Dorian DeLoughrey
The fact that she didn’t know what stop means when he told her that multiple times bothered him more than her switching groups. He knew who was in his group, he was actually paying attention to that for many reasons and he doesn’t remember hearing her name. So his guess was she asked to be with him so she could do this. “Cutie”, taking in a deep breath to keep his cool, he looked down at her hand that was now on his chest for a second before looking up at Riker with a sarcastic smile and mumbling “We’re perfect.” Of course, nothing was perfect, it was visible on his face but he couldn’t let her see that so he quickly shifted his attention back to her, a soft smirk appearing on his lips again.
His hands now rested on her hips, gently pulling her closer to him when he felt her arms wrapping around his neck. “Not patient? Should’ve expected that,” Dorian answered, in the same teasing way. It would be a lie to say he didn’t enjoy her touch and everything else she was doing, he very much did.
He always had fun with her. Emily was always there when he needed her. Needed someone. She always made him feel better about himself but… he didn’t need it anymore. Especially not now. Or that’s what he wanted to believe in. At that moment, he looked to the side, regretting going along and flirting with Emily but it was too late. It was also too late to look away because he locked eyes with Sadie, one of the sweetest girls he met, a girl that didn’t deserve to be involved in his drama. He felt more than guilty, especially because he let Emily be all over him at that moment and what made it worse was seeing Sadie smiling at him. As much as it hurt him to do that, he returned the smile but quickly looked back at Emily again, focusing on one problem at a time.
One of his hands moved up to push a strand of her hair behind her ear when she asked about the spot he found. Fck, there was no spot. “That’s a surprise…” he chuckled, letting his thumb slide over her jaw and gently brush over her lower lip as he kept his eyes on it. “I’ll tell you later, okay?” Moving his hands and shoving them in his pocket, he took a step back from her but made sure the smile on his face was still visible. “But if you promise to be nice to my friend,” he quickly added, pointing to no one else but Sadie.
