He frowned as she talked about her mom. Toxicity or not; it seemed Jezebel couldn’t get her mother out of her own head and Daniel Parker hated that. He despised that woman with his whole being for that reason. “Jez…” Dan started, placing his hand on her shoulder, “you’re going to be a better mother than her…” Dan continued. For some reason; he had a feeling that was her fear. What she was worried about more than anything else and what Dan knew was that she was wrong. But if the girl got caught up in not making the mistakes her mom did; she’d end up making other ones. It was Jezebel’s weakness - getting caught up in things that could come back to bite her in the ass later.
As the topic of Kai came up; the frown on Dan’s features deepened. “Jezebel, I don’t ask you to do a lot for me… but this is one thing I need you to promise. Just stay away from Kai.” Dan stated clearly. If Daniel could; he’d punch the man but with his reveal a few weeks ago it was clear that he couldn’t do that. “There’s… I don’t care what you know about him, but Kai’s not a good guy. I have a feeling he’s trouble and I just need to get Jess away from him too,” Dan explained; though if it was more to himself or her… he wasn’t sure.
