Her eyes closed to the feeling of the brisk air of the morning. She did love waking up early and taking it all in. The moment right when everything was dark before light-filled streets. For the past hour, despite the time, Jessica Pierce had been sitting in a small coffee shop, drinking as she wrote notes in her spiral notebook. After all - classes were still a thing. Weekend or not. No matter how much drinking, parting, hanging out the days were filled with - school was always right there. Though with her mind, it wasn’t hard to keep up. Despite what people may have thought.
It was around 7 that Jess finally finished the black coffee in her hands - an ironic favorite of both Jessica and Daniel - before walking to the Mercedes she had borrowed from Dan’s garage and driving to school - already having been ready for the day hours earlier. She needed something out of her locker, though the halls were filled with a few students decorating for something. “School Lock In” was mentioned on a poster on the wall as the girl had her hands in her jeans, looking around at the people setting up. She enjoyed this - the emptiness. Most of the students clearly didn’t enjoy her presence as seen by the looks she still received on a daily basis. So this emptiness was a needed relief. Oh well. Though a sigh escaped her lips when her eyes caught sight of Theodore Alaire. Not for the first time, and now going to school with him - clearly not the last. Tell us what happened to Anna’s relationship - was still a dare that echoed in her mind. She had chosen to drink, after all - what could she tell him? So that’s what she faced yet again. A decision. There was something in her - a tired sense as she walked towards Teddy with a sigh, not saying anything as she grabbed his hand, pulled him away from who he was talking to likely about the idiotic lock in and into an empty classroom. “Well? You wanted to talk?” she mumbled before he had a chance to utter something along the lines of “what the hell man,” in his french accent. “You want to know why Anna broke up with you?” Jess asked, looking at his stoic face as his hands crossed his chest. “This is why,” After a few seconds, Jess put her hands in her pocket and walked up to Theo as she pulled his head down - bringing her lips to his ear as if she was about to whisper a secret.

After the drop by at school, Jess felt as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. In an odd sense, revealing something that she had kept locked up for so long did… help? A soft sigh escaped her lips as she found herself in a familiar location. Part of her didn’t even know how she ended up there - though, over the last few days, Jessica had been growing closer to Kai; in every sense of the word. Had they had sex? No - and the thought of him pushing her off of him the last time came to mind. Granted it was right after the… fight with the male DeLoughry who shall not be named - so she may have been a little upset when trying to sleep with Kai after the incident. Though they hadn’t really talked about it since then. They still hung out, went on dates - and he was clearly easing onto her antiques. As she walked in, the bell hop downstairs smiled at her saying something about the best chocolates in the city - apparently as per their last conversation. Though she just smiled, told the man she needed to go and left without talking much - all the way to the top floor where Kai lived. As she exited the elevator, the girl naturally walked towards the door as had become a habit and the two talked in the morning as they usually did now-a-days.Though with his sister arriving - Jess had left early to give them space to talk and once again found herself at the same cafe she started her day off in. Drinking another coffee as she found serenity in the silence.
