never seen her like this. She should be worried. About what or who had happened that led her to get like this. She remembered how Candice had some sort of problems with her mother, pressuring her to be perfect, or something. But, eliminating her competition was more important than connecting the dots.

“They can’t be that bad.” She giggled, continuing to play the role and execute her plan. Her mouth formed a laughing smile that she immediately dropped when Candice looked down. Delilah’s eyes eagerly followed where her hands went, longing to see the confidential information that could cost Candice her place on Blue Royalty - which was everything. She looked around, growing slightly impatient at the oblivious drunk not being able to find her phone among the blasting music and gleaming lights. Delilah had to make sure her exasperated sigh was internal when Candice made them change location again.

They made their way outside, and, almost immediately, Candice took her dress off - later with the explanation of it being a task. “Well, that dress was awful, anyway,” Delilah muttered with a contradicting smile. She quickly raised her phone to answer a text. “It’s really cold out here, though, maybe that should be one to miss out?” She suggested, bending down Delilah to hand her the scarlet red dress. She knew this would prevent Candice from getting any points. Which was (part of) her goal.

Zion turned to face the girl who approached them, recognizing her from seeing her around the hall, but drawing a blank on her name. They felt relieved when she introduced herself first. “Hola Selena. I’m Zion.” They introduced themself to her, smiling and switching the hand that was holding their bottle to shake her hand. She seems nice enough. They thought to themself, admiring her unique fashion sense. “Cool outfit.” They compliment her. “I’m assuming that you’re also a senior, seeing as everyone here seems to be a senior.” They commented, having noticed when they entered the party that no one younger than them was in attendance. They put their free hand in their pocket, finishing off their drink. Empty. Guess I better get another. “I’m going to get a refill, care to join me?” They offered to Selena, nodding toward the bar.

“Even if it were easier, we’ve all been preparing for this a long time. Take that as you will, but it won’t be easy for anyone, not even you. Everyone has to take the opportunities they get.” Everything was fair game, even for those who had been there a long while. Jezebel looked to the girl. “There’s not much to know really.” Jezebel then looked back to Calen as he spoke, slightly annoyed by his use of the name Jessica instead of Jezebel, them turned her gaze back to the girl. “Only some of us can win. We just have to do what it takes to be the ultimate winners in the end.”

Natalia carefully examined her appearance in the full-length mirror — her dark hair was styled in loose waves that delicately draped across her shoulders. An emerald, Tom Ford silk dress hugged her thin frame, paired with gold Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos. Natalia was never one to play-it-safe when it came to fashion. She’d prefer runway-ready looks over a simple black dress any day. Especially today, the first official event of the semester, how could she look anything other than extravagant? Everyone knew that becoming Blue Royalty meant more than completing mindless tasks, it also relied on exuding opulence and wealth in every aspect of life, including attire. And at this moment, Natalia thought she at least looked the part of a Blue Royalty.

At the foot of her king-sized bed, Natalia read her tasks once again, one of which was easy, the other was rather tricky. Frankly, she wasn’t too concerned with completing both tasks, Natalia just desired a memorable, fun night back in the city. Brownie points if she could achieve her tasks, extra brownie points if she could stir up trouble in other ways.

With little to no questions from her parents, the couture-clad beauty ventured off to the Rockefeller Residence. Once the chauffeur opened the car door, Natalia gracefully stepped into the vehicle, “Muy amable, Álvaro,” she thanked him in his native tongue. As the Aston Martin drove by the Beryl Heights sights and bright lights, Natalia’s jade eyes remained glued to the illuminated screen of her iPhone before reaching the destination. Hm, Adam Rockefeller has great taste in real estate, she thought as she gazed at the luxurious mansion.

Natalia applied a final coat of red lipstick before swiftly stepping out of the car, her couture ensemble on full display. Her lips formed a gentle smile as she advanced towards the entrance and passed the stationed guards, “Hello boys,” she winked. Flicking a stray hair out of her eyes, Natalia’s piercing green eyes roamed across the lavish home, admiring how every detail was carefully tended. The waiters catered the best champagne money could buy, the atmosphere was full of life. As she further promenades into the crowd of students, her eyes fleetingly glance at every face – their eyes were certainly on her as well. Let the party commence.

Calen was surprised, and raised his eyebrows, to see that it seemed the two girls had taken his joking statement seriously. He laughed tediously at the second girl’s sly comment to Jessica… or whatever she had said her name was. He wondered whether or not that was the competitiveness speaking or it was just her personality - he figured almost everyone would be wondering that about each other at this school. No one was here to make friends. Himself included.

The two girls each had their attention now mainly on each other, and so Calen’s eyes drifted away from the conversation, and his body soon followed. He would have said goodbye but… he was already out of sight.

Before entering a new conversation, Calen made a pit-stop at the bar, occupying the small space in between the many groups of gossiping seniors. He ordered a Jack on the Rocks, knowing that something as simple as the choice of beverage would change people’s opinions of you - and people’s opinions of him were the most important things, being the new student.

Once he took the glass placed before him, Calen spun around to observe the scene and swiftly stepped into it again. His eyes stopped on a striking emerald green-eyed brunette, stood front and center as if she owned the place, looking around for someone to talk to. Her outfit screamed wealth, and, in a place like this, wealth equals popularity. So it was a no-brainer, deciding whether or not to approach her. The corner of his mouth quirked up and he made his way towards her.

“Hey,” He said simply with an enigmatic smile, knowing his appearance would be able to do most of the work for him. “I’m Calen Hunter. And you?”
