Today had been a… strange day to say the very least. And now she was in possibly the last place she wanted to be - a school lock-in stuck with people who still didn’t enjoy her presence. Most people, however, had gotten used to it though that didn’t mean Jessica still didn’t get a few nasty looks in the hallways from students she used to get along with.
Though in retrospect; it was also a good day. The last moment with Mareena seeping into her mind - despite going their separate ways after the deed had been done. Though now, walking the halls of Cerulean High she almost wished she could go back. Stop time. Be back in that moment. But rather; here she was. Locked in a school.
She moved slowly through the hallway - not yet willing to head into the main room with everyone just yet. Though perhaps she spoke too soon as she found the path towards the gym blocked by two men speaking right in front of it. Did they have to converse right in front of the only door leading to the gym? Apparently, they did. “Do you mind?” Jess muttered; though as she brought her eyes up to meet his a soft sigh escaped her lips. Dorian DeLoughrey. Of Course. “You’re kind of blocking the only entrance - in case that fact just slipped your mind,” Jess stated stoically - no emotion in her voice as she spoke to him. Though apparently, the last words they had said to each other were simply an Instagram comment section conversation.
