The sound of footsteps approaching the door of the dressing room made Delilah quickly change from having her legs together and head on her knees to sitting cross-legged, in some attempt at making her seem a lot less distressed than she was. As the door opened, the slim chance of it being Daniel coming back had crossed her mind, and she truly hoped that it wasn’t the case, as most of her never wanted to see- let alone talk to- him again, and she certainly didn’t want him to see that he had effected her this much.
Though to her surprise, it was Dorian DeLoughrey, someone she’d honestly almost forgotten existed. She gave no audible response to him being there initially, and then he asked if she was okay to which she sighed. “Can’t you see this room is occupied?” She asked, completely ignoring what he was saying, looking at the broken glass on the floor and then finally up at him, giving him the opportunity to leave with no further questions. Dorian and Delilah had spoken a few times, but they never made it past shallow and futile small talk and she never had any plans for that to change.
“I think I saw the dressing room to the left of this one was free,” Delilah added, looking away from him again when he didn’t leave immediately after what she had said.
