Jezebel rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at her best friend when he commented on her not being ‘ladylike.’ “If you wanted to hang out with a perfect and proper young lady all the time you wouldn’t be around me. You know what you got yourself into by being my best friend.” Jezebel was pretty casual and not prim and proper, especially while with Daniel. Around others she had to stay on her A-game, but around him she could relax. The exception being when it came to Daniel threatening to torture her with his singing. “You’re like the only person that I would want to have on that list if I’m not. You’re the one to beat right now, and I’m still mad that I couldn’t make it on that first list with you.” Jezebel sighed thinking about Daniel’s singing, but smiled at what he said about their last first day. “It’s crazy, right? We just gotta make the most of it! We are going to rock this school year, and rule the school together like we have the past few years.” It wasn’t long before Daniel’s dreaded singing began. She plugged her ears with her fingers to lessen the amount of pain caused by the horrible sound. “Definitely not! It’s the lesser of two evils!” It was still a mystery how Jezebel and Daniel actually worked as friends, but Daniel really was Jezebel’s best friend.
